Meanwhile downstairs, the ballroom remained lively.
Music was still playing and the guests were chatting among themselves.
So Jeo stood where he had been previously, while a businessman was currently talking to him about a future partnership. But he wasn't listening.
His immunity was strong enough to handle it for this long, but a faint heat spread through his body beneath his shirt.
He was feeling irritated and annoyed.
"Mr. So Jeo?"
So Jeo looked at him.
The man quickly froze upon meeting that cold gaze.
So Jeo's eyes looked even colder than usual.
A chill ran down his spine.
"No."
"No?" the man repeated in a questioning tone, obviously confused.
"Whatever you just asked." So Jeo turned and walked away.
Leaving the man confused as he stood there flabbergasted.
His steps were calm as usual, not giving the guests any reason for doubt or suspicion.
