I hope you're all doing well.
This story has been on hiatus for quite some time, and first of all, I'd like to apologize. I had to deal with some personal matters over the past month that left me with very little free time. Even so, I should have posted an author's note to let you all know what was happening, so my sincerest apologies for disappearing without any explanation.
That said, this story is far from over. The journey continues!
Tomorrow I'll be posting the next chapter. It won't be anything major—just a continuation from where the story left off. I want to ease back into writing while taking the time to carefully reread everything I've written so far and decide whether I need to make any adjustments to the current roadmap I have planned for Lira and Ali's story.
