The Hoshimi Family.
A man in a suit rushed into the study holding a tablet.
"Master of the House!"
"Take a look at this, regarding the Second Miss."
With that, the suited man presented a tablet to Soichiro.
The tablet was currently playing footage of Xing Jian Aya fighting.
The various combat poses were captured in a very tricky manner.
One could see Xing Jian Aya, the floating red object beside her, and the demon blade glowing red.
"This... a demon blade?!"
Soichiro stared at Xing Jian Aya in the footage, unable to believe his eyes.
"Yes, Master of the House."
"Recently, this video has been circulating among some minor family factions."
"And they are saying that this demon blade is a replica of the ancestral treasured sword of our Hoshimi Family."
"As well as that the Second Miss is a secret weapon you have been hiding,"
The suited man said with his head bowed.
"...You may leave first."
"I need to think this matter over carefully."
With that, Soichiro took the tablet.
Seeing this, the suited man nodded and left the study.
Soichiro then found a combat video of Xing Jian Miyabi and brought it out, pausing it at a specific combat stance.
Comparing the paused frames of the two videos, aside from the difference in color, they looked almost identical.
Ultimately, Soichiro decided to see for himself to confirm, as videos couldn't prove anything.
Soichiro dialed Xing Jian Miyabi's number, but no one answered after talking for a minute or two.
...
Sixth Street, Video Store.
Mao You bounced cheerfully into the Video Store.
"Proxy, do you remember the commission I brought to you guys last time?"
Mao You said with a grin, looking to be in a great mood.
"Are you talking about that timid Ollie?"
Xing Jian Aya guessed.
"That's right, him."
"A follow-up commission has arrived."
"But it's a bit troublesome."
"It's not a big trouble, just that two colleagues he doesn't know will be setting off with him."
Mao You lifted her chin proudly, then meticulously repeated the details of the commission she discussed with Ollie.
They needed to act as support personnel to clear out the Etheralss on the road beforehand; simply put, it was bodyguard work.
Clearing away all dangers on the route.
Suddenly, Ling caught an important point.
"Wait a moment, Mao You."
"You didn't memorize all 476 pages, did you?!"
Ling was somewhat shocked.
That wasn't a small number.
"Of course not!"
"Who would learn about Public Security Officers using something like that?!"
"It's just that I have to work alongside people from the Public Security Bureau; how could something like this stump me?"
"A little bit of homework is all it takes,"
Mao You laughed.
"There's still some time before the mission execution. I'll go study in a nearby district first."
"We'll contact you when it's time for us to set off."
With that, Mao You excitedly left again.
She looked to be in a good mood.
"He left?"
"Mao You said he was going to study nearby; I wonder what exactly he's planning to do..."
Zhe pondered.
"Ling, Aya, I think you two should follow him and check the situation out,"
"After all, we'll have to enter The Hollow together eventually, so it's better to have some idea of what's going on,"
Zhe suggested.
Xing Jian Aya and Ling nodded upon hearing this and left the Video Store together.
When they arrived at the subway station outside, they saw Mao You sneakily peeking at two Public Security Officers who were conversing.
Seeing this, the two walked over.
"Whoa!"
"It's you guys."
"Sneaking up on me like that startled me,"
Mao You patted her chest, still a bit shaken.
"Mao You, the studying you mentioned, you don't mean eavesdropping here, do you?"
Xing Jian Aya looked at Mao You, then glanced at the two Public Security Officers not far away.
"Don't put it so crudely."
"Look, those two Public Security Officers seem to be discussing work matters."
"It's a good chance to understand, to study their communication methods."
"I don't mind if you guys want to watch nearby, but we have to be discreet; don't stare at them so openly,"
Mao You said seriously.
"Alright, Mao You."
"Then we'll listen in with you."
Saying that, the three gathered together, pretending to chat while actually eavesdropping on the conversation of the two Public Security Officers nearby.
Naturally, the conversation between the two Public Security Officers mainly revolved around a case that happened at midnight.
Not long after, the two Public Security Officers left.
Seeing this, Mao You started looking for other targets again.
Finally, next to the Aowu Newspaper office, they found a pair of Public Security Officers wearing plain clothes.
The three started secretly listening again.
Soon, the time for the commissioned mission arrived.
Mao You and Xing Jian Aya brought Eous to the designated meeting point they had agreed upon.
"Mao You, ask him."
"What's the situation with Ollie?"
Xing Jian Aya reminded her.
Mao You nodded, took out the communication device they had prepared for use inside The Hollow.
"Ollie, we have arrived at the coordinates you sent."
Mao You said into the walkie-talkie.
"Understood. After I meet up with the Public Security Officers from the Eleventh Bureau,"
"Miss Mao You and Miss Aya can just follow us parallel from a distance."
"If any emergency occurs, I will also send a request for support remotely,"
Ollie briefly explained the mission details.
"I hope that when that time comes, you can tell us promptly,"
"Instead of first training your lung capacity,"
Mao You frowned.
"I... I will try my best to hold back, after all, people from the Eleventh Bureau are here this time,"
Ollie sounded a bit guilty.
"I hear footsteps; it seems other Public Security Officers have arrived on your end."
"Alright, keep in touch at all times."
With that, Mao You prepared to put away the communicator.
"Huh? I don't see anyone else coming over here?"
Ollie asked doubtfully.
"Hiss... Ollie, you really have a knack for efficiency!"
"Did you mix up the location information for both sides, sending the address for contacting them to us instead?"
"I see the two colleagues from the Eleventh Bureau you mentioned walking toward us,"
Xing Jian Aya looked at the man and woman walking toward them not far ahead.
"Ahhhhh!"
"I sent it to the wrong place!!"
"I sent them the coordinates where you guys are!!"
"What should we do now?!"
Ollie checked his phone messages after hearing Xing Jian Aya's words.
He discovered in horror that he had sent the coordinates where Mao You and the others were located as his own position.
"We were just about to ask you that!"
Mao You questioned in a low voice.
"Before they can see you clearly, run away immediately,"
"With your speed, they definitely won't be able to catch up,"
Ollie suggested a plan.
"We haven't done anything wrong, why should we run away?"
"Besides, if we leave, what happens to this operation?"
Mao You questioned.
She was truly speechless regarding Ollie.
