In a apartment studio room where Darnil was currently sleeping on his bed
Darnil just woke up as he slowly opening his eyes and saw the unfamiliar celling and surrondings
The wallpaper and chandelier hanging on the ceiling is all just telling him that his at a unfamiliar place
Darnil looked around and saw lots people scattered all over the luxury looking floors
People are also waking up and sitting up realising they were in a unfamiliar place
The place looked like a luxury hotel, is so wide and large it looked like it could even fit lots elephant inside and still able to fit lots more
When Darnil finally woken up completely he sit up and said "where am I" in his head
People that all woken up at the same time are mostly feeling unbelievable and confused
But suddenly someone yell "I can stand again! I was a hospital patient and couldn't even stand anymore but I can even walk and run now!"
Just then another person yell out too "I feel so clear! My mental illness is recovered!?"
People around are already chattering about why were they here and they were sleeping in their home and some even slept in different place but some how got in here when is just all walls trapping them inside, they started to tell others their thoughts, is it kidnap? Is it aliens doings? Or it was a dream? Bur it makes no sense at all based on the situation now
Panic started to spread and people starts to look for exits around the place but there's no entrance and even exits! Is just all walls!
Darnil listened others people talking and calmly receiving all the information
"Darnil: So it all happened after we slept and based on what people says it doesn't seems like what they said of people kidnapping them or alien kidnapping them... and it doesn't sound like a dream since we were all conscious, is just too vivid for all this to be just a dream"
Darnil stood up and started to observe the place
Darnil was wearing casual clothing to sleep while some people were wearing... weird clothes to sleep, there's some male who wore a boxer shorts to sleep and now they woke up in a place filled with people, how embarrassing ain't it
Darnil: I'm glad I was too tired yesterday and just sleep in my casual clothes or it'll be really embarrassing...
In the middle there's a massive elevator with massive amount of space inside, there's also a button on ground to press to call up or down as well as the inside of elevator and that's the only button it has
"Darnil: There's nothing much in this floor no information but only just some vase with flowers in some corners, going up the elevator is the only way out of here"
Darnil walk up towards the elevator while some people do the same as well when they realise is the only way out of this place
"Darnil: This place really felt like a prison but it just looked luxury and everything else just seemed like a prison here"
Suddenly a skinny but tall guy standing in front of the elevator yell
???: Everyone we should use the elevator instead of wasting our time on searching every corner for things like hidden exits or what, I'm using the elevator who's coming with me?
After a moment of silence, the noisy chattering sound returns but this time some people responded "agree" and step into the elevator, slowly the elevator was crowded of over 30 people inside including Darnil and the guy and the rest of the 70 people stayed but just when they pressed up button, sounds of vase slammed down on the ground in the distance with some arguments sound and started to escalate into fighting then more and more sounds of vase broken as the elevator goes up all the sound is becoming quieter but just the crowd of these 30 people talking and some whispering
"Darnil: Alas, places with more then one people is bound to be chaos than peaceful"
"Darnil: It been for quite some time now and there's still not a single light or anything, also this elevator seemed to be dangerous cause there's no walls but just floors, how did this elevator even operate? But it actually worked and it is going up but when going back down again, I can't stand near the edge or I'll fell to death"
Darnil stand much more into the center as the elevator keep going up onto the endless darkness above and after quite some time later they finally sees a sliver of light through a closed gate above of them at the walls in front of them
When the elevator arrive it stop at the floor and the gate just opens itself
Everyone is trying to sees what's on the floor but it just seemed safe?
Is just corridor with endless doors but unknown is always the biggest fear, nobody really is brave enough to be the first one to step out of the elevator, not even the guy who's first spoke to gather people to take the elevator
"Darnil: Whenever in such situation is always best to wait until someone finally step in themselves, can't be the first to die after all, in such place I got no choice but to be smart and act cool then act first head on"
Just when everybody were afraid to take a step, a buff looking guy step in and act like his tough and brave, saying bunch of gibberish to people basically just trying to make him look tough to people and convince people to be his minion thinking he was smart, he slowly gets bolder as nothing happen and people not doing anything, he point at a few people to be his minion but when people saw that he was buff they just listen and do it as he says even if asking them to be the first to open doors
A guy slowly approach and twist the door knob with some of the buff guy minion behind while the buff guy was standing nearest to the elevator and was taking steps back
Just when it opens the door, a horrific sounds of roar that shake the entire floor including the elevator
Darnil immediately tries to stable himself and reach the elevator button trying to press the down button but it doesn't seems to move, the elevator is stuck at this floor
They immediately tries to get back in the elevator but it was too late, a shadow looking kind of haze inside the room rushes out, whenever it touches someone that part of them is gone not even ash, it was so quick that everyone was killed or to say they disappear, the buff guy reaches it's hand into the elevator but disappear with only his hand lefted in the elevator
People were all backing up and afraid staring at the hand and where the haze just disappear when reaching the elevator
Darnil: FUCK!
"Darnil: It was so damn fucking close! And they left the damn door open! But it seems like the elevator could prevent any entities from entering? Oh my heart was pumping so fast now, I thought were over when we barely just started
Just then a girl spoke "let's return back to ground floor, I don't want to stay here anymore there's monster!" she says with teary eyes on the urge to burst into tears with her legs shaking from fear collapsing on the floor of elevator
Lots people agree and went to press the down button but even they press it many times it doesn't work, the elevator won't go down but stuck at this floor
Darnil let out a breath and breathe with him calming his self down
Darnil: I guess there's no escaping this hell
Darnil encouraging himself and stare determined into the corridor determine to survive this, for what? He doesn't know but he just know he gotta survive this because.... he felt so excited for the first ever time in his boring life that's been etching for him to experience something new, he been living the lonely life himself for a long time since his parents passed away, not a single friend or even girlfriend he ever had, just himself already is living the hellish life before he even got here, is just a new change in the new place
