Can Might Guy open the Gate of View at this stage?
Might Guy is 14 years old now, and in the original story, Rock Lee opened the fifth gate, the Gate of Limit, at 13.
Rock Lee only started learning the Eight Gates after becoming a Shinobi, and he opened the fifth gate within just one year—a talent that even Kakashi marveled at.
But Might Guy's talent should not be underestimated either.
Might Guy is the son of Might Duy, and his talent for Taijutsu is even greater than Rock Lee's.
This talent began to manifest back when he was in the Shinobi Academy.
Rock Lee was a dead last at everything in the Shinobi Academy.
But Might Guy was actually quite capable; during a team combat exercise in class, Obito was just about to cast a Fireball Jutsu when he was kicked away by Might Guy.
In terms of training in the Eight Gates, Might Guy hasn't been exposed to it for much longer than Rock Lee.
He, too, was only taught the Eight Gates by Might Duy after becoming a Genin.
The Eight Gates is a Forbidden Jutsu, and one must have sufficient physical fitness to practice it.
However, Might Guy had a better start with the Eight Gates than Rock Lee did.
Might Guy had been training in Taijutsu with Might Duy since he was small; Might Duy's repetitive training was meant to lay the foundation for Might Guy to practice the Eight Gates.
In the original story, Rock Lee could open five gates during the Chunin Exams, but it was truly absurd that he could only open six gates three years later at age 16.
But this also indirectly reflects that after the fifth gate, each subsequent gate is harder than the last.
Even a Taijutsu genius like Rock Lee needed three years to open the Gate of View.
What about Might Guy?
Might Guy graduated as a Genin at age 9 and has been exposed to the Eight Gates for nearly five years; with his Taijutsu talent, surely he can open the sixth gate?
"The Sixth Gate of View — Open!"
A scorching green steam erupted violently around Might Guy, his chakra surging wildly, causing even the air to hum and vibrate.
His eyes rolled back in a somewhat feral manner, and the airflow around him surged violently. His speed exceeded the speed of sound, his figure so fast that even Itachi, who was watching from the sidelines, couldn't keep up with his Sharingan.
Itachi was shocked: "This, what kind of speed is this?"
Might Guy's legs kicked off with a sonic boom, and he made a sharp turn to catch up to Satori.
Shiranui Genma stood up, spat out the senbon from his mouth, and shouted to cheer on his comrade: "Might Guy, for the sake of the Village, use the Flaming Fist on it!"
Now is the time — Morning Peacock!
Might Guy swung his fists; the high-speed boost from the Gate of View caused his fists to rub against the air and create flames, forming a group of flame attacks that covered the battlefield. This was a wide-range Flaming Fist attack.
"Who exactly are you?!"
Even if Satori could read Might Guy's thoughts, he couldn't react in time because Might Guy's speed had already exceeded that of an ordinary person, combined with this wide-range attack.
Satori was hit directly by Might Guy's flaming fists; one after another, the flaming fists struck Satori's body. Satori let out a cry of pain and loosened his claws, causing Natsuhi, Kurenai, and Yūgao to fall directly.
The Jonin of Konoha jumped up and caught them steadily.
The scene of Might Guy opening the Gate of View stunned the entire battlefield, and everyone's attention turned toward him.
"Might Guy..."
Ryou pushed aside his focus on the Uchiha Clan and couldn't help but look at Might Guy, who appeared like a green flash.
The sixth gate, the Gate of View—Might Guy had actually opened the sixth gate!
This was the limit that Rock Lee could only reach during the Fourth Shinobi World War in the original story!
But Ryou immediately realized why: due to the war, Might Guy, Obito, and the others graduated earlier, so he had been exposed to the Eight Gates earlier than Rock Lee.
Might Guy's Taijutsu talent ranked at the forefront of the "Bushy Brow" clan.
With talent, persistence, time to turn it into combat power, and this battlefield that made everyone feel compelled to give their all...
...how could Might Guy not be able to open the Gate of View?
Sasori and the Uchiha Clan also couldn't help but shift their gaze to Might Guy.
The members of the Police Force were shocked to see Might Guy's flame attack covering the battlefield: "What kind of Fire Release is this?"
Fugaku, who was knowledgeable, used his Sharingan to clearly see Might Guy's Morning Peacock.
He said: "This is not Fire Release; this is Taijutsu. His fists are so fast that the wind from his punches rubs against the air to create flames."
The members of the Uchiha Clan were all shocked: "The wind from his punches creating flames—what kind of speed is that?"
Sasori was full of greed toward Might Guy: "What a powerful body. If he were made into a Human Puppet, he would definitely be stronger than the Third Kazekage and the others."
Ryou poured cold water on Sasori: "Impossible. The Eight Gates uses physical energy and life force as its foundation."
"Simply put, it requires blood and cells as fuel, otherwise it cannot be opened!"
Sasori's Human Puppets retain Ninjutsu and chakra; Might Guy is a Taijutsu Shinobi, so even if Sasori could preserve his chakra meridian system...
...he still couldn't preserve his living cells and blood.
If Might Guy became a Human Puppet, he wouldn't be able to unleash the power of the Eight Gates.
Sasori showed a look of disappointment. Such a powerful Forbidden Jutsu couldn't be preserved like a piece of art?
If he died, he would completely turn into dust—what a pity!
Ryou shouted to Might Guy: "Remarkable, Might Guy! You have earned my recognition. I bestow upon you the title of Konoha's Proud Blue Beast!"
Might Guy responded full of energy: "Lord Ryou, thank you for bestowing this name! I will definitely not let you down!"
Konoha's Proud Blue Beast!
Back in the day, Hanzo bestowed the name "Sannin" upon Jiraiya, Orochimaru, and Tsunade, making them famous throughout the Shinobi World.
Now, Ryou's status is even higher than Hanzo's; his bestowing of a title is a kind of honor—a Shinobi's honor.
It's just like Madara, who called Might Guy's Taijutsu the strongest!
Recognition from an opponent is the greatest validation for oneself.
"Konoha's Proud Blue Beast?!"
Mifune recited the nickname Ryou bestowed upon Might Guy. "Blue" represents the green bodysuit Might Guy wears year-round, as well as the green steam that erupts when he opens the sixth gate.
"Beast" refers to Might Guy's ferocious Taijutsu, wild and powerful like a beast.
From today on, many people will remember Konoha's Proud Blue Beast.
When many people were unable to attack Satori, he unleashed the sixth gate, caught up to Satori, and rescued the female Shinobi who had been captured by Satori.
Mifune looked at Might Guy with admiration, even drooling a little.
He was starting to covet Might Guy's perseverance and strength.
Might Guy didn't use Ninjutsu; it was pure Taijutsu. If he could get a sturdy blade, relying on his speed, wouldn't he be able to unleash a supersonic blade wind with a single swing?
Might Guy's combat style isn't like a Shinobi's; it's like an unarmed martial artist's.
Mifune wanted to lure Might Guy to the Land of Iron to be his successor.
But looking at how Might Guy would go through fire and water for his companions, it probably wouldn't be easy to lure him away.
Now that he's famous, Konoha Village will protect him like a treasure.
In the Senju Clan, Gyokushun watched Might Guy showing off his might and was so shocked his jaw dropped.
Mōmō said: "Lord Tobirama once said that the Eight Gates is the most suitable Forbidden Jutsu for our clan. It's a pity we always shunned the Eight Gates because the training is too harsh, and we ignored this Forbidden Jutsu."
The Senju Clan is defined as a clan that possesses powerful physical energy and numerous Secret Techniques.
The Senju Clan has excellent physical fitness; even the Genjutsu Shinobi in the clan who don't specialize in Taijutsu are Taijutsu experts.
Just like how the Uchiha possess powerful chakra as soon as they become Shinobi.
People of the Senju Clan are born with physical stats that exceed those of ordinary Shinobi.
If children in the clan obtained the Eight Gates, they wouldn't need to become Genin to practice it; they could start practicing as soon as they entered the Shinobi Academy.
Tobirama also once said that the Eight Gates, the Forbidden Jutsu passed down in Might Guy's family, has a high compatibility with the Senju Clan.
But very few people in the Senju Clan practice it.
Because they lack the focus.
Since he was small, Might Guy had to follow Might Duy in high-intensity training. Although Might Guy could use Ninjutsu, he only had a rough control of chakra.
He was barely passable at performing the Three Body Technique, the basic requirement for graduating from the Shinobi Academy.
The teachers only made an exception and let him graduate because Might Guy's Taijutsu exceeded that of his peers.
Might Guy's only choice was Taijutsu.
But the Senju Clan is different; they possess powerful physical fitness and a strong talent for techniques.
The Forbidden Jutsu of the Shinobi World come from Konoha, and the Forbidden Jutsu of Konoha come from the Senju.
The Senju Clan is a clan of techniques; they have too many Forbidden Jutsu and Ninjutsu, so there's no need to struggle with the Eight Gates, which is slow to take effect and requires a large amount of time to practice.
Furthermore, in the Village's environment, Taijutsu Shinobi are often taken advantage of.
