Chapter 1 - Unnamed

💌 The Last Letter of Love

On a quiet evening in a small town near Kolkata, Aisha found an old wooden box hidden beneath her bed. Inside it lay faded photographs, a dried rose, and one unopened envelope.

The handwriting on the envelope was familiar — it was Aarav's.

Aarav had left for Delhi years ago to chase his dreams. They had promised to stay in touch, but life slowly built a distance between them. Calls became texts, texts became memories.

With trembling hands, Aisha opened the letter.

"If you are reading this, it means I never found the courage to say this in person. Loving you was the easiest and hardest thing I've ever done. I left to become something, but I forgot that I was already someone when I was with you."

Tears blurred her eyes.

The letter continued:

"Maybe we were not meant to stay forever. Maybe we were meant to teach each other what love feels like. If destiny is kind, our paths will cross again. If not, know that somewhere in this world, someone once loved you with all his heart."

Aisha folded the letter carefully. She didn't feel sadness anymore — only warmth.

Sometimes, love doesn't end with goodbye.

Sometimes, it lives quietly in a final letter.
