Chapter 12 - Chapter 12: Police Station

Chapter 12: Police Station

Miss Shan frowned slightly and shook her head, saying, "President Miller, do you still think I'm as naive as before?"

"Ever since you kicked me out of the company for your sister's sake, I, Miss Shan, have sworn that even if I starve to death or jump off this building, I will never believe you again."

"I will give you 0.1% of the shares." Jerry tapped his fingers on the table and slowly said, "JM Group has a market value of 10 billion, and 0.1% is 10 million."

"Even if I were to back down to the Miller Family as you say, you could simply take the ten million and leave in style." Miss Shan stared at Jerry in shock.

She was just an employee; she had ability, but no capital or background.

For her own sake, Jerry was actually willing to give her shares worth ten million.

She stammered, "Really? Then I promise you."

"Miss Paper, help me draft the documents. We'll sign the share transfer agreement tomorrow." Jerry's expression was calm.

"If those former Employee are willing to come back, I'll give them 0.1% of the shares."

Rose looked shocked: "President Miller, you're likely to lose absolute control if you do this."

"I have my own plans." Jerry smiled faintly:

"Soon, a portion of the shares will be back in my hands." Miss Shan looked at Jerry with excitement.

That's a fortune of ten million! Even if they don't sell, they can still receive hundreds of thousands in dividends every year.

"President Miller, please don't hesitate to ask if there's anything I can help you with," Miss Shan said with a smile.

"How's the investigation going, where I asked you to investigate evidence of Ena abusing her power for personal gain and harming the company's interests?" Jerry smiled faintly.

"It's almost all there. I've collected all sorts of evidence." Miss Shan said angrily, "She didn't even try to cover it up. All sorts of evidence can be found easily."

"I doubt she ever imagined you would lay a hand on her, did you?"

"Heh... Fine, then you submit the evidence directly to the board of directors, and then call the police for me. I'll have the legal department cooperate with you." Jerry sneered.

"Call the police directly?" Rose frowned slightly.

"Aren't you afraid they'll resort to desperate measures?"

As soon as she finished speaking, her expression changed, and she hurriedly said, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that about your family."

"What's there to apologize for? 'A cornered dog will jump over the wall' is a perfect analogy." Jerry took a sip of tea nonchalantly. "Don't worry, I know what I'm doing."

After finishing their meal, the three went to the company. Seeing the scene of chaos and destruction, the three of them looked grim.

"I didn't expect Jacob to have such a strong influence, making a group of kids disregard everything and smash up our company." Miss Shan said angrily, "Those girls are really stupid, they were all used."

"If they get caught, they'll be bankrupt, and might even end up in jail."

Jerry frowned deeply: "If nothing unexpected happens, they've all been taken to the police station."

"Miss Paper, you guys go to work first and try to get the group back to normal operations as soon as possible."

Rose sighed and said, "Almost all the staff in your sisters' departments have gone on strike, so it will be difficult to get them back to normal operation."

"One day of strike, three days' wages deducted." Jerry said calmly, "If the strike continues, just fire them, which will save you from severance pay."

"Okay." Rose nodded.

Although Jerry's methods were domineering and ruthless, the group was in such a mess that tough measures were indeed necessary.

Just then, Tim called, his voice trembling with excitement, "Those troublemakers have all been released by the chief; it seems your family intervened."

Jerry frowned, not expecting the Miller Family to have such a deep connection with the police chief. Hundreds of people who vandalized the JM Group were released without warning.

"I did my best." Tim's voice softened.

"That old bastard didn't give me any face at all, and even scolded me."

"Damn, he's so arrogant. Once I find something on him, let's see if he'll be begging me for help."

"Don't alert him yet. Once we've gathered the evidence, he'll have his moment of reckoning," Jerry said calmly.

Dealing with those troublemakers would be too costly; let's focus our main efforts on dealing with the Miller Family.

"By the way…you need to come to the police station." Tim hesitated for a moment, then said worriedly, "Your family members and Lele came to the police station to report that you forced Lele."

"I believe you wouldn't do such a thing, but Lele spoke with absolute certainty, and your family testified for her."

"I'm afraid you're in big trouble."

Jerry clenched his fists tightly, his eyes filled with coldness.

Unexpectedly, the Miller Family went to such lengths, reporting the case directly to the police and even testifying on Lele's behalf.

This is truly leaving no way out for oneself; one wants to end up in jail.

"Even if they don't have any substantial evidence, you'll still have to spend at least a day and a night at the police station, and you'll have to come to the police station frequently afterward." Tim's voice was heavy: "They can then tamper with things in your company."

"Why don't we compromise with them first and get them to drop the lawsuit?"

"Compromise is out of the question." Jerry's voice was cold.

"Are they at the police station now?"

"Yes, your four older sisters and your parents are all here." Tim's voice suddenly became anxious. "You'd better come over here right away. The chief has already sent people to arrest you."

"If you were arrested in public, it wouldn't have a good impact."

"By the way, I've already had someone park your Mercedes in your company's underground parking lot."

"Okay, I'm on my way now." Jerry hung up the phone, went to the underground parking lot, and drove away.

'Just as I drove away, I saw a police car heading towards the group's building.'

Jerry breathed a sigh of relief. If he had been taken away by the police, there would probably have been a lot of rumors, making the group even more uneasy. Upon arriving at the police station, Tim offered a cigarette and smoked it listlessly.

"What's wrong?" Jerry took a deep breath and said with a smile, "You seem even more unhappy than I am."

"It's really quite annoying." Tim coughed lightly.

"Your family members are truly bizarre."

"A few years ago, the RM Group was on the verge of bankruptcy, and each of them had to shoulder millions of dollars in debt."

"They have achieved their current status because of you, but instead of being grateful, they actually tried to kill you over something like this."

"The bureau chief probably took a lot of money from them and spoke on their behalf at every turn."

Jerry sneered: "They are indeed capable of using my money to curry favor with the bureau chief and get him to target me."

"Don't worry, in three months at most, I'll make them beg me on their knees."

"It's good that you've come to your senses." Tim stubbed out his cigarette.

"Come in with me. Be careful not to say anything out of line. With me here, even the chief wouldn't dare to do anything reckless." Jerry nodded, a glint of light flashing in his eyes.

In my previous life, the head of the bureau was arrested, and many of his dirty deeds were exposed to the public.

I happen to remember several of them.

Just mentioning any one of these things would terrify the bureau chief so much that he'd wet himself. So he didn't take the police chief seriously at all.

As soon as they entered the police station, Robert and the others' eyes fell on Jerry.

Disdain, anger, mockery...

They didn't speak, but just looked at Jerry with amusement, waiting for him to beg for mercy.

Jerry simply glanced at them calmly, too lazy to say a word. The eldest sister snorted coldly: "Oh, still being stubborn even when you're about to die?"

"We've already given you chances, but you're forcing us to disregard all feelings."

"That bastard doesn't deserve to be a member of the Miller Family." The second sister sneered repeatedly: "He says nice things, that he considers his family everything and will do everything he can to be good to them."

"And what was the result? He almost killed his brother Jacob because of his own selfish desires."

Robert snorted angrily: "You beast, what else do you have to say?"

Jerry couldn't help but clench his fists, veins bulging on his arms. He didn't want to break ties with them yet, and said coldly, "What do you mean by this?"

"I gave you shares, I gave you power, is this how you repay me?"

"Knowing full well that Lele and Jacob were conspiring to harm me, you still gave false testimony for them?"

"What do you mean?" Third Sister's eyebrows furrowed sharply.

"You gave all these things to me?"

"Do we even need your paltry sum of money? If it weren't for helping you manage the group, we wouldn't bother with it at all."

"Besides, we are your family. Isn't it only right that you give us shares and assets?"

"Exactly!" The fourth Sister said angrily, "Now that you're making money, isn't it only right that you help your sisters and parents?"

The older sisters stood with their hands on their hips, glaring at Jerry, wishing they could give him a good scolding.

Their words implied that they didn't care about the money Jerry gave them at all.

These are all things they deserve.

Jerry laughed: "Fine, if you don't want them, return the shares to me tomorrow and resign from your positions at JM Group."

Upon hearing this, the men turned green with anger.
