Chapter 95 - Chapter 6: The Worst Best Idea Ever

I woke up the next morning with one thought in my head.

Not breakfast.

Not school.

Not the fact that Tomura Shigaraki, Dabi, and Kurogiri were still sleeping in my room.

No.

Just one thought.

The best idea ever.

I sat straight up in bed.

"…I HAVE IT."

Shigaraki fell off the chair he had been sleeping in.

"…WHAT."

Dabi groaned from the floor.

"If this is another anime attack—"

"It's better."

Kurogiri looked up politely.

"I am intrigued."

I stood up dramatically.

"I'm opening a portal."

Shigaraki rubbed his face.

"…You already do that."

"Not a normal portal."

I pointed toward the window.

"A dimension portal."

Silence.

Dabi slowly sat up.

"…You're still on that?"

"Yes."

Shigaraki stared at me.

"…No."

I grinned.

"Yes."

Gathering Everyone

Twenty minutes later we were outside on the training field of U.A. High School.

And yes.

I had gathered everyone.

Class 1-A.

The villains.

And a few very tired teachers.

Standing in the field were:

Izuku Midoriya,Katsuki Bakugo,Shoto Todoroki,Mina Ashido,Eijiro Kirishima,Denki Kaminari…

…and many others.

At the front stood Shota Aizawa, looking like he had already regretted waking up today.

"Ren."

"…Yes?"

"Explain why the entire class is outside."

I pointed at the open training field.

"I'm opening a portal to another universe."

Silence.

Denki's jaw dropped.

"…WHAT?!"

Midoriya immediately pulled out his notebook.

"DIMENSIONAL TRAVEL?!"

Bakugo exploded.

"YOU'RE DOING WHAT?!"

Dabi leaned on a nearby railing.

"I told you this was a bad idea."

Kurogiri folded his hands calmly.

"I am curious to observe the attempt."

Shigaraki sat on a crate.

"…If reality collapses I'm blaming you."

I ignored them.

Because my brain had already chosen the universe.

I raised a finger dramatically.

"I know where we're going."

Everyone stared.

"…Where?" Mina asked.

I grinned.

"To the world of Jujutsu Kaisen."

Denki gasped.

"THE CURSE ANIME?!"

Kirishima pumped his fist.

"That sounds manly!"

Midoriya whispered excitedly.

"Cursed energy systems…"

Bakugo cracked his knuckles.

"…If we meet someone strong I'm fighting them."

Aizawa sighed.

"…Of course you picked a dangerous one."

The Setup

I stepped forward into the center of the training field.

Everyone backed up.

Even the villains looked slightly nervous.

The air around my hands began to ripple.

The same strange pressure built again.

Like space itself was stretching.

Kurogiri watched closely.

"This is far stronger than his normal portals."

Dabi narrowed his eyes.

"…Yeah."

Aizawa spoke calmly.

"Ren."

"…Yeah?"

"If this goes wrong—"

"I know."

I focused harder.

I had thought about the timing too.

If I was going there…

I wanted to go to a specific moment.

Not during chaos.

Not during a massive disaster.

Just before something big.

The air twisted violently now.

Reality began bending.

"…Okay," I muttered. "Let's try this."

I pictured the location in my head.

The forest battlefield.

The students.

The buildup before the Goodwill Event fight.

The space in front of me cracked.

Like glass splitting apart.

Everyone stepped back.

Denki screamed.

"IT'S WORKING?!"

The crack widened.

Then widened more.

Until suddenly—

A portal opened.

A real one.

Not a teleport.

Not a training portal.

A dimensional gateway.

Through it…

We could see trees.

A large forest training ground.

And in the distance…

Students wearing unfamiliar uniforms.

Midoriya whispered.

"…That's real."

Mina grabbed Kirishima's arm.

"WE DID IT?!"

Shigaraki slowly stood up.

"…You actually did it."

Dabi stared through the portal.

"…Kid just opened anime."

Kurogiri nodded calmly.

"A successful dimensional breach."

Aizawa rubbed his face.

"…Of course."

Across the portal…

Someone in the forest turned slightly.

White hair.

Blindfold.

And an enormous amount of power.

Satoru Gojo paused mid-step.

He tilted his head.

"…Huh?"

He looked directly at the portal.

And directly at us.

"…That's new."

Back on our side…

I slowly grinned.

"…It worked."

The portal stabilized.

The forest world of Jujutsu Kaisen stood open in front of us.

And everyone was staring at it.

Because now there was only one question left.

Who was going through first?
