It was the time of day when the scavenging teams returned, so a long line had already formed for the entry inspection at the base's gate.
The appearance of a truck was particularly eye-catching.
No one knew who had found so many supplies, and nearly everyone looked over with gazes of envy or jealousy.
Ian Chandler had already walked out from the base.
He looked at Nina Jacobs standing by the truck and approached her with a wide smile. "Need my help?"
"Yeah, your space is huge. Help me put some of this away for now."
Nina Jacobs felt rather resigned.
Having Yvonne Willow go into the base, unload the supplies, and come back out would waste too much time.
So, she had just sent Chase Gallagher to get Ian Chandler.
"No problem. Looks like you had some good luck today."
Ian Chandler hopped right onto the truck and started putting the supplies away.
He didn't understand why Nina Jacobs wanted him to leave some of the supplies on the truck.
