Chapter 81 - Chapter 81: Raiver's Mission! Hunt 200 Celestial Dragons!

"Might Country—!!"

Charlotte Linlin was not to be outdone. She stood up, gripping the Emperor Sword Napoleon with both hands.

With a single slash!

A massive purple wave of energy, shaped like a crescent moon, swept out horizontally!

On the shore, five warships blocking the path of the slash were cleanly sliced in half from the middle!

BOOM—!!!!

The five warships exploded simultaneously, turning into five enormous fireballs.

Whitebeard also made his move.

He didn't use his glaive. Instead, he clenched his right fist.

A white shockwave halo began to condense around his knuckles.

Then, he punched the void.

BANG—!!!

CRACK! CRACK! CRACK! CRACK—!!!

Space shattered like fragile glass, exploding with countless white fissures!

Over a dozen warships near the shore were directly blasted apart and destroyed.

The Marine encirclement defending God Valley was torn open by a massive breach.

This was the terror of top-tier combatants.

In the face of absolute power, numbers were meaningless.

Before the fleet had even fully docked, Rocks, unable to wait any longer, leaped down and charged deep into the island, leaving his crewmates behind.

He had to find his wife, Eris, and his son, Teach, as quickly as possible.

At the same time, Raiver also moved.

He closed his eyes, expanding his Space Perception to its limit.

An intangible wave of perception spread out like ripples on water, covering the entirety of God Valley.

Every corner of the island, every building, every patch of forest, became clearly visible within his "sight."

Raiver's perception locked onto the location of every single Celestial Dragon, leaving a Space Imprint on each of them.

"250…" He opened his eyes, a cold glint flashing within his crimson pupils. "That's enough."

Space Jump. Raiver's figure vanished from his spot.

The next second, he appeared in the town square.

There were still some stationed Marines and Celestial Dragons who had returned from the hunt here.

Upon hearing of the pirates' large-scale assault, everyone had fallen into chaos.

"Not good, the pirates are here!" A Celestial Dragon with a fat head and large ears jumped around anxiously.

"What are the Marines even doing!" Another Celestial Dragon pointed at the nose of a nearby Marine soldier, cursing loudly:

"If anything happens to us, you lot will all be tied up and beheaded!"

However, the moment this Celestial Dragon's words fell, an icy voice came from behind him:

"Swine, see who has come?"

The Celestial Dragon turned around furiously:

"How dare you! How dare you call this Holy One a swine! I'll have you skinned, have your tendons pulled out, and executed by a thousand cuts!"

But when he saw the person behind him, all his rage instantly turned to terror.

It was a young man with a cold, ruthless face and icy eyes.

He wore a black overcoat open at the chest, revealing his lean, muscular physique.

A black longsword hung at his waist, and he exuded a suffocating aura.

More importantly—that face was all too familiar to the Celestial Dragon.

On the bounty posters issued by the World Government, this face was printed at the very top.

Bounty: 5,000,000,000 Belly.

"God Slayer."

"Ra… Rai…" The Celestial Dragon opened his mouth in terror, trying to utter that name.

But Raiver gave him no chance.

The Supreme Grade Sharp Blade "Black Dragon" was unsheathed.

Thwack—!!!

The blade sliced down from the crown of the head and emerged between the legs.

The Celestial Dragon's body was split vertically into two halves, flying apart in opposite directions as entrails and blood splattered across the ground.

The splattering blood drenched a nearby Marine.

That Marine witnessed the Celestial Dragon being cleaved in half right before his eyes.

His eyes widened, his mouth agape, yet no sound escaped him.

His mind went blank.

"You... how dare you—" he finally stammered out, his voice trembling uncontrollably.

Raiver turned his head, coldly eyeing the Marine:

"Aiding tyranny warrants no mercy in death."

A red glint flashed in his eyes.

Zap—!!!

Two dark red streaks of Haki Lightning shot forth from his pupils.

Bang—

The Marine exploded into a mist of blood, not even a single intact bone remaining.

Silence.

Deathly stillness.

Then, screams erupted.

"Alert! It's the 'God Slayer' Raiver!!"

"Protect the Celestial Dragons at all costs!"

"Open fire! Open fire now!!"

The Marines finally snapped into action, dozens of muskets rising simultaneously, their dark muzzles aimed squarely at Raiver.

"Shoot him! Turn this lawless bastard into Swiss cheese!"

The nearby Celestial Dragons began shouting too, though their voices were unmistakably laced with terror.

Raiver slowly raised his right hand, fingers splayed, then clenched gently.

He uttered four words under his breath:

"Space—Annihilation."

Hum—!!!

Centered on Raiver, the space within a hundred-meter radius was forcibly rewritten.

Countless Space Shards materialized out of thin air.

Then, they erupted.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh—

The Space Shards rained down upon the surrounding Marines like a torrential storm!

Swish! Swish! Swish—

The Marines' bodies were pierced, sliced, and torn apart by the countless shards.

Some were bisected at the waist, others decapitated, some diced into chunks, and still others ground into mincemeat.

In just three seconds.

Every Marine within the hundred-meter radius lay dead.

This horrifying spectacle utterly shattered the composure of the Celestial Dragons present.

"M-Monster!!" one Celestial Dragon shrieked in terror, turning to flee.

But Raiver's figure had already materialized before him.

A horizontal slash.

The head tumbled to the ground.

Raiver blew lightly, clearing the blood from the blade, then said unhurriedly:

"You swine, always the hunters—have you ever experienced what it's like to be the prey?"

"Today, I'll grant you that experience."

Raiver raised Black Dragon, pointing the tip at the remaining Celestial Dragons:

"Run. Any pig I catch will be split in two."

"Time's running out. Ten…"

"Nine…"

"Eight…"

"Ah—!!!"

"Devil! He's a devil!!"

"Run for your lives!!"

The Celestial Dragons completely broke down, screaming and weeping as they scattered like frightened rabbits.

Raiver stood his ground, not giving chase.

He simply closed his eyes, Space Perception unfolding once more.

The ten-second countdown ended.

His figure vanished from the spot.

The next instant, he appeared behind a frantically fleeing Celestial Dragon.

It was a middle-aged Celestial Dragon, his bloated body making his escape sluggish and labored.

"Running so slow—can't you move any faster?"

Raiver's voice whispered by his ear.

The Celestial Dragon turned in terror, meeting a cold, expressionless face and… the raised Black Blade.

"No—!!"

A blade flashed.

Thud—!!!

The right leg was severed at the knee.

"Ah—!!!"

Excruciating pain tore a heart-wrenching scream from the Celestial Dragon. Losing balance, he crashed heavily to the ground.

Blood gushed like a spring from the severed limb, quickly staining a large patch of the ground crimson.

He tried to get up, but with only one leg left, he couldn't steady himself at all.

All he could do was crawl.

Using his hands and his remaining leg, he desperately clawed forward.

"Move, damn leg… faster…" he sobbed, muttering to himself, his face smeared with snot and tears.

Raiver walked over to him, looking down:

"No crawling allowed here. Get up!"

The blade flashed again.

Thud! Thud!

Both arms were severed at the shoulders.

"Ah—!!!"

An even more piercing scream.

The Celestial Dragon lost all support, collapsing completely to the ground, writhing like a worm.

Raiver extended his hand, fingers curling as if grasping air.

Gravity Field activated.

An invisible force lifted the Celestial Dragon and flung him backward.

There, an intangible "Gravity Wall" had already unfurled.

The Celestial Dragon was firmly pinned against the wall, blood from his severed limbs trickling down its surface.

This Gravity Wall would move with Raiver, shadowing his every step.

He didn't kill the Celestial Dragon immediately. Instead, he kept him conscious, forcing him to slowly feel death's approach amid excruciating pain and blood loss.

More such Human Swine Celestial Dragons would be pinned to this wall.

After dealing with this one, Raiver vanished again in an instant, seeking his next target.

Under the marks of his Space Perception, every Celestial Dragon on the island was now exposed, with nowhere left to hide.

He wasn't in a hurry to slaughter them all at once. Instead, like the coldest of hunters, he would harvest them gradually, letting fear spread among the Celestial Dragons to its absolute extreme.
