Sunny knew from experience that these creatures wouldn't let one of their own Tyrants fight a Titan all by itself. That meant he might draw the ire of all the Tyrants in the area.
So, he wouldn't show that level of strength.
Sunny stood at the edge of the Burned Forest. He looked over the barrows with an intense expression. Although he was prepared for defeat, it was always disappointing going into a battle knowing that you'll lose.
Taking a deep breath, Sunny's shadow became larger and larger, in an instant, an army appeared out of nowhere. Summoning his shadow cohort, as the generals, Sunny was prepared.
He wrapped three of his shadows around himself, instantly feeling the strength of a Supreme Devil. With his aspect, obviously, he could defeat any creature of this rank and class.
Sunny wrapped the rest of the shadows onto Serpent. Which would play an equally important role in this battle.
The army marched forward. King Daeron was also one of the generals in the battle. His task, along with the others, was to ensure they brought peace to these lands once more.
Looking around as his army marched, Sunny once again took in the land. The sea of black pillars were all the same. Everything was astronomically large here.
Once more, he thought of the Heart God, the God of growth, souls, memories, and souls. Everything was larger here, and the people that once populated this land were humonguous deserving their own race. He thought about how the Doom War destroyed everything.
It was a pity. Everything was lost, and progress nearly turned to zero. Although those visitors who would come once again seemed to have access to the knowledge of the past. Sunny always pondered why the War Realm was so isolated.
How could the Gods and Daemons blame Weaver when the War God had not included her realm in the war? The very Goddess of War. Not only that, but it seemed that there was no knowledge whatsoever about these Gods and Daemons in this realm.
Sunny had never found pieces of the War God Realm in the Dream Realm. This proved that it wasn't swallowed up yet, well, other than LO49, but that was later.
It was also strange how the waking world rejected those in the Supreme, Sacred, and Unholy ranks.
Sunny wanted to limit test in the waking world and run some experiments, but now was not the time for such thoughts. It's just that he never had time. The first sights of the millipedes were spotted.
Sunny led his army at the forefront. He wouldn't create a shell or manifest himself into a different form. Today, he would go back to the basics. Adopting a flowing sword, Sunny added his death will to Serpents, and with the other three supreme shadows wrapped on the blade, Sunny swung it at the first millipede.
There was no resistance. The vertical slash wasn't impeded in the slightest. As a matter of fact, it seemed to speed up. Sunny expertly changed his grip and flashed his sword back up once, then down. Its speed was frightening.
Sunny's blows were so precise that the creature didn't split into three immediately.
Considering when Dodging the corpses had started became an art, Sunny weaved past and continued to use the flowing sword. He never slowed down and only ever increased his speed.
He was like an arrowhead for his army. That was when he first spotted a Great Devil. The Tyrant most likely threw him to test Sunny, but in an instant, the shadows came alive. All the directions shadow spikes were sent out to impale it.
However, as if it were an illusion, the blows seemed to slow for a moment, giving the Devil some leeway. It was about to start chopping away at the spikes, but what it didn't notice was that Sunny, enshrouded in [Weaver's Mask], shadow stepped behind one of the javelins. In its blind spot.
Serpent had changed form as well. Becoming a long lance. Using one arm Sunny thrusted as a hole formed in its head. The creature's mandibles were twitching wildly, its entire thrashing about, but in just a moment it became silent.
[You have slain a Great Devil]
Sunny looked afar at the burrow, he knew now that if he killed their general, the Tyrant would most likely show its face. No, maybe it wouldn't, so Sunny taunted. Behind him, a new shade appeared. It was the Great Devil. Sunny sent a simple command, and it started to reap lives.
Goliath and the defiled seeker were also destroying creatures at an increased rate. Sunny was limited in what he could do. If he truly went rampant and used all his powers, he would be attacked by multiple tyrants.
So instead, he limited himself to making it seem like the battle was more like a stalemate. But his side was weaker, so he pushed himself to equalize the battle.
The Tyrant never showed up on the first day. It was more cunning than Sunny gave it credit for. It held back reserve and finished the battle. Sunny quietly retreated. Although there was a smile on his face.
"Delaying the inevitable, it doesn't know yet that my army regenerates." Sunny thought.
That was okay. When he showed up around twenty-five hours again with his army refreshed, he knew he would get what he wanted. For Sunny, it was only a matter of time until he got what he wanted.
Instead, he summoned Mimic. The makeshift mansion was created. One upon a time, this used to be a memory bouquet that served food. Now it has just used to create memories with no customers. He momentarily thought of Aiko. He would have to visit her sometimes.
In the battle that just occurred, he managed to at least deny them of their dead. The memory he had given Mimic helped with that. Sunny removed the materials he would use to create memories and all the shards. Summoning Fiend.
He had a skeptical look on his face. He didn't receive too much damage, but he was now still a Transcended Demon. A long way from the Great Devil he once was. The same stood true for Nightmare. But he was collecting plenty of dreams currently.
"Dinners on me, you big oaf, eat your fill!" A maddening glint appeared in his eyes, and the Imp started to devour the corpses.
Sunny was in the basement of the mansion, well, that was putting it lightly. It was more like a castle. He summoned Mimic in a smaller form when he took the corpses in the earlier battle.
Now the entire basement floor was filled with corpses.
Looking over to Fiend, he said
"I don't want you leave a single scrap." And for a moment, Fiend slowed his chewing and, for the first time, was daunted, but he accepted the challenge freely.
Sunny chuckled. Truly, this fiend had no limit.
