Chapter 11 - Encounter 2

Dust drifted slowly through the ruined hospital corridor.

Broken glass covered the floor.

Nurses and patients had already fled screaming after witnessing two grown men punch each other through concrete walls like monsters wearing human skin.

Vikram stood breathing heavily while blood dripped from his nose onto the tiles below. Every muscle in his body screamed in pain. His ribs burned. His jaw throbbed. His fists felt cracked despite the vajra skeleton hidden beneath flesh.

Across the corridor—

King slowly moved.

At first only a twitch.

Then his fingers curled violently against the broken floor beneath him.

Power's expression changed instantly.

"Move back," she warned sharply.

Vikram frowned while wiping blood from his mouth. "He's unconscious."

"No."

A low sound escaped King's throat.

Not pain.

Anger.

Pure anger.

Then slowly—

He stood up.

The fluorescent hospital lights flickered violently overhead as his head lowered forward slightly. Blood dripped from his lips while his chest rose unevenly.

When he finally lifted his face again—

His eyes glowed red.

Not normal red.

Burning red.

Like hot metal inside darkness.

A strange pressure spread through the corridor instantly.

Hotter.

Violent.

Unstable.

King slowly muttered one word—

"Wrath."

The air exploded.

Dark crimson energy burst around his body like smoke mixed with fire. Cracks spread beneath his feet while nearby metal railings bent slightly outward under invisible force.

Vikram instinctively stepped backward.

"…That's new."

Inside King's mind—

Another voice emerged.

Different from Kali.

Deeper.

More savage.

MORE.

King's smile widened unnaturally.

The Prince of Wrath had awakened.

Not fully.

Only partially.

Yet even that fragment felt terrifying.

DESTROY HIM.

King rolled his shoulders slowly while crimson veins spread faintly beneath his skin. "Gladly."

Then he disappeared.

Vikram barely reacted in time.

BOOM.

King's fist slammed into the wall where Vikram's head had been half a second earlier. Concrete exploded apart instantly like paper.

The impact alone shook the corridor.

Vikram's eyes widened.

That punch became WAY stronger.

King attacked again immediately.

No pause.

No hesitation.

Unlike Vikram's raw instinctive fighting—

King moved with terrifying skill.

Every motion flowed perfectly.

A brutal mix of boxing, Muay Thai, street fighting, and military combat blended together into overwhelming aggression.

Punch.

Kick.

Elbow.

Knee.

Vikram barely avoided a direct hook aimed at his temple.

The punch missed—

Yet the shockwave still split the wall beside him.

"What the hell are you?!" Vikram shouted.

King laughed while attacking again. "Better than you!"

His knee slammed toward Vikram's ribs.

Vikram blocked desperately but still got thrown backward across the corridor. Pain exploded through his arms from the impact alone.

Too strong.

Too fast.

King lunged again with another barrage of punches. Vikram ducked under one punch only for the next elbow to graze his forehead hard enough to split skin open.

Blood ran into his eye instantly.

Power watched silently nearby.

Her expression had become deeply serious now.

Wrath amplification.

The more anger consumed him…

The stronger he became.

King spun suddenly and launched a vicious kick directly toward Vikram's head.

Vikram barely ducked in time.

The kick shattered a hospital pillar behind him completely.

Chunks of concrete rained across the floor.

King grinned wildly now.

"You're slowing down."

"I'm trying NOT to die!"

"Skill issue."

King rushed forward again.

This time Vikram planted his feet desperately.

Then punched upward.

BOOM.

His uppercut connected directly beneath King's jaw.

The sound echoed through the corridor like a hammer striking steel.

King's head snapped backward violently.

Blood sprayed from his mouth.

For one second—

Everything froze.

Then King laughed again.

Actually laughed.

"You hit hard…"

He wiped blood from his lip slowly.

"…but your technique is garbage."

Vikram panted heavily. "Thanks coach."

King attacked again instantly.

This time faster.

Wrath energy exploded around him violently as punches rained toward Vikram from impossible angles. Vikram blocked two.

Dodged one.

The fourth hit directly into his stomach.

BOOM.

The impact launched him backward through the air.

Straight through Sadhna's ward door.

The entire room exploded apart.

Vikram crashed across the hospital floor inside the ward while machines shattered around him.

Sadhna looked upward instantly.

Her hollow golden eyes widened slightly.

Then King entered behind Vikram.

The moment both men stepped inside—

Every strand of hair in the room rose violently.

The atmosphere changed instantly.

Hair covered every wall.

Every corner.

Every inch of floor.

And now all of it moved together like a living organism.

Sadhna stood slowly from the bed.

Her face looked emotionless.

But her eyes radiated overwhelming grief.

"Stop…" she whispered softly.

Neither King nor Vikram moved.

The floating hair around the room trembled harder.

"I said…"

The windows shattered outward.

"…STOP!"

The entire room erupted.

Thousands upon thousands of strands launched toward both men simultaneously like black spears.

Vikram's eyes widened. "OH COME ON—"

BOOM.

The force blasted both Vikram and King completely out of the hospital room.

Glass exploded everywhere as the two men got launched through the outer wall of the building itself.

People below screamed.

Vikram crashed onto a parked ambulance roof hard enough to crush it inward.

King smashed through a nearby signboard before slamming into the street.

Hair continued pursuing them.

Not ordinary hair anymore.

It moved like swarming insects.

Like angry wasps.

Like living weapons.

The black strands wrapped around both men violently.

Some pierced skin directly.

Vikram cried out as strands buried into his shoulder and arm like needles.

King tore several away violently from his chest while growling angrily.

The hair absorbed blood.

Then moved even faster.

"What is WRONG with her power?!" Vikram shouted.

Power appeared nearby instantly.

"She lost emotional control completely!"

King tried standing again—

But before Wrath could fully react—

Vikram tackled him.

Both men rolled violently across the pavement while hair storms swarmed overhead.

King punched Vikram directly across the face.

Vikram nearly blacked out instantly.

Then instinct took over.

He wrapped his arm around King's neck from behind.

Chokehold.

King immediately struggled violently.

Wrath energy exploded outward again.

But something unexpected happened.

The hair strands buried inside his body continued draining movement from him slightly. Not enough to kill—

But enough to slow him.

Vikram tightened the choke desperately.

"JUST—GO—TO—SLEEP!"

King slammed backward into walls repeatedly trying escaping.

One impact cracked Vikram's ribs loudly.

Another smashed both of them through a roadside stall.

Yet Vikram refused letting go.

King's movements gradually weakened.

His vision blurred.

Wrath continued screaming inside his mind.

KILL HIM.

RIP HIM APART.

DESTROY—

Darkness swallowed him before the sentence finished.

King finally collapsed unconscious.

Vikram immediately rolled away gasping painfully for air.

His entire body shook from exhaustion.

"…I hate this city," he muttered weakly.

Then suddenly—

Everything became quiet.

Too quiet.

People across the street stared upward in horror.

Vikram slowly followed their gaze.

And froze.

Sadhna walked out of the destroyed hospital entrance barefoot.

Slowly.

Silently.

The corridor lights behind her flickered violently while doctors and nurses fled screaming from her path.

Every strand of hair inside the hospital moved with her.

Not just head hair.

Everything.

Eyebrows.

Arm hair.

Beards.

Body hair from every patient and staff member nearby ripped free simultaneously.

Screams echoed through the building.

Blood followed.

Thousands of strands swarmed around Sadhna in the air like a gigantic cloud of black insects obeying their queen.

Patients collapsed crying while hair tore directly from their bodies painfully enough to leave bleeding skin behind.

The entire hospital descended into chaos.

Sadhna herself looked completely detached from reality now.

Tears rolled silently down her face while golden light flickered inside her hollow eyes.

"Maa…" she whispered weakly.

The hair storm intensified instantly.

Cars nearby lifted slightly from sheer pressure.

Glass shattered across the street.

Vikram slowly stood despite pain exploding through his entire body.

Power stared toward Sadhna with genuine concern now.

"She's entering mana overflow."

Vikram looked at the girl surrounded by endless swirling hair.

"She's grieving."

"She is becoming dangerous."

Sadhna kept walking slowly through the street while the swarm followed her like a living black tornado.
