Stacie was dressed for the occasion, but her dress was formal and hung tightly to her figure. It was completely unlike the long, flowing wine dress that Lillian had picked for me.
But I was hosting all the Lunas in the region. I needed to look the part.
Stacie helped me key in my necklace while giving me a report on every other thing.
"Matron Beatrice also sent me a mind link to let you know that she has already prepared the gift boxes."
Contrary to what I thought, Beatrice had gotten Emily and Jasmine to apologize publicly. Although we weren't on a friendly level, things were civil between us.
That was more than enough for me.
