Saturday came finally after a whole eventful week.
It came slowly,
Not the kind of slow that meant peace, but the kind that felt like the world was holding its breath without realizing it.
Selena stayed home.
No Alen Corporation. No meetings. No public presence.
Just the house, the kids, and the quiet weight of everything she hadn't yet revealed.
Morning –
Leo was already awake before anyone else.
He was in the living room, dragging a toy car across the floor like he was testing something important.
"Vroom—vroom—this one is faster than yesterday's model," he said seriously.
Lila sat cross-legged nearby, finishing a puzzle without rushing.
"That's the same toy," she said.
"It's upgraded in my imagination," Leo replied sassily.
Selena walked in quietly with a cup of tea.
Hair tied in lose bun. Normal home wear. Calm expression. No urgency in her steps.
"Stop shouting in the morning," she said softly taking another sip from her tea.
Leo froze.
Then smiled.
"I wasn't shouting, I was engineering sound effects mommy."
Selena looked at him for a moment not surprised because these kids especially Leo always says surprising things.
"Eat something," she said simply. "Both of you."
Leo immediately obeyed.
Lila didn't speak, just stood up and followed him.
Before leaving, she glanced at Selena.
"You're working today, mommy," she said—not a question.
"Yes," Selena replied.
Lila nodded once, like she already knew the answer before asking….she always does…she's acts and thinks more maturely for a 7 year old.
Late Morning –
The estate gate was an automatic gate it doesn't open for visitors.
It only recognized family members.
Luke's car was already cleared before he reached the entrance. Security didn't question it. Cameras didn't linger. The system simply marked him as approved and allowed entry.
Because he was a visitor but a part of the family.
He belonged.
Luke stepped out calmly and walked in like he had done a hundred times before.
He was dressed in a casual outfit-sweat shirt over sweat pants and he looks madly hot in it.
Selena was already in the living room when he entered.
"You're early….and I sure wasn't expecting company " she said.
"I had nothing better to do," Luke replied.
Selena glanced at him briefly.
"That's not a reason."
"It is when I choose it," he said lightly.
From the hallway, footsteps came quickly.
Leo appeared first.
He stopped immediately when he saw Luke.
"Oh…You're here,uncle Luke ."
Luke smiled slightly. "That sounded like you aren't happy to see me."
"I am ….I'm just really tired," Leo said honestly.
"Come over here little man," Luke said as he squatted down to pick Leo in his arms.
Leo giggled and excitedly ran into his arms.
Lila came downstairs more calmly.
"You're early," she said again.
Luke nodded. "I tend to be."
Selena didn't interrupt the exchange.
She rarely did when Luke was around the children.
Because Luke wasn't just anybody,
He was family in a way that didn't need explanation.
Living Room –
The children eventually drifted upstairs.
The house settled.
Luke sat across from Selena while she opened her laptop.
"No work today??," he said. " Finally"
"It's Saturday ," she replied.
"That's new for you."
Selena didn't respond.
Instead, she turned the screen slightly toward him.
Luke leaned forward.
At first glance, it looked like corporate data.
Alen Corporation.
But not the usual operational file.
This was layered.
Financial mapping.
Influence tracking.
Public and private structure alignment.
Luke studied it carefully.
"This isn't routine review," he said slowly.
Selena didn't look up.
"It's preparation."
"For what?" he asked.
She clicked once.
Another folder opened.
"Alen Corporation – Strategic Visibility Framework."
Luke frowned slightly.
"That name is too clean," he said.
"It's intentional," Selena replied.
Luke looked at her now more carefully.
"You've been building this quietly."
"Yes."
"For how long?"
Selena paused for a fraction of a second.
Then answered honestly.
"Long enough….before I asked you to dig in."
Luke leaned back slowly.
A pause.
Then she added:
"It's time to bring structure to identity."
Luke didn't speak immediately.
Because he understood what she meant.
Even if she didn't say it fully yet.
Selena turned the screen again.
This time, the internal branding layers of Alen Corporation appeared.
Legal name structures.
International filings.
Hidden registration alignment.
Luke's eyes narrowed slightly.
"…This is tied to Adrian."
Selena didn't deny it.
Luke exhaled.
"So the rumors aren't so true."
Selena closed one tab.
" Nobody is perfect ," she said. "Only unconfirmed visibility."
Luke studied her.
"And the visibility is about to change."
Selena leaned back slightly.
"Yes."
A silence followed.
Not heavy.
Just final.
Adrian Mansion,
At the same time, across the city, Adrian was already reviewing the invitation.
The event wasn't social.
It wasn't entertainment.
It was corporate revelation.
He held the printed invitation in one hand while scanning the attached briefing in the other.
"Brun Corporation – Heiress brought to light-Ivanna"
His assistant stood nearby.
"You're attending for partnership?" she asked.
"Yes," Adrian replied simply.
"With Brun?"
"And also with Ivan Corporation," he added.
A pause.
"You think they'll accept external partnerships after the reveal?"
Adrian didn't look up.
"They're revealing themselves for expansion," he said. "Not isolation."
He placed the document down.
"This isn't a celebration," he added. "It's positioning."
Selena mansion,
Luke leaned forward slightly again.
"So tomorrow night… you're stepping into that world officially?"
Selena didn't answer immediately.
From upstairs, Leo shouted something random.
Lila corrected him again.
Normal life continued above them.
But downstairs, something else was forming.
Selena finally spoke.
"I'm not stepping into anything."
Luke raised a brow.
"They are stepping into me," she corrected.
Luke smirked slightly.
"That's a dangerous way to frame it."
Selena didn't react.
"It's accurate."
Luke looked at her for a moment longer than usual.
"You know Adrian will be there," he said.
"Yes….. I made it possible."
"He's not emotional about it," Luke added. "He's strategic. Partnership-focused."
Selena nodded once.
"I know."
Luke tilted his head slightly.
"And Chloe?"
She already told him about Chloe .
That made Selena pause for half a second.
Then she said:
"She is irrelevant."
Luke laughed lightly.
"That's not what she thinks."
Selena closed her laptop slightly.
"What people think doesn't change structure," she said.
Luke studied her.
"You're already ahead of everyone in that room," he said quietly.
Selena didn't respond.
Because she already knew.
Evening –
Luke stayed longer than usual.
Not because there was more to discuss.
But because there was nothing left to misunderstand.
Selena wasn't preparing for a reveal.
She was preparing for recognition.
From people who had already been interacting with her world without knowing her name behind it.
From systems already tied to her influence.
From Ivan Corporation itself.
From IVANNA MOREAU.
That night, the house was calm again.
Leo was asleep early.
Lila was still reading quietly in her room.
Selena stood by her study window for a long time.
Luke had already left.
The city outside moved like nothing was about to change.
But she knew better.
Her phone lit up once.
A message.
From internal coordination:
"Final confirmation: Event tomorrow will publicly reveal IVANNA MOREAU identity."
Selena didn't react.
She simply turned the phone off.
And sat back down at her desk.
Not because she had work.
But because everything was already in place.
