Damian's POV
"So, you've finally shown up," Damian gritted his teeth as he stared at the list of newly accepted employees on his screen.
He tapped his fingers impatiently many times at his desk as he searched for one particular name.
"Sierra Delacroix…" He murmured when her file appeared.
"She just graduated under special consideration. Mhmm… Interesting." He read it loudly while thinking what might be the reason behind it.
"So she was sick back then? Is that why she left me? Ha!" He let out a bitter laugh. He was in disbelief as he spoke again, still talking to himself.
"I won't forgive you. And I won't go easy on you."He promised to himself, hatred still lingering on mind and heartache still hasn't fully healed.
His anger was burning more than what he felt back then when he's desperately looking for her.
He dialed his secretary and said what he wanted to say.
"Plan for a welcome party for newly hired employees. I'll be there. And I want it as soon as possible." He hung up after saying those words without waiting for any response.
He wanted to see her. He needed to know why she had the audacity to apply to his company after disappearing from his life.

On the other side, it was Sierra and Nadia celebrating after Sierra successfully entered the company.
"I actually know you could do it. I mean, you're my sister." Nadia proudly and cheerfully said and lifted her glass.
"Yeah, right! Whatever you say." Sierra jokingly rolled her eyes and responded in an obviously sarcastic tone.
Nadia looks at Sierra. They both came from a salon after they received the text messages that Sierra was accepted at Hovel Corporation, Damian's company.
She made sure Sierra is different from what they put on her resume. So, Damian will be surprised if he will ever see her. Though, she has a second thought if the two will get a chance to meet.
She was in the company for about 6 months now but she just saw Damian from afar surrounded by a lot of body guards so she never got a chance to talk to him or even just be near with him.
"For chasing a second chance with Mr. Ceo!" Nadia lifted her glass again to cheer Sierra.
They both laugh when Nadia receives a call from her team leader.
She immediately answered it and to her surprise from what she heard from the other line really made her eyes almost pop out. She was too stunned to speak, staring at Sierra with wide, excited eyes.
She ended the call and slowly showed her smile in front of Sierra.
Sierra was too curious waiting for Nadia to spill the tea.
"Ahhh–"
Sierra quickly covered her sister's mouth because of embarrassment. They're in a public space and everyone turned their head to their table when Nadia suddenly shouted.
"What the, sister. Spill the tea already. Stop making me wonder." Rushing her sister while slowly sitting properly on her chair.
"Well, we'll have a welcome party for newly hired employees tomorrow night. The catch is, this is the first time this has happened." She said happily and still fluttered with excitement. Seems like trying to fight herself to shout again.
"That's it? I thought it was something big." Sierra lost interest and drank her drink.
"The CEO will be there," she blurted out in one breath.
Sierra almost spat out her drink when she heard that.
"D- *Cough! Cough! Damian is?" Sierra asks coughing after she nearly choke herself because of shock.
She looked at her sister to answer but Nadia didn't speak. She just nods at Sierra while her hands are in her chest feeling herself flattering.
When Nadia confirmed it, Sierra suddenly stood up shouting and Nadia joined her.
They both jump and shout while holding each other's hand. Not paying attention to the gazes all around them.

The next day arrived.
Sierra was getting ready for the welcome party that will happen tonight.
She receives a message from Nadia that their team will go together at the hotel where the casual and social yet formal welcome party will be.
When she's ready, she texted Nadia that she's on the way and started leaving their house.
Everyone's already at the venue but Sierra is still not around. Nadia already rang her multiple times when Damian arrived at the venue.
"Where is she? Where is she?" She mumbled while keeping a look at Damian.
"Good evening, everyone. Thank you for choosing Hovel Corporation. I'm looking forward to working with you." Damian started his speech. He was losing his patience. The only reason he was there hadn't arrived yet.
"Sierra!" Nadia suddenly stood up calling Sierra who seemed to be looking for them. Damian slowly turned his head to someone where Nadia was looking and saw the person he loved so much.
Damian holding his drink scanned a gaze to Sierra. The woman who had abandoned him.
All the anger and pain since she left him without a word and the heartache he hadn't felt for so long, surged back. He thought he moved on. He thought all of his feelings left for her were buried already. But his heart stabbed him when he finally saw her again.
He watches her walk towards their table. Every step while wearing her sweetest smile seems like she owned her path. Her wavy long hair was colored in red, shimmering in every sway. The familiar scent she used to wear drifted toward him, pulling him straight back to the past.
Tears started filling his eyes as he felt mixed emotions that he couldn't understand anymore.
Sierra darted her eyes to Damian. She saw his eyes full of sadness and pain. He seems overwhelmed.
Everyone's looking at her for her late appearance so no one's noticed Damian's reaction. Only her who's only focus is to see Damian. To be with Damian.
Damian walks away but no one notices it. She wants to run away from the table and follow her goal. But she couldn't.
"I'm Czarina, I will be your team leader. Please introduce yourself." Czarina, their team leader, introduced herself in a friendly way.
"Ahm…"
She was stunned to see what happened to Damian. Her mind was floating and badly wanted to follow him.
"Sierra." Her eyes froze to her sister Nadia and quickly understood what she meant.
"Sierra Delacroix, I'm pleased to meet you all." She bowed to everyone and excused herself to go to the bathroom.
She rushed where she last saw Damian walk away. She has a 0% chance to meet him again after this. She won't surely let this chance slip away.
As she ran down the corridor, a strong hand suddenly pulled her into a hotel room. The door slammed shut behind her as she was pinned against the wall, both wrists trapped above her head.
She saw Damian's eyes full of hatred. Different from what she saw earlier.
"How dare you show up in front of me again?" he demanded, pressing her harder against the wall.
"Lovey…" The word slipped from her lips before she could stop it.
She finally sees him again.
Damian froze. His heart skipped a beat when he heard her voice calling him in their call sign.
Memory crashed into him all at once. His grip loosened.
Sierra got a chance to finally touch him. She softly rubs her hands onto Damian's face making sure she's doing it with care.
Her eyes started to become cloudy.
"W-what are you palnning?" Damian stuttered. Showing how affected he is right now.
"I've missed you…" Sierra mumbled. But enough for Damian to lose control.
Without another word, Damian cupped her face and suddenly kissed her. The kiss was sharp. Desperate. Pouring every pain he holds back for a very long time.
She didn't resist. She responds to him letting him know she misses him too.
After exploring each other's lips, Damian stops.
"Stop me." Damian said hoarsely. Brushing his thumb over her lips.
Sierra didn't answer. She used both of her hands and cupped his cheeks. Initiating what Damian started.
