Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Girl Who Spoke to the Moon

In a quiet village surrounded by green hills and whispering forests lived a young girl named Aarohi. The village was peaceful, but life there was simple and ordinary. People woke up with the sun, worked in the fields, and slept soon after the night fell. But Aarohi was different.

Every night, when the entire village was asleep, Aarohi would walk up a small hill behind her house. At the top of the hill stood an old banyan tree whose roots twisted deep into the earth like ancient secrets. Beneath that tree she would sit quietly, gazing at the moon.

The villagers often whispered about her strange habit. Some thought she was lonely, while others believed she was simply dreaming too much.

But Aarohi didn't mind.

To her, the moon felt alive. It was the only thing that listened when she spoke.

Ever since her parents passed away years ago, Aarohi had lived alone in a small wooden cottage. Though the villagers were kind, the emptiness in her heart never truly disappeared.

So every night she would speak softly to the moon.

She told it about her day, her dreams, and the strange feeling that her life was meant for something greater than the quiet village.

One particular night, the moon shone brighter than usual. The sky looked deeper and the stars sparkled like scattered diamonds.

As Aarohi sat beneath the banyan tree, a gentle wind moved through the leaves.

Then something strange happened.

A silver glow began to fall from the sky like glowing petals drifting slowly in the air. The light surrounded Aarohi and danced around her feet.

Her heart started beating faster.

Then she heard a faint voice carried by the wind.

"Aarohi…"

She stood up quickly and looked around.

"Who's there?" she asked.

But the hill was empty.

The glowing lights slowly faded away, leaving only the moon shining silently above.

Aarohi stared at the sky with wonder.

Somewhere deep inside her heart, she felt that this night was not ordinary.

Something magical had just begun.
