Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 : Running

Deep within the forest, rain poured down relentlessly, accompanied by the heavy, rhythmic thud of hurried footsteps. Someone was running for their life.

He had wild, yellow hair and eyes of a striking crimson-pink hue. His features were sharp, his jawline firm, and his clothes were soiled and torn, as if he had barely survived an explosion. Internally, he cursed his luck: 'Damn it! I should have thought before doing anything in this strange world. They are monsters, pure monsters!'

Suddenly, he sensed his pursuers drawing near. He was powerless, a mysterious paralysis gripping his limbs. There was no escape; his body had somehow been sealed by those strange individuals.

'What do I do? Think... think... find a solution! I barely escaped last time, and I don't think I can get away again the same way. Damn it! What should I do now?!'

Just then, two figures appeared, encircling him. The first was a hulking brute with broad shoulders and a shaven head. He growled, "Finally, we found you, you cursed insect! Say goodbye to your pathetic life!"

The other, a gaunt figure with long black hair and a body wrapped in bandages like a mummy, shrieked, "What are you doing?! Wait, don't kill him!"

"Shut up! I have to kill him before he escapes again."

"Do you want what happened last time to repeat itself, you fool?"

"Don't call me a fool, you cursed bald man!"

"I'm just saying, if we kill him now, our mission fails. Didn't you hear what the Boss said?"

"What? But this guy is extremely dangerous! I injected so much of my blue vitality into him, and I barely managed to temporarily paralyze him. I don't know if I can recover my strength in time if he escapes again..."

A brief silence fell as the Mummy pondered deeply, then finally spoke,

"It seems you aren't taking the Boss's words seriously. Listen, the Boss might be kind sometimes, but you don't know his true nature. If we fail, we'll die, and I certainly don't want to die, especially not by the Boss's hand. You understand, don't you?"

The brute considered his companion's words, a dark memory flashing through his mind. He recoiled in terror, thinking to himself, 'He's right. I really don't want to be caught, even by accident, by the Boss's strange power.'

"So, what's your plan, partner?"

"Oh, look! Baldy is finally using his brain instead of his muscles!"

"You!"

"Calm down, I'm just joking with you. I plan to knock him unconscious, then take him to the Boss. He will know what to do with him. After all, he's his son, isn't he?"

"You don't believe that nonsense, do you?"

"Oh, considering what happened there... well, forget I said anything."

All these exchanges lasted only moments. The yellow-haired youth heard everything, screaming internally:

'Damn it! I am not the son of that monster! I... I transmigrated into the body of that monster's son!'

It all happened in an instant. He remembered going to school as he did every day. During class, he had fallen asleep, a sleep unusually deep. But when he opened his eyes, he was facing that monster! Should he call him Father? What kind of father performs terrifying experiments on his own son? He is not human!

He had wished for death every moment of those experiments. But what is this world? That blue energy, people flying through the sky, strange weapons... Had he transmigrated into a novel? Was this a world of advanced technology and superpowers?

In that moment, lost in his thoughts, a shadow suddenly appeared and coalesced into a human form. His entire body was covered in a black robe, with curly red hair and dark crimson eyes from which blood seemed to drip!

[Hahaha! You're here. Why did you take so long to apprehend him?]
