Chapter 1 - chapter:1

Well, who would've thought? It's been two years since I transmigrated to this world—more precisely, the One Piece world. Before being transmigrated here, I was a regular guy with one ambition: not dying as a nobody. So I studied hard, maybe too hard, but I didn't care. I wanted to be famous and respected.

So I studied to become a doctor. At first, and guess what? I was trash. Yeah, I was trash at being a doctor. So I tried something else I was also bad at: being a mangaka. But even though I was bad at it, I still created a good manga. Maybe I'm not a good mangaka, but I did create a good story.

And the main part of that story was my Devil Fruit. It was a special fruit made for my character. Its name was the Neko Neko no Mi, Model: Nemean Lion. It was a Mythical Zoan. It gave the user extreme speed, extreme strength, and near invulnerability. It also had the power to control earth and metal.

So when I got transmigrated, I received a system. It was a summon system where I could summon whoever I wanted, and I got this Devil Fruit as a welcome gift.

"System, how many fame points do I have?" I asked the system.

Soon, a window appeared. It said:

Name: Regulus

Profession: Pirate

Bounty: 420,000,000

Devil Fruit: Neko Neko no Mi, Model: Nemean Lion

Armament Haki: 2

Observation Haki: 2

Conqueror's Haki: 3

Weapon: None

Fame Points: 100,000,000

After I heard how many fame points I had, I thought, let's see who I can summon.

"Hey system, let's start summoning."

As I said this, the system asked, "How many fame points do you want to use?"

I casually said, "I'll use 30,000,000 for the first summon."

As I finished saying this, I saw the system start summoning someone in front of me. I started hoping it would be someone strong, or at least someone useful, because this would be my second-in-command.

As I saw the light fade, the person standing in front of me was Jack Hanma.

When I saw Jack Hanma as my first summon, I was happy. As I saw this guy, my system showed me his stats and panel.

Name: Jack Hanma

Profession: Soon to be Pirate

Bounty: None

Devil Fruit: None

Armament Haki: 2

Observation Haki: 1

Conqueror's Haki: Unawakened

Weapon: Titanium Teeth

"Welcome, Jack Hanma, to this world where the powerful rule and the weak hide. You should be my second-in-command."

Jack just looked at me with wide eyes, and I think I know why. It's probably because I'm as tall as he is—243 cm tall, or 7'11". I'm easily one head taller than him.

He asked, "What do you mean by 'welcome to this world'? Do you mean I'm in another world? And how are you so tall?"

I just laughed, and after having a good laugh I said, "I'm naturally tall. You'll get used to it. I'm average in this world."

"Oh yes, you are in another world—a world full of pirates and marines. In this world, only the strongest rule."

Jack looked baffled by my comment about my height being average and digested the rest. Then he smiled a devilish smile.

"If what you say is true, then tell me why I should follow you," he said.

I just smiled and said, "If you want to know why, then I should let you know."

I said this while cracking my bones.

"I'll let you know with overwhelming strength why I am the captain of the Berserk Pirates."

Jack just smirked at me and then launched himself forward, throwing a massive uppercut that I blocked. Then he followed with an overhand punch that landed, and after that he followed up with a bite straight at my shoulder.

Jack started thinking, "He wants to be my captain? Someone like this doesn't have the power to be my captain."

Jack was brought back from his thoughts when he felt that he couldn't bite through my shoulder.

I just looked at him with a smile and said, "My turn."

With that, I struck his face with a palm strike, knocking him back down, and followed with an overhand punch that landed on his face, sending him crashing into a rock.

He got up and looked at me, confused that his bite couldn't damage me. But I didn't give him a moment to think. I lunged forward,

grabbed his face, and drove him downward with so much force that I made a crater with his body and made him gasp for air.

And for the finishing blow, I landed a barrage of punches, knocking him down.

Five minutes later, Jack slowly began to wake up. He pushed himself out of the crater, his body aching but his eyes still burning with determination. He looked at me standing there calmly, waiting.

Without saying a word, Jack rushed at me again.

He threw a powerful straight punch aimed at my chest, followed by a quick hook to my jaw. But this time I didn't move back. I simply stepped to the side and blocked the punch with one hand.

Before he could react, I drove my knee straight into his stomach.

The impact forced the air out of his lungs, and his body bent forward. I followed immediately with a downward punch to the back of his head, slamming him straight into the ground.

The ground cracked beneath him.

Jack tried to push himself up again, but I grabbed him by the collar and lifted him slightly before delivering a single heavy punch to his face.

His body went limp and dropped to the ground even faster than before.

This time, the fight ended much quicker.

Jack woke up again a few minutes later, lying on the cracked ground. His body ached from the beating, but his mind was clear. He slowly pushed himself up and sat there for a moment, looking at the crater around him.

Then his eyes moved to me, still standing calmly in the same place.

For a few seconds, Jack stayed silent. Then he let out a short laugh.

"So this is what real strength looks like," he said while wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth.

He stood up slowly, his tall frame straightening as he faced me.

"You knocked me down twice… and the second time was even faster," Jack admitted.

He looked at me for a moment longer before speaking again.

"Fine."

Jack lowered his head slightly.

"You're stronger than me. From now on, you're my captain."

He cracked his neck and gave a small grin.

"Just make sure you keep getting stronger… Captain. I didn't come to this world to follow someone weak."

I simply looked at him and nodded.

With that, the first member of the Berserk Pirates had joined.

Regulus looked at Jack for a moment before turning his attention back to the system.

"System," he said calmly, "let's do another summon."

A faint window appeared in front of him again.

Fame Points: 70,000,000

Regulus crossed his arms and thought for a moment before speaking again.

"Use 150,000 fame points for the next summon."

The system responded instantly.

A bright light appeared a few meters in front of Regulus and Jack. The air around them began to shake slightly as the light grew stronger.

Jack narrowed his eyes, watching carefully.

"Another one?" he muttered.

The light slowly began to fade, revealing the figure of a tall, muscular man standing calmly in the center of the fading glow.

Golden hair, a powerful build, and the calm eyes of a seasoned fighter.

The system window appeared again.

Jack looked at the man and then back at Regulus.

"So this is another one of your summons?"

Regulus smiled slightly.

Standing in front of them was Alexander Volg Zangief.

Regulus barely glanced at Jack and Alexander. Instead, he turned his attention back to the system window floating in front of him.

"System," he said calmly, "start another summon."

But Regulus was already speaking again.

The ground seemed to tremble as an enormous man appeared from the light, his body built like solid steel.

Regulus barely acknowledged him.

The final light appeared, and when it faded, a quiet man dressed in white winter gear stood there, holding a rifle.

Devil Fruit: None

Armament Haki: 2

Observation Haki: 4

Conqueror's Haki: None

Silence filled the area as the last summon appeared.

Now several powerful fighters stood together, all summoned within minutes.

Regulus finally looked at them all.

His crew was beginning to take shape.

Regulus finally looked at the group gathered in front of him. Ten powerful figures now stood there, each observing their surroundings in silence or curiosity.

He crossed his arms and spoke calmly.

"You're probably wondering where you are."

Most of them turned their attention to him. Jack already knew the answer, so he stayed silent.

"You're no longer in your original world," Regulus continued. "This is another world entirely."

Takamura raised an eyebrow, while Biscuit Oliva simply watched with interest. Musashi Miyamoto stood quietly, listening.

"This world is ruled by power," Regulus said. "Pirates sail the seas chasing freedom,

treasure, and glory. The Marines hunt them down in the name of justice. There are also powerful individuals known as the Seven Warlords and the Four Emperors who rule the seas."

He paused for a moment before continuing.

"Strength decides everything here. The strong rule, and the weak hide or get crushed."

Arthur Pendragon looked thoughtful, while Ricardo Martinez calmly processed the information.

Regulus then continued.

"You were all summoned by me through a special ability I possess. From this moment on, you are members of my crew."

He looked around at each of them.

"The name of this crew is the Berserk Pirates."

Jack crossed his arms with a grin, already accepting the situation.

Musashi remained calm, his sharp eyes studying Regulus carefully.

Simo Häyhä stood silently, observing everything around him.

Regulus then spoke again.

"If anyone here has a problem with following me, you can step forward now."

The air became quiet as the newly summoned warriors considered his words.

For a moment, silence filled the area after Regulus finished speaking.

Then three figures stepped forward.

The first was Biscuit Oliva. The massive man rolled his shoulders, his enormous muscles shifting as he looked directly at Regulus with a confident smile.

Next to him stepped Mamoru Takamura, stretching his neck as if preparing for a match.

The third to step forward was Alexander Volg Zangief. Unlike the other two, he remained calm, his eyes focused and serious.

Oliva spoke first.

"So you're saying you brought us to another world and now expect us to follow you?" he said with a relaxed grin. "You must be a confident man."

Takamura cracked his knuckles.

"Yeah," he said. "If we're going to be pirates under you, you better prove you're strong enough."

Alexander didn't say anything at first. He simply looked at Regulus carefully before speaking in a calm voice.

"If strength decides everything in this world, then it's only fair to test the strength of the one who calls himself captain."

Behind them, Jack smirked, already knowing how this would end.

Musashi Miyamoto watched quietly with interest, while Arthur and Ricardo observed without moving.

Simo Häyhä remained silent, standing slightly apart as he calmly watched the situation unfold.

Oliva crossed his arms.

"So, Captain," he said, emphasizing the word slightly, "show us why we should follow you."

Regulus looked at the three men standing in front of him. For a brief moment, he said nothing.

Then something changed.

An overwhelming pressure suddenly exploded from his body.

A dark, invisible wave spread in every direction as Regulus released his Conqueror's Haki for the first time.

The air itself seemed to grow heavy.

Alexander Volg Zangief was the first to react. His eyes widened as the pressure crashed down on him. His legs trembled before he dropped to one knee.

Mamoru Takamura tried to resist, clenching his teeth as sweat ran down his face. But the pressure was too much, and he was forced to kneel as well.

Ricardo Martinez remained calm, but even he could not remain standing. After a moment, he slowly lowered himself to one knee under the crushing presence.

Behind them, Biscuit Oliva gritted his teeth. His massive body shook as he struggled to remain upright.

"Tch… what the hell is this pressure…?" he muttered.

Jack Hanma stood nearby, his muscles tense as he forced himself to stay on his feet, though it was clear the pressure was affecting him.

Not far away, Musashi Miyamoto stood completely still. His sharp eyes shined with interest as he felt the overwhelming will spreading through the area.

Beside him, Simo Häyhä watched quietly, clearly impressed.

The invisible pressure slowly faded as Regulus stopped releasing his Haki.

The ground was silent again.

Regulus looked at all of them calmly before speaking.

"Do you all still believe I don't have what it takes to be your captain?"

The pressure from Regulus's Conqueror's Haki slowly disappeared, and the air became lighter again.

Alexander Volg Zangief, Mamoru Takamura, and Ricardo Martinez slowly stood up from their knees. Biscuit Oliva rolled his

shoulders, while Jack relaxed his stance.

Musashi Miyamoto remained calm, and Simo Häyhä continued observing silently.

Regulus looked at them and began speaking.

"What you just felt is called Haki."

The group focused their attention on him

"In this world, there are three main types of Haki. They are powers that come from a person's will."

He raised one finger.

"The first is Observation Haki. It allows you to sense the presence of others, feel their intentions, and sometimes even predict their movements."

He raised a second finger.

"The second is Armament Haki. It allows you to harden your body or your weapons with your will, greatly increasing your attack and defense."

Then he raised a third finger.

"The last one is Conqueror's Haki. Very few people in this world possess it. It is the power of a king—the ability to overwhelm others with your will."

He looked at the group.

"Only those with the qualities of a king can use it."

Takamura crossed his arms while listening. Alexander and Ricardo remained serious, carefully processing the information.

Musashi's eyes narrowed slightly with interest.

Regulus continued.

"There is another power in this world called a Devil Fruit. Whoever eats one gains a special ability, but in exchange they lose the ability to swim."

He paused briefly.

"In this world, pirates sail across the seas searching for treasure known as the One Piece."

Regulus looked at all of them.

"And we will be one of the crews sailing those seas."

Regulus looked at all of them after finishing his explanation.

For a moment, no one spoke.

Then he continued.

"But we're not doing this for treasure."

That made several of them look at him more closely.

"My goal isn't gold or fame," Regulus said calmly. "My goal is to rule the seas as the strongest."

The words hung heavily in the air.

"And for that," he continued, "I need the strongest crew."

His gaze moved across each of them—Jack Hanma, Alexander Volg Zangief, Mamoru Takamura, Arthur Pendragon, Ricardo Martinez, Biscuit Oliva, Musashi Miyamoto, and Simo Häyhä.

"I didn't summon you by accident," he said. "Each of you has the potential to become monsters in this world."

Jack smirked.

Musashi remained silent but interested.

Oliva crossed his arms with a confident grin.

Regulus finished with a simple statement.

"The world will learn the name of our crew."

"The Berserk Pirates."
