Chapter 1 - The Boy Who Collected Broken Tomorrows

Chapter 1: The Train That Never Stops

At exactly 11:11 PM every night, a train passed through the abandoned platform of Ravenspire Station.

The strange part?

The station had been closed for over twenty years.

Seventeen-year-old Arin Malik first saw the train on the night his father disappeared.

The train made no sound.

No whistle.

No screech of metal against metal.

It simply appeared.

And inside the windows, he saw people.

People who looked... unfinished.

Like they were waiting for somethi

Chapter 2: The Night His Father Vanished

Arin's father, Kareem Malik, had always been obsessed with time.

Not clocks.

Not calendars.

But missed chances.

"If you could go back," his father once asked him, "would you fix your mistakes? Or would you protect them?"

Arin never understood what that meant.

Until that night.

His father ran toward the platform as the silent train slowed down — something no one else seemed to notice.

Arin shouted.

But his father stepped inside.

The doors closed.

The train disappeared.

And so did he.

Chapter 3: The Ticket Collector

For three months, Arin returned to the station every night at 11:11 PM.

People in town called him crazy.

His mother stopped talking.

His best friend, Nira, begged him to move on.

But on the 92nd night, the train doors opened.

And this time—

They were waiting for him.

A tall figure in a grey coat stepped down.

His face was blurred, like an unfinished sketch.

"I am the Collector," the figure said.

"You carry regret. You are eligible."

"Eligible for what?" Arin whispered.

"To board."

Chapter 4: The Train of Unlived Lives

Inside the train, Arin realized something terrifying.

Each compartment held a different version of someone's life.

A woman who never said sorry.

A man who never confessed his love.

A child who never forgave.

They weren't ghosts.

They were possibilities.

The Collector explained:

"This train carries broken tomorrows — futures people abandoned. We preserve them."

Arin's chest tightened.

"And my father?"

The Collector pointed to the last compartment.

Chapter 5: The Choice

Arin found his father sitting alone.

Older.

Tired.

But alive.

"I tried to fix something," his father said quietly.

"I thought I could choose a better future for us."

"And?"

"There is no perfect future. Every choice kills another."

The train began to shake.

The Collector appeared again.

"You may take him back," he said.

"But if you do, someone else in your life will disappear instead."

Arin's heart stopped.

"Who?"

"Whoever your heart fears losing the most."

Nira's face flashed in his mind.
