Chapter 4 - Chapter 4:The Kingdom of Wolves

Far beyond the frozen mountains of Arunachal Pradesh, where the land of the vampires ended, another kingdom ruled the wild forests of the north.

There stood a fortress known across the mountains as the Wolf Castle, the home of the wolf people.

The wolf kingdom was very different from the quiet lands of the vampires.

While the vampire mountains were always covered in snow and ice, the wolf lands lived under constant rain and storms. Dark pine forests spread across the valleys, their tall trees bending under strong winds. Thunder rolled through the sky almost every night, and thick mist slowly moved between the forests like wandering spirits.

From the high cliffs below the castle, powerful waterfalls crashed down into the deep valleys, filling the air with cold white fog.

At the main entrance of the fortress stood a huge stone carving of a wolf's head.

Its mouth was open in a silent roar.

It was the proud symbol of the wolf kingdom.

The castle rose above the forests with tall dark towers. Its walls were strong and worn from many centuries of storms.

Inside those walls ruled the Wolf King and the Wolf Queen.

Even though their kingdom was very different from the vampire kingdom, a rare friendship existed between the two rulers.

For many years, the Vampire King and the Wolf King had shared a powerful alliance—built on respect, trust, and the belief that peace between their kinds was stronger than war.

One stormy evening, while thunder rolled through the mountains, a royal messenger arrived at the gates of Wolf Castle.

The messenger carried a sealed letter.

The message had come from the vampire kingdom.

Inside the great throne hall, torches burned along the stone walls while rain struck loudly against the tall windows.

The Wolf King stood in the center of the hall, holding the royal letter in his hand.

Beside him stood the Wolf Queen, leaning closer as she carefully read the message.

Their son, the Wolf Prince, stood beside them, watching with quiet curiosity.

On the red wax seal of the letter was the mark of the vampire kingdom.

A dark bat symbol.

A clear sign of royal authority.

It was an invitation.

The Vampire King had invited them to attend the birthday celebration of his twin daughters—the vampire princesses.

Behind the royal family, a giant stone carving of the wolf symbol watched over the throne hall while torch flames flickered in the shadows.

For a moment, the royal family stood silently.

They all understood how important this invitation was.

It was not just a celebration.

It was a sign of trust between two powerful kingdoms.

Soon after, preparations began.

The wolf royal family started their journey through the mountains.

They traveled across narrow snowy roads that twisted through cliffs and forests, moving toward the distant lands of the vampires.

At the front of the procession rode the Wolf King, wearing his crown and heavy armor that reflected the dim light of the stormy sky.

Beside him rode the Wolf Queen, calm and dignified even in the strong mountain winds.

Close behind them rode the Wolf Prince, strong and alert, his sharp eyes watching the road ahead.

Behind the royal family marched rows of wolf soldiers carrying long banners marked with the symbol of their kingdom.

Their formation moved steadily through the mountains like a dark river of warriors.

Far ahead in the distance, rising from the frozen cliffs, a massive fortress slowly appeared.

The Vampire Castle.

Its tall black towers glowed with torchlight under the night sky.

Even from far away, the castle looked like a shadow carved into the mountains.

And inside its walls, preparations had already begun.

Music, candles, and royal decorations filled the halls.

Because the castle was preparing for a grand celebration.

The birthday of the two vampire princesses.

At the main entrance of the Vampire Castle, the huge iron gates were open. Torches burned on the tall pillars, their golden flames lighting the falling snow.

At the top of the wide stone stairs stood the Vampire King.

His dark royal robes moved gently in the cold wind as he stepped forward and opened his arms to welcome his guests. Behind him stood rows of silent vampire soldiers, their armor shining in the torchlight.

Below the stairs, the royal family of the wolf kingdom had just arrived after their long journey through the snowy forests.

They sat proudly on their horses.

At the front was the Wolf King, strong and confident.

Beside him was the Wolf Queen, calm and graceful even in the cold mountain air.

Behind them rode their son, Prince Lobsang, whose sharp eyes carefully studied the tall vampire castle.

For a moment, the two kingdoms faced each other.

Vampires above the stairs.

Wolves below.

Power meeting power.

Then the Vampire King stepped forward with a welcoming smile.

"My old friend," he said warmly to the Wolf King,

"welcome to my kingdom."

The Wolf King dismounted from his horse and greeted him with respect.

"It is good to see you again," he replied.

Soon the wolf royal family was welcomed inside the castle.

That night, the birthday of the twin vampire princesses was celebrated with great beauty and excitement.

The castle halls were filled with hundreds of glowing candles. Long royal tables were covered with food and wine. Music echoed through the old stone corridors, and nobles from both kingdoms gathered under the high ceilings.

It was a rare moment of friendship between vampires and wolves.

Among the guests stood Princess Chorten Pema and her sister Rinchin Pema, both wearing beautiful royal gowns.

Not far from them stood Prince Lobsang.

Since childhood, the prince had often visited the vampire kingdom with his parents. Over the years, he had grown up with the two princesses, sharing many memories, training, and laughter inside the castle.

But his heart had always cared more for one of them.

Chorten.

During the celebration, Prince Lobsang quietly walked toward her.

In his hand was a single red rose.

He gently offered it to her.

"For you," he said softly.

Chorten looked at the rose with surprise, then accepted it with a small smile.

"Thank you, Lobsang."

The moment was small and almost unnoticed among the large celebration.

But the warmth in Lobsang's eyes showed the feelings he had carried in his heart for many years.

A quiet love for her.

Across the hall, the Wolf King noticed this moment.

He then turned to the Vampire King.

"My friend," the Wolf King said respectfully,

"I wish to ask for your daughter Chorten Pema's hand in marriage for my son, Lobsang."

The words spread through the royal hall.

The Vampire King looked at his daughter… then at the young wolf prince.

A slow smile appeared on his face.

"I gladly accept this union," he said.

A quiet murmur of approval spread across the hall.

The alliance between the two kingdoms had just become stronger.

The Vampire King felt proud.

One day, one of his daughters would rule the vampire kingdom.

And the other would become the queen of the wolf kingdom.

Two thrones.

Two powerful kingdoms.

Both connected by his blood.
