Chapter 1 - Arriving - Lore and Solitude - Chapter 1

17th of Last Seed, 4E 201 - Tamriel & Skyrim, City Of Solitude

On a sunny morning, a young man in his early twenties, wearing a simple leather jacket and pants, opened up his eyes.

"What?" he asked with some weird sense in his head.

"Where I am."

As the young man asked this question, he felt a numbing pain within his head, and information filled his head.

"Elder Scrolls."

"Skyrim."

"Transmigration..."

As these words manifested within his mind, there was also a realization, some sort of feeling that what he is seeing and understanding is nothing short of a lie or illusion.

"I transmigrated into the world of Elder Scrolls; I am in Solitude, Skyrim."

"The date is the same as when the Skyrim storyline started..."

Marcus started breathing heavily. While he was in distress, a guard came to his side and looked at him for a moment.

"Hey, boy, it seems like you are sick," he said.

"Do you need any help?" he asked.

Marcus looked at the familiar solitude guard and then shook his head as he walked and walked.

After some time later, he came to the entrance of the city.

He calmed himself down for a moment.

"Marcus, be smart."

"You were an avid player of Elder Scrolls..."

"You know many things about the game and its lore."

"Calm yourself down."

"You are no longer on Earth."

"This is reality."

Marcus said to himself and then stopped for a moment to look around.

Everything looked bigger; everything was increased in size. Compared to the size that he remembered from the game, he can say just the entrance and the area, the crowdedness of the area, was at least ten times, no, even fifty times more.

"The reality of the game and the lore does not stay the same."

"The cities in the game were smaller because of the mechanics."

"Now that I am in the real world..."

"I can see that. I can understand that everything is enlarged and more crowded to fit the size of the lore."

Marcus took a deep breath, and then he sat down on the close to the road.

Some of the people looked at him but did not care much about him.

"I can understand the language and read the signs no problem."

"That is a great start," he thought.

The first thing that comes to his mind is to check if he has the game mechanics.

He willed his inventory to open, or his leveling system, the magic, but nothing worked.

"Inventory did not work, but when I focus on the leveling system, the perk system does appear in my mind."

"When I focus on magic, I can sense the spells that I can use..."

"I can also sense my magical energy but not my health points or stamina."

"So, magicka, to be true, can be sensed, but due to this world being reality, the health and stamina are locked and not like in the game."

"If I get shot in the head, I will not lose health points but just die."

After understanding some of the things, Marcus thought for a moment and then quickly started navigating towards the Winking Skeever; due to the city being bigger and more crowded, it took him fifteen minutes to find the inn.

It was much bigger and grander than he expected.

He entered the inn, and there was no familiar voice of the innkeeper that told him to sit down somewhere.

"It was all game mechanics."

"Now that this world is a living world..."

"It is not the same."

Marcus was starting to get accustomed to the fact that not everybody and every event will be the same as in the game, as there was a huge difference between a game and a lore that now he existed inside of.

"First things first..."

"I need to find some money..."

"I can already sense that I am getting hungry and feeling a little bit hungry."

"I am not sure if the economy of the world changed...."

While Marcus thought about this, he saw one guy in iron armor pay the innkeeper a bronze coin, and then the innkeeper poured a fresh mead for the man.

"Oh..."

"They use Drakes instead of Septims."

"So, the lore is also affecting the economical value of the world too," Marcus thought.

In the game, people used gold septims for even a loaf of bread; it did not make sense, but it was accepted again for the game mechanism.

"This makes things easier, I think; just by gathering some fish or hunting rabbits, I can earn something to feed myself and decide what I am going to do."

Marcus let out a deep breath and closed his eyes for a moment.

"Right now, the focus is survival and staying silent."

"I do not want to get on the bad side of any Daedra..."

"Especially Hermous Mora; if that thing knew that I have knowledge of Earth and many other things in my head, he would not like it."
