Chapter 1 - Chapter 1- Dominator's Nurturing High School

On an isolated island far away from the mainland of China, surrounded by endless blue sea and tall cliffs that made escape almost impossible, stood a massive academic institution known as Dominator's Nurturing High School.

The school covered almost half of the island.

From above, the campus looked like a small city—huge glass buildings, modern dormitories, training grounds, gardens, libraries, sports complexes, and advanced research halls. Every structure was connected by wide paved roads and clean walkways lined with trees.

This place was not just another high school.

It was known across the entire world as the most elite and mysterious educational institution ever created.

Only Chinese students were allowed to enroll here.

The reason was simple.

The school was created with a single purpose—to nurture the most capable generation of individuals.

The reputation of Dominator's Nurturing High School was terrifyingly perfect.

Every single student who graduated from this school received a 100% scholarship to top universities. And after finishing university, they were guaranteed high-ranking job placements in powerful corporations, government institutions, or global organizations.

Not a single graduate had ever failed.

Not once.

For decades, the school maintained a flawless record.

But such success came with one absolute rule.

Once students entered the academy, their parents could no longer interfere in their lives.

No visits.

No phone calls.

No messages.

No influence.

For three entire years, the students lived completely separated from their families. The school controlled their education, environment, and development without outside interference.

Many parents hesitated because of this.

But the results spoke louder than fear.

A 100% success rate for students who completed the full three years.

And so every year thousands of families competed desperately for the chance to send their children here.

---

Early morning sunlight spread across the island as the first day of the academic year began.

In front of the enormous black iron gates of Dominator's Nurturing High School, hundreds of new students were entering the campus one after another.

The gate itself was massive, almost ten meters tall, with the golden emblem of the school engraved at the center.

Security guards stood silently at the entrance while automated scanners checked every student who walked through.

It felt less like entering a school…

And more like entering a controlled world.

The newcomers all wore the same uniform.

For boys, it was a formal outfit consisting of black pants, a white shirt, and a black coat with the emblem of Dominator's Nurturing High School stitched on the chest.

The girls wore black skirts, white shirts, and identical black coats with the same emblem.

Both boys and girls carried the same design of bags—sleek black backpacks with thin white outlines.

Uniformity.

Order.

Discipline.

Some students were excitedly chatting, introducing themselves and forming new friendships.

Others wandered around the campus curiously, staring at the enormous buildings and beautiful landscape.

After all, this place would be their home for the next three years.

But there were also those who preferred silence.

The introverts.

Those students quietly entered their assigned classrooms and sat alone, avoiding unnecessary conversation.

---

Inside the academic building, every classroom followed the exact same design.

Five rows of desks.

Each row contained eight desks arranged neatly in pairs.

Forty students per class.

The classroom walls were spotless white, with large windows that allowed sunlight to pour inside. Two sliding doors were positioned on opposite sides of the room for entering and exiting.

One of these classrooms belonged to First Year Class-D.

Inside the room, most desks were still empty as the students had not fully gathered yet.

But one boy was already sitting there.

He occupied the last desk of the first row near the window.

His chin rested lazily on his left hand while his gaze drifted outside the open window.

Cold morning wind blew gently through the classroom, causing his hair to sway softly.

The boy had crimson colored eyes.

His crimson hair was styled neatly, giving him a sharp yet elegant appearance.

His facial features were extremely handsome—almost too perfect for a high school student.

Cool.

Calm.

Detached.

On the surface of his desk, a name was engraved like every other desk in the classroom.

Xiao Ziyan.

Every desk in the room had the name of its assigned student written on it, ensuring no one changed seats.

Xiao Ziyan remained completely still as he stared at the vast blue sky outside.

His thoughts slowly drifted through his mind.

Do you ever think that everyone in this world is treated the same?

If someone asks you that question, you might say yes.

But deep inside…

You fucking know the answer is no.

This world was never fair.

People here were greedy as hell.

Most of them didn't give a damn whether others lived or died.

They only cared about themselves.

Reality was ugly.

And Xiao Ziyan understood that better than most.

The wind brushed past his face again, lifting strands of his crimson hair.

Just then—

The classroom door slid open with a soft sound.

A young girl walked inside.

She quietly closed the door behind her before walking deeper into the classroom.

Her footsteps were calm and unhurried.

She stopped beside a desk in the second row at the last position, right beside where Xiao Ziyan was sitting.

Her name was written on the desk just like the others.

Without saying a single word, she sat down.

She hung her bag neatly on the metal hook attached to the side of the desk.

The girl didn't even spare Xiao Ziyan a glance.

Instead, she calmly opened her bag and took out a small pocket-sized book.

She flipped through the pages until she found the spot where she had stopped reading earlier.

Then she began reading again silently.

Her expression was completely indifferent.

As if nothing around her mattered.

The wind continued to flow quietly through the classroom, rustling the curtains near the open window.

Xiao Ziyan remained seated at his desk, his chin resting lazily on his left hand while his crimson eyes stared into the endless sky outside. His expression showed no change, as if the world around him had nothing to do with him.

Beside him, the girl in the second row continued reading her pocket-sized book silently.

Neither of them had spoken a single word since entering the classroom.

The atmosphere inside the room was calm and strangely detached.

Time slowly passed.

Almost half an hour later, the silence was finally broken.

The front door of the classroom slid open.

A woman stepped inside.

She was the homeroom teacher of Class-D.

Unlike most teachers who dressed formally, she wore a simple white dress covered by a long white coat. At first glance the coat looked similar to a doctor's coat, but the style was clearly different.

Between the fingers of her right hand, a cigarette burned slowly.

She inhaled deeply and exhaled a cloud of smoke into the air as she lazily looked at the two students inside the classroom.

Her voice carried a tone of mild irritation.

"Why the hell are you two still here?"

She took another drag from the cigarette and continued speaking while exhaling smoke.

"The entrance ceremony starts in ten minutes. Hurry up and follow me to the ceremony hall."

Xiao Ziyan slowly lifted his head.

Without saying a word, he stood up from his chair.

His movements were calm and unhurried. As he began walking toward the back door of the classroom, his right hand slipped casually into the pocket of his pants.

Behind him, the girl also closed her book.

She placed it back inside her bag and stood up from her seat.

Just like Xiao Ziyan, she didn't waste energy speaking.

She simply followed behind him.

The two of them walked out of the classroom.

After stepping outside, the girl turned slightly and closed the classroom door behind her.

Meanwhile, the teacher casually inhaled from her cigarette again and gestured lazily with her other hand.

"Come on. Follow me."

She began walking down the corridor without waiting for a response.

Xiao Ziyan and the girl quietly followed her.

The corridor was long and silent, the morning sunlight streaming through the large windows on one side of the hallway.

Their footsteps echoed faintly against the polished floor.

None of them spoke.

The teacher walked in front while casually smoking her cigarette as if school rules didn't apply to her.

Behind her, Xiao Ziyan walked with his usual calm expression, his gaze drifting lazily around the corridor.

The girl followed silently behind him.

They eventually reached the staircase and began walking down several floors.

The building was massive, and the journey took several minutes.

Finally, after a long walk through corridors and stairways, they arrived in front of a large double door.

Above it was a sign.

Ceremony Hall.

The homeroom teacher pushed the door open and stepped inside.

Without even bothering to turn around, she spoke while walking away.

"Get inside and close the door."

Then she casually walked toward the area where the other teachers were already standing.

Xiao Ziyan and the girl stepped inside the hall together.

The ceremony hall was enormous.

Hundreds of students from different classes had already gathered there, forming organized lines across the vast floor.

As Xiao Ziyan entered, he slightly slowed his pace.

He stopped just near the door and allowed the girl beside him to move ahead first.

He waited.

The girl noticed this.

For a moment, a small hint of confusion appeared on her face.

Why did he stop?

Was he letting her go first?

It was such a small and strange gesture that it made her wonder briefly.

But she didn't think about it for long.

She simply continued walking forward to join the line of Class-D students.

After she passed through, Xiao Ziyan reached back and closed the large door quietly.

Then he walked forward.

He stepped beside the girl and took his place in the line.

Both of them stood there calmly.

Silent.

Neither of them spoke.

And the entrance ceremony of Dominator's Nurturing High School was about to begin.
