The customer had just placed it there with a hopeless expression. The screen was completely destroyed, the frame bent, and pieces of glass were falling onto the desk.
Normally, Adam would reject this kind of repair immediately.
"This phone is finished," he would usually say.
But today was different.
Because inside his mind, a strange voice appeared again.

Adam froze.
The words were not coming from the phone.
They were coming from inside his head.
He slowly swallowed.

The customer crossed his arms and sighed.

Adam hesitated.

Adam blinked in disbelief.

"No way…" he whispered.
Three minutes later, Adam placed the final component back inside the phone.
He pressed the power button.
The screen lit up instantly.
Perfect.

No glitches.
The phone looked brand new.
The customer's jaw dropped.
"H-how did you do that?"
Adam leaned back in his chair, equally shocked.
"I… honestly don't know."
Inside his mind, the system voice returned.

"First Repair Successful."

Adam stared at the notification.
Points?
Before he could think further, another message appeared.

Adam slowly smiled.
