The Tower of Ascension.
The lore behind this one landmark was as old as the first invasion of Terra itself.
With its impossibly towering height, black and imposing walls, it truly stood like a silent deity overlooking all of Terra.
And now, standing before it, I could feel it. This thing, it wasn't of this world.
I had already suspected as much, but now, I was assured.
Add to that the fact that I was literally the bearer of this world, the sensation couldn't be any clearer, and along with that, I could also feel a very annoyed and irritated presence within.
I didn't need to think much to know who that would be.
I looked around, slowly taking in the surrounding crowd. They moved like nothing had changed.
I was sure I had relocated the world from orbit to my soul space, I could feel it clearly, yet the people here seemed completely oblivious to that fact as they moved on with their lives.
