Chapter Two: The First Mass Shock

After the initial shock Adam delivered, the atmosphere at Oren Academy was charged with surprise and tension.
The students exchanged glances, some stunned by the unexpected and overwhelming power, others laughing, but with nervous smiles, as if sensing a danger approaching.
Adam stood on the wooden pavement of the courtyard, the cool air brushing against his face, but he no longer felt the same bewilderment he had felt that morning. Something inside him had changed. He was no longer just a weak student; he now possessed the Crowd Shock System, a mysterious device that granted him power with every impact on others.
He looked around him. The old buildings clad in gray stone, the vast courtyard teeming with students, the birds circling above—everything seemed different after the shock.
He felt as though the academy itself was changing, and that every small step now would be a new opportunity to grow in strength.
His mentor, Raven, a man of immense stature, approached him with heavy steps.
He raised an eyebrow and said in surprise,
"Adam… I've never seen anything like this in my entire life. Do you know what you did?"
Adam replied calmly, "I didn't do anything except follow my instincts…"
Raven smiled slightly, then continued, "This year will be unlike any other…"
At that moment, the other students noticed Adam. Their expressions changed; some widened their eyes in shock, while others stepped back.
One student whispered, "Did… did you see what happened?"
Another said, "That kid… his strength… I can't believe it!"
Adam felt motivated, and with a small smile, he began walking toward a group of powerful students.
The system's banner appeared before him:
Next Task: Shock 10 people. Reward: Optional Skill
He took a deep breath and began to approach, every step calculated, every movement carefully considered.
The students around him backed away, wondering, some trying to whisper,
"Are we in danger?" "He's not just a failure anymore… something's changed in him…"
Adam raised his fist, displaying his new skill: the crushing blow he'd gained from his previous shock.
The first blow landed on an average-strength student, and the academy felt an immediate shudder. The other students screamed and backed away; the air itself seemed to shake from the force of the impact.
Applying the Triple Shock System:
• Shock Size: Direct hit → 70 points
• Number of people shocked: Approximately 15 students → Multiply by 5
• Level of people shocked: Various levels from average to high → Multiply by 9
Total Shock Points = 70 x 5 x 9 = 3150 Shock Points
The system board lit up, recording:

[Reward Received: New Skill – "Rapid Reaction"]
Adam felt his strength multiply; every part of his body felt stiffer, his movements faster and more precise.
The students began to move cautiously, some hiding, others forming groups to confront him, but terror was evident on their faces.
Raven raised his voice:
"Stop it! Let him finish. Let's see how far he'll go!"
Adam pressed on. Every strike was calculated; every reaction from the students deepened his understanding of the system.
He noticed that every person he struck gave him an opportunity to learn their weaknesses and refine his techniques.
The academy courtyard erupted in chaos. Students screamed, ran, and tried to dodge the next blow. The air was thick with the energy surging from Adam's newfound power.
After several minutes, Adam paused to catch his breath, but he felt a strange elation. For the first time in years, he felt powerful and in control.
"Every blow makes me stronger…" he said to himself with a smile, looking at the stunned students.
