A week later, school resumed.
But things had changed.
The Aetherbound students now had separate classes.
They studied elemental theory, combat training, and advanced tactics.
Meanwhile, normal students followed the usual academic schedule.
Harry was particularly interested in the combat classes. Ever since he was young, he had loved watching fighting shows with his grandfather.
Because of that, he had always admired martial artists and warriors.
Menorah International School had excellent facilities—training arenas, weapon halls, and instructors for many different fighting styles.
Harry was impressed.
However, some students in his class showed clear signs of jealousy and frustration.
After all, becoming Aetherbound was mostly a matter of luck.
But Harry believed something different.
Luck itself was also a skill.
Two days later, on Friday, a notice was posted.
It announced a special opportunity:
Non-Aetherbound students could participate in combat classes.
The program was meant to encourage self-defense, discipline, and sportsmanship.
Without hesitation, Harry signed up.
The class was scheduled for Sunday.
That evening, he told Ron about it.
Ron was excited for him.
But unfortunately, Ron studied at a different school and wouldn't be able to join.
