Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Trading Game Secrets for a Guaranteed Reward

Sheila stared at him in shock as her blue eyes widened at his crazy proposal, and the silence stretched out so long that Kai thought he was actually going to turn into a frozen statue right then and there.

Then a teasing smirk crept onto her beautiful face because she clearly found his audacity amusing instead of insulting, which was a huge relief for his survival chances.

"You are quite bold for a wanderer," Sheila said as she took another step closer to him, letting her soft curves brush right against his chest to test his nerve.

"But can you even handle me riding that little thing since you are so weak? Won't it break?"

Kai felt his face heat up as he looked down at her teasing smile and the obvious challenge in her eyes, so he cleared his throat to gather his gamer pride before he answered.

"Just because my stats are small right now doesn't mean I would break," Kai replied while trying to look confident and maintain eye contact with her instead of staring at her chest, "and anyway, let's focus on the matters at hand before we get to the fun part of our deal."

Sheila laughed in a sweet sound as she crossed her arms under her chest, pushing her cleavage up in a way that made Kai lose his entire train of thought for a solid three seconds.

"Alright then, little wanderer, so tell me how exactly you plan to help me get this vampire's heart since you seem so incredibly confident in your strategy," she challenged him while waiting for his grand plan to unfold.

Kai smirked because this was exactly where his deep game knowledge gave him a massive advantage over everyone else in this crazy world.

"The vampire who took the kids from your village is a guy named Damian, and he isn't hiding out in some dark, spooky castle like you probably think," Kai explained as he pointed towards the south path leading out of the forest.

"He is currently hiding in a human town nearby, specifically inside an abandoned factory right on the edge of the village, because he knows you wouldn't look for him among regular humans and their settlements."

Sheila looked genuinely impressed by his detailed knowledge, and her eyes sparkled with a mix of intense curiosity and newfound respect for the low-level guy standing in front of her.

"You really do know things that you shouldn't know, Kai," Sheila murmured as she tapped her chin thoughtfully while looking him up and down.

"I know exactly which human town you are talking about, so we should head there immediately before Damian decides to move his base and hide the younglings somewhere else."

Instead of walking down the dirt path like normal people, Sheila simply waved her elegant hand as frost gathered in the air and rapidly formed a massive slide of thick ice that looked exactly like a rollercoaster track winding through the tall trees.

"Hop on," she told him as she gracefully sat on the front of the smooth ice construct and patted the spot right behind her so he could join her.

Kai climbed on behind her, but he didn't realise how slippery the magical ice was until the track suddenly tilted forward and sent them shooting through the forest at crazy speeds.

"Hold on tight if you don't want to fall off and die!" Sheila yelled over the rushing wind as she leaned back right into him to brace herself against the sharp turns.

Kai wrapped his arms tightly around her waist to keep his balance, but the sudden drops and winding curves made her slide back so her perfectly round rear pressed firmly against his lap over and over again.

'Oh my god, being stuck inside an adult game is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me,' Kai thought to himself as he felt the soft friction of her body rubbing against him with every single bump on the long ice track.

Sheila definitely noticed his growing physical reaction against her lower back because she let out a teasing little laugh and intentionally swayed her hips as they took another sharp corner to make it even harder for him.

Her long silver hair blew right into his face, smelling like sweet vanilla and fresh winter snow, while Kai tried his absolute hardest to focus on not falling off the icy ride instead of just pulling her closer. The whole ride was a crazy mix of cold wind hitting his face and the incredible heat of her soft body grinding against him, so he really didn't want the journey to end anytime soon.

But the ride felt like it ended way too quickly when the ice track slowly leveled out and melted into a harmless white mist as they finally reached the dusty outskirts of the human village.

Kai stepped off the ride with totally shaky legs while trying his best to hide the obvious tent pitching in his jeans, and Sheila just gave him a knowing wink as she smoothed out her blue robe with a satisfied smirk on her face.

They started walking down the busy dirt roads of the bustling human town, but it became very clear very fast that a stunning woman like Sheila stood out like a sore thumb in this grimy place.

Every single man in the village stopped exactly what they were doing to stare at the Ice Witch with completely perverted gazes, and their greedy eyes were practically glued to the generous curves hidden under her elegant clothes as she walked past them.

Kai felt a sudden wave of annoyance and jealousy because he was the one who earned the bond points with her and made the deal, so he stepped a little closer to Sheila and glared back at the staring villagers to show them she was taken.

Sheila noticed his protective stance right away and smiled softly to herself, clearly enjoying the fact that her low-level companion was trying to act tough and claim her in front of all these strangers.

"Don't worry about them since my eyes are only on the prize right now, and you still have a promise to keep," she whispered to him in a husky voice, reminding him that his amazing reward was still waiting if he actually survived this boss fight.

They ignored the creepy villagers the rest of the way as they walked and reached the factory.
