Everyone ran, and ran until they found someone where to stay. Everyone sat down, it was so quiet you could only hear breathing. The silence was unbearable, Abby's clothes were stained with red. It felt as if time had frozen then and there, there was no words to say.
They set up a campfire from the supplies they had and an old book talking about how to camp no one spoke that night. The air heavy now, everyone knew why. But no one spoke up.
Everyone was asleep but Abby wasn't she got up and sat alone, crying everything rushing as she processed what had happened, holding Anna's favorite book in her hand as if it would bring her back from the dead. Raven got up hearing Abby crying, she gave Abby a water bottle, Raven didn't say anything just sat next to Abby, slightly covering Abby with a blanket.
Liam spoke first, "We have to get going-", Abby cut him off. "No! What if they didn't kill Anna and they took her back into the lab? What if she's getting experimented on? Do we just leave her behind?!" Abby said angered at the idea of leaving with the possibility that Anna might be alive.
Everyone was silent for a bit thinking of the possibility of that before Liam spoke up, "We have to keep going, even if she is there we have no way to tell if she's alive. If we go back we land back in the place we were.".
Abby wanted to argue but, there was nothing to argue about since what
Liam said was the most logical thing.
Liam continued, "We'll try to find her when we get somewhere secure.".
