Chapter 32 - Chapter 32: The Dance of the Emerald Thorn

The town of Tanzaku Quarters fell into a chilling silence as Sakura Haruno stood before the legendary Sannin. In the original timeline, this would have been a moment of negotiation and a clash of ninja ideals. But with the influence of the Hogyoku and Aizen's grooming, the "weakest" member of Team 7 had become a harbinger of a new evolution.

The Shattering of the Sannin

Jiraiya bit his thumb and slammed his hand onto the ground. "Summoning Jutsu: Toad Mouth Bind!" The interior of the tavern began to transform into the fleshy, pulsating stomach of a giant toad from Mount Myoboku. "I don't know what Aizen did to you, Sakura, but I'm bringing you home!"

Sakura didn't even blink. She closed her eyes and released her Reiatsu. The sheer weight of her spiritual pressure caused the toad's flesh to wither and turn to gray ash instantly.

"Home is a concept for those who fear the horizon, Jiraiya-san," Sakura said softly. She reached for the hilt of her Zanpakuto—a blade hidden beneath her white cloak. "Shatter, Midori-no-Ibara (Emerald Thorn)."

The air filled with the scent of cherry blossoms, but these petals were razor-sharp shards of spiritual energy. Tsunade roared, charging forward with her legendary strength, her fist glowing with chakra.

"Bakudo #39: Enkosen!"

A golden shield of light flickered into existence. Tsunade's fist, which could shatter mountains, struck the shield and stopped dead. The shockwave of her own punch traveled back through her arm, cracking her own bones.

"Impossible..." Tsunade gasped, blood dripping from her knuckles. "My strength... it's being negated!"

"It isn't being negated," Sakura explained, her voice as calm as a summer breeze. "It is being absorbed. Your physical energy is too dense and slow to touch the frequency of the Soul."

The Awakening of the Slug Queen

Orochimaru emerged from the shadows, his eyes burning with envy. "So, this is Aizen's masterpiece? A Genin turned into a god? I must have your body, Sakura-kun!"

He launched his Hidden Shadow Snake Hands, but Sakura moved in a blur of Shunpo (High-Speed Movement). She appeared behind Orochimaru and tapped his shoulder.

"Hado #54: Haien (Abolition Flame)."

A blast of purple fire erupted from her hand. Orochimaru screamed as his arm was incinerated instantly—not just the flesh, but the spiritual connection to his soul. He couldn't regenerate it. The wound was permanent.

Tsunade looked at her former teammate and the girl who used to cry over Sasuke. She saw the truth in Sakura's eyes—the same silver-violet void that now defined the new world.

"Tsunade-sama," Sakura said, extending a hand. "The Leaf is a dying tree. Why protect its roots when you can walk among the stars? Join us in Las Noches. Heal the wounds of the past and become the mother of a new species."

Jiraiya prepared his Rasengan, but he felt a hand on his shoulder. It was Aizen. He had appeared silently, his presence so vast that the entire town felt like it was being submerged in an ocean.

"Let her choose, Jiraiya," Aizen whispered. "Choice is the ultimate luxury I give to the talented."
