"I knew it, Ash Stormclaw! You're taking breaks when you were supposed to be hunting!" Silver, the leader, growled.
What? Thorn did! Not me! Ash wanted to yell but his body betrayed him, he lowered instead. "What? I didn't rest at all! Right guys?" He looked around at his packmates.. who didn't seem to care at all.
"Why should we care? You're just a mutt!" Thorn snickered.
"Hound him out!" Silver growled, tail lashing. "On it!" Briar lunged forward, claws scraping the dirt.
Ash barely dodged his bites, while also trying to run away. What did I do? He pondered. He ran out of the den-site, his heart hammering against his ribs.
"Run away, little mutt," Thorn muttered under his breath. "And never come back again."

Ash kept on running until he reached the Lake of the Bay. He panted. Who knew his pack hated him so much? He padded towards the water, his heterochromia eyes stared into the water, his reflection is an instant catch.
"How am I ever gonna find a new pack again..?" His voiced was hollow. It felt hollow. Which was the worst of it.
His fur suddenly felt soaking wet. Rain? Now? He thought.
Ash looked around, hoping to find some.. or at least, shelter. But with his unlucky soul, none were to be found. "Stone-fang it.." he snarled. "Guess I'll have to keep on exploring…"
He turned around, padding straight into the forest. "These trees are taller than I anticipated." Ash looked around.
"And it seems like it's blocking the rain."

After a few steps, a quick, rustle of leaves flew. That alone, made him shiver.
"H-hey.. why did the wind suddenly get.. get so… strong..?" He shook his head with disapproval as leaves around him swirled.
~Swoosh~
Okay, it's getting heavier!
"Psst!"
Ash whipped around. "Who's there?!" He snarled.

A wolf stepped out from the trees.
Then another.
Ash froze.
The first wolf sniffed the air.
"… wait."
The second wolf tilted their head.
"Isn't that the mutt Silver chased out?"
Ash's heart skipped.
How did they know that?
