Ebhabe Fire Asha Jai – Part 11

An Emotional Chapter

Author: Parikshit Halder

The morning sky was quiet and pale. Soft sunlight slowly entered the small room where Arnob was sitting alone. His eyes were tired because he had not slept the whole night. Meghla's words from the previous evening were still echoing in his heart.

"Sometimes love is not about staying together… sometimes it is about understanding each other."

Arnob held the old diary that Meghla had once given him. Inside it were memories—small notes, dried flowers, and little sentences that Meghla used to write when they were newly married.

He opened one page slowly.

"If someday we lose our way, promise me we will find our way back again."

Arnob closed his eyes. His heart felt heavy. Life after marriage was never as easy as they once dreamed. Responsibilities, misunderstandings, and silence had slowly built a wall between them.

But deep inside, the love was still alive.

At the same time, Meghla was standing on the balcony of her father's house. The cool morning breeze touched her face. She looked at the sky and remembered the first day she met Arnob.

It was a rainy afternoon. Arnob was holding an umbrella, smiling shyly, while Meghla laughed freely like a child. That day both of them believed love would always stay simple.

But life had its own story.

Meghla's mother came and gently placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Are you still thinking about Arnob?" she asked softly.

Meghla smiled faintly.

"Some relationships never leave the heart, Ma. Even if people go far away."

Her mother looked at her with understanding eyes.

"Then why don't you talk to him?"

Meghla stayed silent.

Sometimes pride becomes stronger than love. And sometimes fear stops people from taking the first step.

Back in his house, Arnob suddenly made a decision. He could not live with regret anymore. If love was still alive, he had to try once more.

He picked up his phone and stared at Meghla's number.

His fingers trembled.

"What if she doesn't want to talk to me anymore?" he whispered to himself.

But then he remembered their promise.

"We will find our way back again."

Arnob finally pressed the call button.

The phone rang.

On the other side, Meghla's phone vibrated on the table. She looked at the screen and her heart skipped a beat.

Arnob was calling.

For a moment, she froze.

Her mind was full of memories—happy moments, painful arguments, silent nights.

The phone kept ringing.

Her mother quietly said, "Sometimes destiny gives us another chance."

Meghla slowly picked up the phone.

"Hello…"

Arnob closed his eyes when he heard her voice.

For a few seconds, neither of them spoke.

Then Arnob said softly, "How are you, Meghla?"

Meghla's voice was calm but emotional.

"I am fine… How are you?"

"I'm trying to be fine," Arnob replied honestly.

There was a deep silence between them, but this silence felt different. It was not the silence of anger. It was the silence of two hearts trying to understand each other again.

Arnob spoke again.

"I know I made many mistakes. Maybe I did not understand your feelings properly. But I never stopped loving you."

Meghla's eyes filled with tears.

"Arnob… love alone is not enough sometimes. We also need patience and trust."

"I know," Arnob said quietly. "And I want to learn again… if you give me a chance."

Meghla looked at the sky. The wind was moving the white curtains gently.

Her heart was still connected to him.

"Why now?" she asked softly.

Arnob replied, "Because I realized something… life without you feels empty. I don't want to win an argument. I want to save our relationship."

Meghla wiped a tear from her cheek.

For the first time in many days, her heart felt lighter.

"Maybe we both needed some distance to understand each other," she said.

Arnob smiled faintly.

"Then… can we start again?"

Meghla didn't answer immediately.

She remembered their wedding day, their dreams, their laughter.

Finally she said,

"Starting again doesn't mean forgetting the past. It means learning from it."

Arnob nodded even though she could not see him.

"I am ready."

Meghla took a deep breath.

"Then come and meet me today."

Arnob's heart started beating faster.

"Really?"

"Yes," Meghla said softly. "Let's talk face to face."

For the first time in many weeks, Arnob felt hope.

The call ended.

Outside, the sun had risen higher in the sky. It felt like a new beginning.

Arnob quickly got ready and left the house. Every step felt emotional. He didn't know what would happen next, but he knew one thing—love was still guiding them.

Meanwhile, Meghla stood in front of the mirror, adjusting her saree.

Her heart was nervous but peaceful.

Sometimes relationships break not because love disappears, but because people forget how to return to each other.

Today, maybe they were finally finding their way back.

And perhaps this was the true meaning of their story—

Ebhabe Fire Asha Jai.

Sometimes love finds its way back… in the most emotional way.

Author's Thought – Parikshit Halder:

True love may get lost, but sincere hearts always find their way back.
