I slowly make my way out of my room being very cautious as I go. Looking around I see several other rooms, either my human parent is rich or I'm in an orphanage. I go to move down the steps when.

Oh shit not good what the hell, was that a monster. I slowly keep down the steps and peek around the corner only to see. A woman in dressed in silver with auburn hair tearing through the first floor. When she turns her back to look in another room I try running for it. I make it out the door when I hear her screaming in anger. I make what could be my biggest mistake and look over my shoulder. Only to see her not even 10 feet away running straight for me. The suprise causes me to trip and tumble forward into the lawn.
"St..stay back.." I stutter badly while fumbling for my knife.
She stops a foot away from me. "My… my Bambi…." She says distorted before coughing
"oh that is adorable Bambi." She compliments? me as the impending sense of death fades.
I freeze internally 'why is she calling me that?' Mustering up courage I ask "who.. who are you?" While shivering.
While definitely unsurprised she still looks hurt by my question. "Oh Bambi, I'm hurt you don't know who I am. However I suppose that is to be expected since you grew up in an orphanage." She says "I'm Artemis Goddess of the moon, archery, hunting, independence, and virginity. Now as for you my dear Bambi, you are my son."

POV Artemis
After almost 16 years I've finally found him my poor little Bambi. Oh.. his stutters they are just so cute.. wait he is shivering he must be cold.
"who.. who are you?"
It's ok he was raised in ignorance I consoled myself while answering as womanly as possible. "Oh Bambi, I'm hurt you don't know who I am. However I suppose that is to be expected since you grew up in an orphanage. I'm Artemis Goddess of the moon, archery, hunting, independence, and virginity. Now as for you my dear Bambi, you are my son." I say grinning.
I watch him process the fact his mother is a Goddess waiting for the inevitable interrogation. And here comes the hard questi— oh shit. I rush forward grabbing him as his eyes roll up and he passes out on me.
"Of all the ways our first meeting could have gone I never expected you to pass out Bambi. Well now let's get you back home." I say to his unconscious form. Pick up his little body I frown. 'He is light, far too light.' More concerned about his safety than retribution I take him to my Moon Chariot and take us to the hunt, holding him tight the whole way.
AN: Hey guys sorry for how short this chapter is, I thought about continuing it at the Hunters camp But that seemed like a big jump cut for all one chapter.
PS: I know the reveal was quick on his mother, but I really couldn't justify her not immediately retrieving David without changing my story path in major ways.
