Chapter 1 - Tlandar's Birth

Tlandar was born in Verdantis Nexus, Val'katl Dominion. It was an small, agricultural village, located in the outskirts of New Asemeri. Tlandar was the son of Almira Sareth, his mother, a temsek, and of Kaelis Varn, his father, asemeri. As Tlandar grew up in his parents' farm, he was educated in his house by Crimson Order itinerant teachers, whom Almira hired. One of them was a female asemtek Crimson Order priestess, itinerant, who taught the child the way of harmony, as well as writing, sciences and art and other important life skills. Her name was Akashma Xil'ha. She was in her early thirties when she began teaching the boy.

Then, Tlandar became well skilled in farm work and became well-learned in everything that the itinerant priestess of Salgar had taught him. Tlandar worked his family's farm as he grew up to his teens, and took care of his parents' farm animals, like their cattle, sheep, horses, their zarok (domesticated, herbivorous dinosaurs). The Varn family was rich in cattle, sheep, cows, oxen, chickens and various types of farm zaroks. One of this errands included herding the family cattle to its pastures and back to the pens. Their farm hands helped them work the farm, and cropped all their high quality, exotic fruits and vegetables for selling and exporting outside of Verdantis Nexus.

The Spirit of Astashica Appears

The Sanctum of Orchids, in Salgar Dominion, was an small, mountain sanctuary-fortress, located by a trading outpost, high in the Salgaran mountains. There, the Crimson Order priestesses (who were also scholars) studied ancient books as they seated in quiet contemplation. Suddenly, the Spirit of Astashica appeared before them. The high priestess, Akashma Xil'ha, now in her forties, and the rest of the pristesses, rose up, stood up astounded, listening attentively to what Astashica had to say. The Spirit of Astashica was also a hologram, and began to speak. "I am the Spirit of Astashica. I represent a collective of beings known as the Ancient Archerons, who retreated to a deep, underground city. I speak for them as they are unable to speak for themselves at the moment. They are sentient beings who inhabited this planet long before your present generation. But the new Astashicans has forgotten them. They were highly advanced, surpassing the need to possess a pure physical vessel. They had suffered a great plague years ago. They embraced their new cybernetic living robot bodies, while preserving their consciousness, in living but artificial brains in their metallic bodies. So they withdrew to inside giant underground caverns in Astashica for survival." Astashica paused.

She continued. "I was then born, created with care, to preserve their collective consciousness, and I enjoy serving them faithfully. I speak in behalf of them; I am the representation of the entire planet Astashica. We were patient, waiting for the rightful time to meet you once again. Because we descend from your specie. You descend from Oasis as well, and part of you is good, your human part. But your bad part, your most evil part, is beast. You still posses this dark side, which, as a more advance race, cannot forgive. Your military actions have attracted our attention. As we became care caretakers of this wonderful planet, we want to help you become peaceful, so you don't perish by your own hand, and even destroy the planet. Amongst your prophecies and ancient mythologies, exist the Oracle of the Aurora Ascendant. Retrieve it from your archives. It prophesized the rise of Tlandar, one who is just and will save Astashica from extinction. Search this boy, who lives in Verdantis Nexus, and bring him to Chieftain Salgar, so he can become mighty pilot of the Formicron mecha.

We conclude this message. May be well with you all in love and peace." Astashica said.

"Such an epic odyssey! But how can we carry out this formidable task?" Akashma Xil'ha said.

"First, I will activate the ancient Xhalak mechanical constructs which been lying dormant deep in the planet's mantle. They will rise up to the surface, where they will power up, begin to heat the underground rocky layer of the planet. They will melt the iron core of the planet, and the planet will once again, begin to revolve in its own axis, just like Oasis; there will be real day and night. No moer will the planet be tidal-locked. The Xhalaks will transpire hot air in the form of gases, mist and clouds and create an electromagnetic enclosure around the planet; a new atmosphere will emerge forever. As for how to accomplish the task that I am asking you to do, you should form a task force, to search and find the asemtek boy Tlandar, who works in his family farm in Verantis Nexus. He is the one from prophecy that shall rise up, and lead the last asemeri survivors. He will protect the planet and redeem them from imminent destruction and extinction. Bring him to Chieftain Salgar as soon as possible. Give him anythin he needs, so that he will be able fulfill the prophecy," Astashica said. Then Astashica disappeared.

Akashma Xil'ha and the rest of the Crimson Order priestesses bowed their heads.

"We'll do everything we can. We mus protect from Chieftain Cosmus and imminent destruction. Well seek the Protector all over the planet," Akashma said.

"This is gravely serious", one of the priestess said. "Cosmus wants to wipe us all out! We must find this boy!" the priestess said.

"I'll go with Kaelor to find him," Akashma said. "Prepare my equipment and traveling bag; tell Chieftain Salgar about the message Astashica gave us; tell her that I must go out quickly and there's no time to waste," Akashma said to her priestesses. Then she left, and went to her living quarters to prepare for the journey.
