The janissary went inside the yard and followed the path that was directly leading towards the palace inner gate.When he reached the imperial council chamber,he announced himself:
-Your majesty,please,allow me to enter.I am the warden of the outer gate of the palace.Two weird soldiers appeared in front of me and my colleague.One of them told us,that they arrived here in order to deliver something from the king Simon.
-Guards,let him enter at once!-Sultan Murad commanded 2 wardens that were protecting the entrance of the imperial council chamber.
The wardens immediately opened the doors and the janissary entered inside.He bowed his head in front of the sultan and then lifted it after a while.He looked at the sultan and the viziers that were gathered here for some meeting:
-Your majesty,do you wish me to bring those two bizarre men to you?
-Certainly,I want you to bring them to me right here.I have been waiting for Simon's response for weeks!Let's see,what's that answer.Go now and tell them to come along with you.
-As you command me,your majesty!
The janissary bowed his head again in front of the sultan and went out.He passed the palace and its yard and finally went to the place where Simon's soldiers were awaiting for him.He looked at the strangers and told them:
-Come with me to the sultan.He is summoning you two.Be aware,that you must leave your weapons with my colleague here and afterwards you will be able to come with me.
Simon's soldiers had no other option but to leave their weapons with another janissary.Once they were deprived of their weapons,they followed the janissary towards the sultan's imperial council chamber.As soon as the guards of the council chamber saw them coming towards the room,they immediately opened the doors.In the blink of an eye,king Simon's soldiers were in front of the sultan.The janissary and sultan's guards that were standing around his throne surrounded them and forced them to bend down in front of the sultan.Sultan Murad looked at them and the red velvet:
-So,you are those bizarre men this janissary mentioned...What is Simon's message to me?
-Here,inside the red velvet cloth.-Answered one of Simon's soldiers.
-Open it,Salih!-Sultan Murad ordered the very janissary who brought the king's soldiers to the sultan.
Salih opened the red velvet cloth and saw the brown box.On top of it was the letter:
-Give me this letter!-Sultan Murad exclaimed.
Salih gave it to him and after reading it attentively,he saw the head that Salih took out from the brown box.After looking at it and analyzing the letter's content,Sultan Murad felt himself infuriated.He yelled:
-Simoooon!How dare you to oppose me?!I will personally kill you!Strangulate these dogs of Simon at once!Then throw them into the bay of Bosphorus!Right now,Salih!!!
Salih and the sultan's 2 guards put ropes on the throats of Simon's soldiers.They soon were strangulated and taken to the Bosphorus.Their corpses were put into big white bags and then thrown into the deep bay.
