Chapter 2 - Magic Wand

Kenzo continued staring out the window long after the Ancient One had left.

The night was quiet.

Too quiet.

Far below the mountains where their residence stood, cities shimmered like scattered stars. The modern world had grown loud and bright, yet the wizarding world remained hidden behind it.

Kenzo carefully folded the letter from Hogwarts.

For centuries, the Otsutsuki family had avoided direct involvement with the younger generations of magical institutions.

But now, things were changing.

Britain had always been… unstable.

The rise of Voldemort had proven that. And even though the war had ended, the roots of that darkness had never truly disappeared.

Dumbledore knew that.

That was why he had sent the invitation.

Kenzo exhaled slowly.

"Hogwarts…"

Behind him, Zetsu was still scribbling enthusiastically in his notebook.

"Let's see… Diagon Alley bakery, Honeydukes shipping contacts, bookstore, and maybe that magical pet shop—"

Kenzo glanced over his shoulder.

"Zetsu."

"Yes, Father?"

"You are not the one attending Hogwarts."

Zetsu froze.

"…That's discrimination."

Kenzo ignored the complaint.

Instead, he walked across the room and picked up a small wooden box resting on the table.

Inside it was an old ring.

The symbol engraved on its surface was ancient.

The crest of the Otsutsuki.

Kenzo looked at it quietly.

This ring had once belonged to his grandfather. The last time it had been worn was during the war against Grindelwald.

After that war ended, the Order had once again faded into the shadows.

Until recently.

Kenzo closed the box.

"Zetsu."

"Yes?"

"Prepare the portal coordinates to London for tomorrow."

Zetsu's eyes immediately lit up.

"Oh! So we're going tomorrow?!"

"Yes. Tomorrow."

Zetsu grinned widely.

"Diagon Alley… it's been a long time since we visited."

He leaned back and stretched.

"I wonder how Ollivander will react when he realizes who ordered that wand."

Kenzo said nothing.

But a faint smile appeared.

Ollivander.

The man was… interesting.

His family had crafted wands for over two thousand years. Very few people in the wizarding world understood the nature of magical cores better than he did.

Kenzo had placed his wand order years ago.

But the final process still required his presence.

A wand must choose its owner.

"Get some rest, Zetsu."

Zetsu stretched again.

"Tomorrow will be fun."

He grinned mischievously.

"Diagon Alley might panic."

Kenzo chuckled softly.

"Yes."

A brief silence followed.

Then he spoke quietly.

"And Hogwarts…"

For the first time in centuries—

An Otsutsuki would return to Hogwarts.

---

Morning arrived quietly over London.

A thin mist drifted above the old streets as the city slowly woke. Cars moved along the roads, unaware of the hidden world that existed beside them.

Inside a quiet courtyard behind an ordinary brick building, an orange portal suddenly opened.

Swish.

Kenzo stepped out calmly.

Behind him, Zetsu popped out of the ground like a plant.

"We're here!" Zetsu said cheerfully.

Kenzo glanced around.

They stood behind the familiar entrance to the wizarding marketplace.

The Leaky Cauldron.

The old pub looked exactly the same as it had centuries ago. A slightly crooked building wedged between two normal shops, invisible to Muggles.

Kenzo walked inside.

The moment he entered, several wizards glanced in his direction. Some recognized him.

Others didn't.

But something about his presence felt… strange.

Heavy.

Zetsu leaned closer to Kenzo and whispered loudly,

"Father, they're staring at you."

Kenzo ignored him.

At the back of the pub stood the familiar brick wall.

Kenzo tapped several bricks in a precise sequence.

Click.

The bricks began to shift.

Rumble.

The wall slowly opened, revealing the hidden magical street beyond.

Diagon Alley.

The street was already alive with activity.

Owls screeched from cages. Wizards hurried between shops. Students prepared for the upcoming Hogwarts term.

Zetsu's eyes sparkled.

"Ahhh, I missed this place!"

He immediately began writing in his notebook again.

"Bakery… bookstore… wand shop… candy store…"

Kenzo sighed.

"We're not here for tourism."

Zetsu grinned.

"Hehehe."

They walked down the street.

Some shopkeepers paused when they saw Kenzo. A few older witches whispered quietly.

"…Is that—?"

"…Impossible…"

"…An Otsutsuki?"

Kenzo ignored the whispers.

Eventually they stopped in front of a narrow shop.

The wooden sign above the door read:

Ollivanders — Makers of Fine Wands Since 382 B.C.

The shop looked small.

But inside, thousands of wand boxes filled the walls from floor to ceiling.

Kenzo pushed the door open.

Cling.

A small bell rang.

The shop was silent.

Then a soft voice echoed from the shadows.

"Ah…"

A thin old man slowly stepped forward. His pale silver eyes gleamed with curiosity.

Garrick Ollivander.

"I have been waiting for you, young Mr. Otsutsuki."

Zetsu blinked.

"Oh. He knows."

Ollivander smiled faintly.

"Of course I do. Your family is one of the oldest magical lineages. And you entrusted the creation of your wand to me."

He studied Kenzo carefully. "Your order finally arrived after many years of waiting."

He turned and walked between the towering shelves. "But wandmaking is not simply crafting wood and core."

He pulled out a long black box.

"It is about destiny."

He placed the box on the table.

The air inside the shop suddenly felt heavier.

Even Zetsu stopped talking.

Ollivander slowly opened the box.

Inside rested a beautiful wand.

Dark wood.

Elegant.

Ancient.

"Wood from the Divine Tree," Ollivander said softly.

"And a core unlike anything I have ever used before."

Kenzo raised an eyebrow slightly.

"Hmm?"

Ollivander's silver eyes shone.

"A fragment of crystallized chakra… given by your father."

Zetsu gasped.

"Wait, you used that?!"

Ollivander nodded proudly.

"Yes."

He lifted the wand carefully.

"I have made thousands of wands in my lifetime."

He handed it to Kenzo.

"But this one…"

His voice dropped to a whisper.

"…may become the strongest wand ever created."

Kenzo took it.

For a moment—

Nothing happened.

Then suddenly—

WHOOM.

A wave of magic exploded outward.

The entire shop trembled.

Wand boxes rattled. Candles flickered violently.

Outside, several wizards in Diagon Alley stopped walking.

They turned toward the shop.

"What was that?"

Inside Ollivanders, Zetsu stared in awe.

"…Whoa."

The wand glowed faintly in Kenzo's hand.

Perfect balance.

Perfect resonance.

Ollivander slowly smiled.

"Yes…"

"The wand has chosen you."

Kenzo looked at it quietly.

Then he made a small flicking motion.

A single spark of golden magic shot across the room.

The shelves instantly stabilized.

The trembling stopped.

Complete control.

Ollivander chuckled softly.

"Remarkable."

Outside the shop, whispers began spreading through Diagon Alley.

"The magic just now…"

"It came from Ollivanders."

"…Is someone powerful inside?"

A few older witches exchanged nervous glances.

One of them whispered quietly.

"…An Otsutsuki."

Back inside the shop, Zetsu grinned widely.

"This is going to cause chaos."

Kenzo placed the wand back into its box.

Then he said calmly,

"Let's finish the rest of the shopping."

Zetsu laughed.

"Oh… Hogwarts might become very interesting this year."
