Dead meat... I'm dead, guys. The way Jay is staring at me.
"Ohhh, so they were talking, smiling, and waving at girls?" Freya asked while crossing her arms. Her eyes were locked on Percy.
His face went pale.
"The girls gave them flying kisses, and one of them winked at Kuya," Kegain said.
Jay shot me a death glare.
"Ate, I did the right thing by telling you, right?" Kegain asked while showing his puppy eyes.
"Yes, baby. I will take you to the playground and buy you new games," Jay said and ruffled his hair.
"Yes, Kegain. I will take you for ice cream," Freya said.
"Yeah, Kegain. I will also buy new games for you," Ella said.
"Yesss!" Kegain shouted and showed us his tongue.
Jay, Ella, and Freya came toward us and held our ears.
"You traitor, Kegain!" we all shouted at the same time.
Jay took me upstairs, and the others left for their homes.

"Keifer," Mom called me from behind. Kegain was hiding behind Mom, peeking at me.

I gulped and walked toward her with shaking legs.

She punched me on the jaw.
"Explain," she said.
I held my jaw.

She nodded and lay down.
Next Morning
I went to school with bruises on my jaw.
I spotted Aries and Percy.
Wow. They both had bruises too.
Aries had bruises on his cheek, and Percy had bruises near his eye.
We looked at each other and then heard laughter.
We turned and saw Yuri laughing while holding his stomach.
He even fell on the floor.
"Oh my God... look at your faces... oh God!" he laughed so hard that people started looking at us.
The three of us looked at each other and nodded.
And after ten minutes, all four of us had bruises.

We reached the classroom, and Sir Alvin came in.
Today Jay didn't come to school because Mom wasn't feeling well, so she was taking care of her.

"Room. Now!" she shouted and went upstairs.

After the lecture, I made a face like I was crying, and she melted.

When I went downstairs, I saw Kegain roaming around nervously.
"What happened?" I asked.
"Kuya, my friend is coming here for the first time. I'm so nervous. I like her," he said.

"Okay," I said and sat down on the couch.
"Keifer, I am going out shopping with Tita and Mama, okay?" Jay said.

We said goodbye, and she left.
Mom and Dad were in their room.
Then the doorbell rang, and Kegain's friend arrived.

"Hi, Lily," Kegain said and hugged her.
I raised an eyebrow when they broke the hug.
"Who is he? Your father?" she asked.
I choked on air.

I choked again and looked at him.
"Hehe... I was joking," Kegain said.
They both sat down.
The maid brought cookies and juice for them and left.
"Oh, Kegain, don't eat chocolate cookies. You can't digest them. You even pooped in your pants after eating cookies," I said.
The cookie fell from his hand, and he looked at me.
"Eww," Lily said.
"Kuya, I never did that!" Kegain said.

Then my phone buzzed.
I looked at the screen.
Jay was calling me.
"Yes, baby?" I said.
She told me to pick her up.

I left proudly.
I picked up Jay and reached home.

"Hey, it's raining. Keifer will drop you," she said.
I looked at her.

"Okay, let's go," she said and held my hand.

I shut my mouth.
After the lecture, she finally left the room.
I flopped onto the bed dramatically.
My life was hard.

Kegain was standing near the kitchen drinking juice.

he laughed and ran upstairs.
I stood there frozen.
Completely frozen.
I should have kept my mouth shut.
I should have let Lily think whatever she wanted.
I should have never told her the truth.
Now I got lectured twice in one day.
Meanwhile, Kegain was happily living his best life.
I stared at the ceiling.
