Chapter 5 - THE FINAL GUARDIAN: RISE OF KALVETAL

The temple walls trembled violently. Somewhere above them, the sound of breaking stones echoed through the darkness. Dust filled the air, making it hard to breathe. Abhishek, Ayush, and Dhyan Chand stood frozen before the terrifying shadow creature that had finally broken free.

Its glowing red eyes burned like fire.

"The deep prison has awakened…" the creature's voice thundered across the chamber.

Gathering his courage, Abhishek asked, "What is sealed down there?"

The creature smiled — but it was not a human smile.

"The greatest sin of your ancestors."

Suddenly, the ground shook with tremendous force. The stone floor cracked open from the center, and a long fracture spread across the chamber. An eerie blue light began pouring out from beneath the crack.

Ayush stepped back in fear.

"We have to get out of here!" he shouted.

But Dhyan Chand, weak and exhausted, spoke in a trembling voice.

"No… if the deep prison opens completely, the entire world will be in danger."

Abhishek rushed toward his grandfather and began struggling to break the chains that bound him. After several painful attempts, the chains finally snapped apart. Dhyan Chand collapsed to the floor, but Abhishek quickly caught him before he fell completely.

The shadow creature watched them carefully.

"You still believe you can stop me?" it said mockingly.

Dhyan Chand slowly stood up.

"It is necessary to stop you," he replied firmly. "Because you are not just darkness… you are destruction itself."

The creature's eyes flared brighter.

"And what were your ancestors?" it roared. "They betrayed me!"

At that moment, the entire chamber exploded with blue light. The crack in the floor widened further, and something enormous seemed to move deep below the abyss.

Then—

A horrifying roar shook the temple.

The sound alone made their bodies tremble.

Ayush stared into the darkness with terror.

"What… was that?"

The color drained from Dhyan Chand's face.

"He is awakening…"

"Who?" Abhishek asked.

For a moment, Dhyan Chand remained silent. Then he whispered,

"Kalvetal."

The chamber fell into complete silence.

Even the shadow creature became serious upon hearing the name.

"So… you finally revealed his name," it said slowly.

Abhishek looked confused.

"Who is Kalvetal?"

Dhyan Chand took a deep breath.

"Centuries ago, there existed a demon who could control souls. He was so powerful that even the armies of kings could not defeat him. In the end, your ancestors sacrificed their lives to imprison him beneath this temple."

"And me?" the shadow creature laughed darkly. "I was his guardian. But humans betrayed and imprisoned me as well."

Abhishek's eyes widened in shock.

"So… you are Kalvetal's servant?"

The creature slowly rose into the air.

"Not a servant," it said coldly. "I am his first son."

Suddenly, dark energy burst from his body. Black smoke spread throughout the chamber, while ancient symbols carved into the walls began glowing brightly.

Ayush grabbed Abhishek's arm in fear.

"We're not going to survive this…"

But then Abhishek noticed something carved onto the wall.

It was the same symbol he had once seen in his grandfather's ancient book.

A circular seal.

Sanskrit words were written at its center.

Dhyan Chand saw it too.

"Abhishek!" he shouted. "That is the final seal!"

"But… the mantra?" Abhishek asked desperately.

Closing his eyes, Dhyan Chand began chanting slowly:

"Om Kaalaya Namah…

Om Rakshaya Namah…"

As the sacred words echoed through the chamber, the symbol on the wall started glowing intensely.

The shadow creature suddenly screamed in rage.

"No!"

Stretching out his dark hands, he unleashed a wave of black energy toward them. Abhishek and Ayush were thrown across the room.

Dhyan Chand slammed into the wall.

Groaning in pain, Abhishek slowly pushed himself back up. The sound of the mantra still echoed inside his mind.

Then suddenly—

Something flashed in his memory.

The remaining words of the mantra.

He remembered them.

Closing his eyes, he shouted with all his strength:

"Om Agni Bandhanaya…

Om Aatma Rakshaya…

Om Andhkaar Vinashaya Namah!"

The entire chamber exploded with brilliant golden light.

Every ancient symbol on the walls began shining at once. Chains made of pure golden energy erupted from the ground and rushed toward the shadow creature.

For the first time—

Fear appeared on its face.

"This is impossible!" it roared.

The glowing chains wrapped around its arms and body, binding it tightly.

But at that exact moment—

A gigantic black hand emerged from the crack below.

It was not human.

Its claws were as long and sharp as swords.

Ayush screamed in terror.

"Kalvetal!"

The entire temple shook violently. Massive stones crashed down from above. The crack had now widened into a bottomless abyss of endless darkness.

The shadow creature began laughing madly.

"It is too late now," he declared. "He has returned!"

Then, from the darkness below—

Two enormous glowing red eyes appeared.

They slowly rose upward.

They were so massive that Abhishek's breath stopped at the sight of them.

Dhyan Chand trembled.

"If he escapes… the entire world will drown in darkness…"

Suddenly, Kalvetal's voice echoed across the temple:

"Who… has disturbed my slumber?"

His voice was so powerful that the walls themselves began to break apart.

Abhishek was terrified, but then he looked toward his grandfather.

Dhyan Chand was weak.

Ayush was completely frozen in fear.

If he did nothing…

Everything would end.

At that moment, the ancient pendant around Abhishek's neck began to glow.

It was the same pendant his mother had given him during childhood.

Golden light burst from the pendant and shot directly toward the abyss.

Kalvetal suddenly fell silent.

"This power…" he growled. "No… this cannot be possible…"

Dhyan Chand's eyes widened in shock.

"Abhishek…" he whispered. "You… are the Final Guardian…"

Before Abhishek could even understand what was happening, the pendant's light spread across his entire body.

His eyes began glowing with golden energy.

And for the very first time—

The darkness began to retreat.
