With that, the two of them turned and began walking out of the forest.
"I thought you said you would be leaving the palace tomorrow, Your Majesty? Why did you choose to leave today instead?" Attendant Dustin asked, worry clearly etched into his tone as he struggled to keep up.
"I was actually going to prepare tomorrow… today has already been exhausting," Dustin added under his breath, wiping the beads of sweat from his forehead with the back of his sleeve. His chest rose and fell heavily, each breath more strained than the last.
Anthony, the masked man, remained silent as always. His grip on the hilt of his sword was firm, his presence calm yet vigilant.
"If you're going to keep talking, then get the hell out of here, Attendant Dustin," Orion finally snapped with a scoff. Without sparing him another glance, he tugged on the reins of his horse.
"Hyah....!"
The horse surged forward instantly, its hooves pounding against the earth as it dashed deeper into the forest.
