(scene: Eastside, sector 4.)
The chapter opens on a small two story cafe, dark wood exterior with a stone foundation. smoke dances out of the chimney. Inside, the soft metallic sound of a spoon stirring against a glass cup, a waitress preparing a drink. patted down red hair, an eyepatch over her left eye.
enter: makimi hakkido.
She pours tea for herself, only one costumer sits in the corner, mumbling to himself drunkenly under his breath.. the reek of cheap alcohol raising from him. Makimi sighs thinking to herself "another drunk.. people have nothing to do these days." the mans head snaps up suddenly- "eh..? you have a staring problem lady?" makimi doesn't respond, she just looks away. drunken man: "HEY. IM TALKIN TO YA." makimi glances into the back of the store.. "it really wont be good for you.." man: "OH YEAH!? YOU THINK IM SCARED OF YOU!?" makimi: "no.. not at all." the man shoots out his chair, coffee spilling. Makimi looks down at the liquid "oof. you really shouldn't do this.." man: "OH YEAH!? WHO THE HELL WILL STOP ME!?" *step* A heavy footstep presses against the wooden floor. A tall.. brolic shirtless man. a deep scar in his chest. black hair tied back into a bun. a defined 8 pack glistening. enter: "yobi kanzistan" Yobi: "Everything good in here, makimi?" makimi turns her head to the drunk.. who's now standing frozen. Makimi: "our friend here was a little rowdy, i think you helped him a bit, yobi." yobi smirks. drunken man: "U- YEAH!!" He rushes out, door slamming behind him. yobi: "tch. those drunks." makimi: "right." she walks to the back of the cafe.
(scene: THE GATES, sector 4.)
Two gates stand tall, a path leading through the forest. two guards stand by the gate. In the distance.. Aris and Kai approaching, Kai follows Aris through the gate, the guards not stopping them. Kai immediately feels the shift in air.. the difference. He looks around curiously as they make their way through west sector 4, Kai receiving measuring looks. Aris leans closer to Kai "don't try anything dumb here, red cherry.. in sector 5, im respected.. here is the same, but the other territory leaders have that same respect." Kai nods "Mm-hmm!' he rubs his stomach "man.. i am hungry..!" Aris rolls his eyes. Kai: "wanna grab a bite!?" Aris: "when we get home." Kai pouts "no fun.." Kai's wide eyes look around, thinking to himself "so this.. is sector 4.. i can't even believe i'm here.." He smirks, rushing forward, throwing his arms up dramatically. "IM HERE EVERYONE! KAI THE STRONGEST HAS ENTERED SECTOR 4!!!" Aris rushes over to him "HEY, WHAT THE HELL DID I TELL YOU, ASSHOLE?" he grabs kai, getting him under control. heads turning, confused, annoyed and judgeful eyes.
(Scene: sector 4.)
Aris drags Kai down an alleyway, then tosses him - *BAMMM* sending him flying into a wall. Aris: "i told you too keep your head low, idiot." Kai rubs his head "yeah, yeah! sorry!" he looks around "where are we..?" he sees two territory patrol members approaching Kai: "because.. there might be trouble." the patrol stop before them.. then- bow down..? "evening, captain." Kai's eyes widen "CAPTAIN!?" the two walk away, continuing their route. Aris smirks "its my territory." Kai: "wow.." Aris opens the door to the cafe, kai entering behind him.. inside, makimi greats Aris. "Captain! How's your day?" yobi enters "CAPTAIN! welcome home. hm? a new guy?" Aris: "get the other one." yobi nods "yes sir." he walks to the stairs. Kai looks around "what is this place..?" Aris turns, smirking. "welcome to Tetsukan. the root of my crew, my base". Kai smiles, thinking: "wow.. not only does he have his own territory.. but his own gang too.." his head lowers, sulking in the new realization. his fists close, eyes shadowed.. "im.. still so much behind." then.. a slight smirk forms at his lips. A hungry smirk.
