Chapter 1 - My first time

My First Time

Chapter 1 – The Night She Drank My Blood

My first time just happened.

Oh my God.

It feels so weird. Like someone drained every bit of energy out of my body. I feel lightheaded, weak… exposed. It was painful. It was pleasant. It was terrifying.

And yes — I'm a guy saying that.

Before you judge me, let's rewind a little.

I turned eighteen yesterday.

Eighteen. Officially an adult. Supposedly mature. Supposedly experienced.

Spoiler alert: I'm not.

Like any average guy, I've always wondered what love feels like. What does it mean to hold someone's hand and feel your heart race? What does it feel like to be loved by someone — and to love them back? You know… normal teenage stuff.

Except I never got the chance to experience any of that.

I studied in an all-boys government school my entire life. Not because I wanted to. My parents simply couldn't afford private school fees. So while other guys were having awkward teenage romances, I was surrounded by sweaty boys arguing about cricket and fighting over lunchboxes.

Trust me. It builds character. And trauma.

But that phase ended.

Because I passed my college entrance exam.

Not with top marks — let's not exaggerate — but enough. Actually, more than enough, thanks to my teachers' recommendations. Apparently being one of the only sane people in that chaos of a school earned me some points.

And now?

Now I'm standing in front of my new college.

It looks like a castle.

Not even joking. Tall towers. Gothic windows. Stone walls glowing under the sun. If Hogwarts had Wi-Fi and Lamborghinis parked outside, it would look like this.

And yes. Lamborghinis.

Ferraris.

Cars I've only seen in YouTube videos were casually parked near the entrance like bicycles.

My father had driven me here in our slightly wheezing old car. As I stepped out, he looked at me with that worried father expression.

"Alex… you'll be alright, okay?"

"Dad," I sighed. "I'm eighteen. I'm not a child."

He smiled softly. "Every son is a child to his parents."

"Please don't start with emotional dialogue like Mom."

He laughed and handed me some cash. "I may not afford the best for you, but I'll try my best. I'll transfer more money if you need it."

For a second, my chest tightened. I nodded. "Don't worry about me. I'll handle it."

He left.

And just like that, I was alone.

New city. New life. Co-ed college.

Co-ed.

Girls.

Actual girls.

I swallowed.

"Okay, Alex," I muttered to myself. "Act normal."

As I walked through campus, I tried not to stare like a caveman discovering civilization. Students were everywhere. Stylish clothes. Expensive watches. Confident smiles.

Then suddenly—

"Excuse me, do you know where the girls' dorm is?"

I froze.

A girl was talking to me.

She had soft brown hair and curious eyes. She was close enough that I could smell her perfume.

"Uh… I— actually… I'm new here," I stuttered.

Smooth. Very smooth.

She smiled. "Me too."

"Oh. Oh! That's cool."

Awkward silence.

"Bye then," she said.

"Bye."

She walked away.

I stood there for a full ten seconds.

"Oh my God," I whispered. "I just talked to a woman."

It's not like I've never spoken to girls before. But this was different. This was college. This was freedom.

After wandering for almost an hour, I finally found my dorm.

Room 217.

I opened the door.

Three beds.

One single bed. One bunk bed.

Of course.

As I unpacked my luggage, the door opened again.

A tall guy walked in. Broad shoulders. Confident posture.

"Looks like we're roommates," he said casually. "Andrew. The single bed is mine."

Ah. One of those.

Nice to meet you too.

"I'm Alex," I replied calmly. "And what if I take the single bed?"

He raised an eyebrow. "You won't."

"And if I do?"

He studied me for a second.

Then he shrugged. "Then I'll take the bunk. I just prefer the single because I'm 6'3."

Oh.

That… was reasonable.

I expected a dominance battle. Instead, he just explained logically.

"Take it," I said. "You probably need it more."

He grinned. "Thanks, man."

Turns out Andrew is from a wealthy family. Smart too. Not the arrogant type I expected.

Soon, the third roommate arrived.

Glasses. Calm expression.

"My name is Jinwoo," he said politely.

Korean. Rich family as well. Also smart.

Great.

Two rich geniuses.

And me.

"So which family are you from?" Andrew asked casually.

"Middle class," I replied. "Scholarship student."

They stared at me.

"Scholarship?" Jinwoo repeated.

"Yeah."

Andrew whistled softly. "Respect."

We explored campus together, found our classes, located the cafeteria, and yes — observed the "scenery."

Night came quickly.

We slept.

The next day was overwhelming.

So many beautiful girls.

Blondes. Brunettes. Redheads.

Then I saw her.

Black hair.

Hazel eyes.

Skin like porcelain.

She didn't walk.

She glided.

"Who is she?" I whispered.

Jinwoo followed my gaze and immediately grabbed my head, turning it slightly.

"Bro. That's Alena."

"Alena…"

"She's the queen of this college," Andrew added. "Top grades. Top looks. Untouchable."

Untouchable.

That word stuck in my mind.

She wasn't smiling. Her expression was distant. Cold. Like she existed in a different world.

And yet, I couldn't stop staring.

She felt unreal.

Like something out of a dark fairytale.

That night, after a long day of classes and laughter, we went to sleep.

But at 3 AM, I woke up with a splitting headache.

"Great," I muttered.

I decided to take a walk outside to clear my head.

The campus at night looked different. Quiet. Mysterious. Shadows stretching long under the dim lights.

And then I saw her.

Black hair.

Standing near a lamppost.

Her head was slightly tilted down. Her hands clenched at her sides.

And her eyes—

They were glowing.

A faint crimson shimmer.

My breath caught.

She looked… in pain.

I stepped closer, slowly.

"Are you okay?" I whispered.

Before I could react—

A hand covered my mouth from behind.

Strong.

Too strong.

I was dragged into the shadows.

When I opened my eyes again—

She was right in front of me.

Her glowing eyes staring directly into mine.

"I'm sorry," she whispered.

Her voice was different. Lower. Raw.

"I can't control myself tonight."

Control what?

After what felt like forever, she stopped.

She pulled back slowly.

Her lips were stained red.

"You're… delicious," she whispered.

Delicious?

I blinked slowly.

"Th-thanks?" I croaked.

She touched the wound gently. It stopped bleeding instantly.

"I shouldn't have done that," she said softly. "But your scent… it's different."

Different?

Before I could ask what she meant, my vision darkened.

The last thing I saw was her conflicted expression.

When I woke up, I was lying on the dorm floor.

Andrew and Jinwoo were staring down at me.

"Dude," Andrew said. "Why do you look like someone sucked your soul out?"

I swallowed.

"I don't think you'll believe me," I muttered.

"Try us."

"A vampire… just drank my blood."

Silence.

Then—

They started laughing.

"Man, you really overdid it with the imagination," Andrew said.

I struggled to sit up.

"I'm serious."

Jinwoo's smile slowly faded.

"…What did her eyes look like?"

"Red."

"And did she apologize after?"

"…Yes."

The room went quiet.

Andrew and Jinwoo exchanged a look.

Then Andrew sighed.

"Well," he said calmly, "welcome to the real world."

My heart skipped.

"What?"

Jinwoo adjusted his glasses.

"Vampires aren't exactly a myth here."

My brain froze.

"…Excuse me?"

Andrew crossed his arms.

"Bro, you're in Blackthorne Academy. Did you really think rich kids with glowing eyes were normal?"

I stared at them.

"So you're telling me…"

Jinwoo nodded slowly.

"You just survived your first vampire encounter."

My mouth went dry.

"And judging by the bite mark on your shoulder," Andrew added, "she marked you."

Marked?

"What does that mean?"

They looked at each other again.

Then Jinwoo spoke quietly.

"It means, Alex… she'll come back."

My heart pounded once more.

My first day in college.

My first vampire encounter.

My first time being bitten.

And apparently—

It's just the beginning.
