Eric and Erica were in great thrill because for the first time both the enthusiastic Teens were gonna be home by themselves, which meant. Full on fun time , no wone will stop them , no early sleeping rules and nonetheless.
It was Early in the morning while Eric was playing with their Dog so named "Pogo" who is a brown poodle. He would throw the bone toy here and there as the pogo would run and bring it back, it was going smooth until one time Eric Accidentally threw it in high strength as it flew away far far off the house premises.
"Oh... Well, gotta bring it back dont we? Pogo?" Eric was looking at the misty path way from where he had thrown the bone
Before he could say anything Pogo ran away towards the direction
"Hey!! Wait for me!"
Eric was about to run to Pogo but, out of a sudden pogo stopped, so did Eric. He looked here and there before making an Swift Sprint Towards the misty woods
"This is gonna be a problem.."
Eric's parents never allowed him to go into the woods as it was usually filled with wild animals like one time he remember a freaking boar run into the house and break the glass at midnight from nowhere
Still, it was to find pogo. So he had to go, he made up his mind with taking a deep breath and made his way into the woods
For a long time the path seemed endless, just a felt like an idle walking simulator for him but the only thing that was changing was the temperature. it was frequently fluctuating from mild cold to Really cold levels.
"Man.. where did this pogo even go bruh.."
As he finished saying his foot slipped and he fell into deep crater in the ground
"Ouch... That Hurt."
"Huh?" as soon as he what was infront of him, his blood ran cold.
Pogo was lying there near a piece of lead cube surrounded by rusted chains
He ran to him and took him in his arms and tried to wake him up, For a few minutes of intense Loss or Hope. He finally woke up as a Wave of Relief washed over him.
Later that Day.
Everything seemed fine, Erica was on her phone speaking to someone. Pogo was sleeping , Eric was watching the TV.
Everything was Calm, But Not for Long.
