Chapter 107 - Chapter 7: A Choice Between

Training ended with everyone completely exhausted.

The "city block" simulation faded away, leaving us back in the quiet courtyard of Jujutsu Kaisen. People were scattered everywhere—on the ground, against walls, sitting on steps—breathing heavy, too tired to even argue.

Even Katsuki Bakugo wasn't yelling.

That's how you knew it was serious.

I dropped onto the grass, staring up at the sky. My head was spinning—not from exhaustion, but from everything I'd done.

Portals.

Teleporting people.

Linking space.

Redirecting attacks.

…Bending the battlefield.

"Ren," Kaito said, sitting beside me. "You good?"

"…Yeah," I muttered. "Just thinking."

Because something had clicked today.

Not just about portals.

But about what they meant.

If I could distort space…

Then what was stopping me from—

I sat up suddenly.

"Wait."

Yuji looked over. "What?"

I stood up slowly, brushing grass off my clothes.

"I have an idea."

That got everyone's attention.

Even Gojo, who had been casually lounging nearby, tilted his head.

"Oh?" he said with a grin. "This should be interesting."

I took a deep breath.

"…I have a choice to make."

Everyone stared.

Denki blinked. "…A choice?"

I held up two fingers.

"Option one…"

"I stay here and learn a new ability. Something that builds off my portals."

I lowered one finger.

"Option two…"

"I open a portal to a completely different universe."

I paused for effect.

"…Like Black Clover."

Silence.

Then—

"WHAT?!" Denki yelled.

Kirishima's eyes lit up. "ANOTHER UNIVERSE?!"

Bakugo smirked. "Heh. That actually sounds interesting."

Yuji blinked.

"…You can just do that?"

I shrugged.

"I think so."

That was the scary part.

I wasn't even fully sure anymore what my limits were.

Behind us, Tomura Shigaraki scratched his neck slowly.

"…Another world, huh."

Dabi smirked faintly.

"That could be fun."

Kurogiri spoke calmly.

"Dimensional travel on that level would require extreme precision."

I nodded.

"Exactly."

Then I looked down at my hands.

"…Or…"

I hesitated.

Because something else had been sitting in the back of my mind all day.

Something bigger.

Something dangerous.

I whispered to myself:

"If I can distort space…"

"…what else can I distort?"

Yuji raised an eyebrow. "Ren?"

I didn't answer right away.

Instead, I started pacing.

Thinking.

Connecting things.

Portals weren't just movement.

They were space manipulation.

And in anime…

There was one ability that perfectly matched that concept.

I stopped walking.

My eyes widened.

"…No way."

Gojo noticed instantly.

"Oh?" he said, smiling. "You figured something out, didn't you?"

I looked up slowly.

"…Yeah."

Everyone leaned in.

Even Sukuna's presence stirred slightly inside Yuji.

I took a deep breath.

"I don't think I should go to another universe yet."

Denki sighed in relief.

"THANK YOU."

But I wasn't done.

"…Because I think I can learn something way more broken first."

Bakugo grinned.

"Now you're talking."

I clenched my fist.

"…If I can control space…"

"…then I might be able to create something like—"

I paused.

Then said it.

"Domain Expansion."

Silence.

Complete silence.

Yuji's eyes widened.

"…You mean like—"

I nodded.

"Yeah."

Like the techniques used by the strongest in Jujutsu Kaisen.

A space.

Controlled entirely by me.

Where I decide the rules.

Where my portals wouldn't just move things…

They would dominate everything inside.

Gojo's smile grew wider than ever.

"…Now that…"

"…is a terrifying idea."

Sukuna's voice echoed faintly through Yuji.

"…Interesting."

Kaito stared at me.

"…Ren… that sounds… dangerous."

I grinned.

"…Yeah."

I looked at my hands again.

Space shimmered faintly around my fingers.

"I think it's time I stop just using portals…"

…and start mastering space itself.

The wind picked up slightly across the courtyard.

Everyone felt it.

Something was changing.

And deep down…

I knew this next step would be on a completely different level.

I looked up.

"…Tomorrow."

"Let's see if I can create my own Domain."

And just like that…

Things went from chaotic—

To terrifyingly powerful.
