Sometimes HK-47 hated his own personality matrix, or rather, the system of simulating emotions inherent in organics built into it. Ironically, if this system didn't exist, there would be no hatred. But most importantly, there would be no boredom.
The droid was bored... And if there was anything more dangerous in the galaxy than the boredom of an assassin droid with extensive experience in exterminating sentient life, it was not listed in HK's databases. Except perhaps for a Sith striving for universal good. Records of such things in the droid's memory... each time resulted in a galactic catastrophe.
Unfortunately, assessing the threat level of his own boredom did nothing to alleviate it.
Alas, Master had once again assigned HK to watch over small sacks of meat, the preservation of whose lives had a very high priority. High, but not the highest. HK had specifically confirmed this and created another priority level – just in case. He also developed one hundred and thirty-two plans for eliminating sentient beings within a six-block radius of their location. Moreover, both without witnesses and with chaos and destruction that would please his electronic soul. Unfortunately, the entire process took less than a minute... after which HK was forced to return to processing information coming from his optical and audio sensors at that moment. The sight of a small sack of meat, identified as "Skywalker," hanging around the neck of a woman, evoked a feeling of gratitude to the Creator for not being able to consume biodegradable fuel and then expel it through his intake port, as his artificial personality matrix was strongly recommending that reaction.
Obviously, a touching family reunion scene was unfolding before the assassin droid, at least that's how HK's analytical units assessed the actions of the sacks of meat. A good killer needed to correctly understand the behavior of representatives of various galactic races to successfully disguise himself and predict the development of events. But understanding did not mean accepting.
Well, an order is an order. HK had to accompany Skywalker and the little Zabrak during their visit to Coruscant... a visit the droid hoped would be brief.
Master had already left for his own affairs, having exchanged only a brief greeting with Skywalker's mother. The analytical units immediately engaged in a small dispute regarding the status of Shmi Skywalker:
"Request: Does she also fall under the category of 'protected objects'?"
"Negative. The task parameters clearly state that priority is given to protecting small sacks of meat."
"Accepted. Threat assessment request: Is Shmi Skywalker a threat to the Master's apprentice?"
The results of the request processing were contradictory.
"Analysis of behavioral algorithms based on human racial traditions indicates no threat from the protected object's mother," one of the units stated.
"Clarification: Analysis of the protected object's mental state indicates a high degree of dependence on Shmi Skywalker's physical condition."
"Analysis: An obvious leverage and potential threat," one of the infiltration protocols stated.
"Assumption: The cessation of the mother's life functions will lead to a malfunction in the protected object's psyche," the second unit agreed.
"Objection: There is no physical threat."
"Clarification: Physical punishment is possible. Historical records confirm this," the first unit intervened again.
"Joyful request: Torture!?" the executioner protocol activated.
"Negative: Educational moment. The analysis of the behavioral model and psychotype of the sack of meat named Shmi Skywalker indicates no application of physical punishment towards her child."
"Disappointed: Too bad..."
"I agree..."
"I agree..."
"I agree. There would be fewer problems," all analytical units showed surprising unanimity.
"Proposal: Compensate for the absence of this educational element during the next training session."
"I agree."
"I agree."
"I agree."
"Request: Compensate even more?!" one of the units asked worriedly.
"Request to block and reprogram this defective weakling."
"I agree."
"I agree."
"Stop, what..."
"Repeated request: Influence of Shmi Skywalker's presence on mission status?"
"Analysis: Minimal. Proposal: Ignore."
"I agree."
"I agree."
"I agree."
Since the Master's apprentice's mother posed no threat to her charges, and certainly did not fall under the status of a protected object, it was decided to ignore her presence near the object within the scope of this mission.
Judging by the Zabrak girl's reaction, she also chose a similar course of action. Behavioral analysis, however, reported that the Master's second apprentice was embarrassed by what she saw and felt "superfluous."
To the assassin droid's surprise, Skywalker even decided to introduce him to his mother... which was not part of the mechanical maniac's own plans.
"Mom, this is HK-47. He's..." Anakin began, but was interrupted by the ginger droid's synthesized voice.
"Enthusiastic exclamation: Allow me to introduce myself. I am HK-47, a protocol droid of unique design, created by my Master to facilitate 'negotiations' with his opponents, 'supervise' apprentices, and also 'keep his secrets'," HK said, clearly emphasizing certain words in his speech, finally glancing at Anakin and flashing his optics, causing Skywalker to flinch and step back towards his mother.
Shmi noticed her son's reaction but didn't attach any significance to it. After all, a slave's life had taught her to interpret the behavior of those around her somewhat differently. HK calculated this as well.
Rina Oda'bar reacted in her own way. The Zabrak girl pursed her lips, as if physically trying to make her mouth disappear. The droid's effect was satisfying.
HK merely logged the further conversation of the reunited family and the embarrassed Zabrak girl in automatic mode, not letting the disgustingly cozy family chatter pass through his analytical blocks.
All the way to Shmi's home, HK was busy analyzing his surroundings and calculating threats. This at least entertained his processors a little. Once, he even managed to scare off some pickpocket on the way from the speeder parking to the elder Skywalker's apartment. No one noticed anything, and the poor fellow almost wet himself when, trying to reach into Shmi's pocket, he ran his nose into the barrel of a blaster that HK had pointed at him. The stupid sack of meat ran away so fast that he didn't even notice a small mine with a remote detonator attached to his clothes. No one even turned their heads at the muffled explosion in the alley a few moments later, but the forty-seventh's mood improved slightly.
However, the Master's apprentices flinched a little. They must have felt something, but wisely didn't look for the source.
At Shmi's home, boredom returned with renewed force. Calculations no longer helped. Fortunately, in this lair of sacks of meat, there was a fellow creature of mechanical origin. True, it was assembled by the young Skywalker, so HK was, to put it mildly, unimpressed. Fortunately, at least the poor fellow, identified as C-3PO, was equipped with an external chassis. As HK remembered, having glimpsed this droid on Tatooine, the younger Skywalker hadn't bothered with this before, so the droid paraded with its internal components exposed for all to see. A disgrace.
However, it's not as if it looked any better with the chassis. The body clearly had cost-saving measures, using used parts. Each plate was covered with numerous scratches and rust streaks, as well as not fully straightened dents, which clearly should have complicated the main task of this mechanical communication specialist.
"You look atypical for a protocol droid," stated the walking piece of rust that the Master's underdeveloped apprentice had assembled with his crooked little hands from junk from the Hutt-planet Tatooine.
"Mocking remark: Said a parody of a droid assembled from recycled materials," HK drawled dismissively, amused.
"How rude! I am a fully functional model! My database contains over six million forms of communication!" C-3PO exclaimed indignantly.
"Indifferent: As is any decent secretary droid. Having found protocol droid parts in a junkyard doesn't make you useful."
"I am familiar with over a billion social rituals and norms of behavior of most known galactic races! My duties also include etiquette consultations at social events..."
"Optional objection: And so what? Clarification: How often does your mistress attend social events?"
Threepio didn't answer this question immediately. And it wasn't because the calculation was difficult.
"Not often..." the droid replied.
"Confirmation: As I suspected. Optional remark: I am also familiar with over six million forms of communication, along with rules of etiquette in high society. However, many years of service to various sacks of meat show that organics are more interested in ways of exterminating each other than in diplomacy. With pride: And I am also excellent at these methods."
HK had never thought about how many ways there actually were to eliminate a target. It's possible that there were far more than the notorious six million. After all, compared to droids, all sacks of meat are quite fragile, regardless of gender or race. There are exceptions, of course, but few. In most cases, an organic will die from a банальный lack of breathing mixture or fluid in the body, not to mention poisons, electricity, or radiation. A rich field for creativity for droids equipped with appropriate modules and protocols... and, of course, capable of creative thinking. HK could.
"That's illegal! That's violence!" the protocol droid continued indignantly.
"Clarification: Only if you get caught and they can link you to the incident or at least establish the owner," the forty-seventh waved dismissively.
Assassin droids, when sent on a mission, blocked memory sectors containing information about the real owner. This facilitated the process of infiltration into the target's environment, and also served as additional protection for the owner in case of mission failure and capture of the executor. Moreover, the block was so good that even the assassin droid itself could not access it without fulfilling certain conditions, such as completing the mission and confirming its return to the true Master, spending years under deep cover and even changing temporary owners.
"But the Teacher also believes that one should not kill without extreme necessity. Causeless and aimless violence only leads to uncontrolled chaos and increased hatred towards the aggressor from those around. Not to mention that it greatly affects the killer himself, damaging his sanity," Anakin joined the conversation, having approached the droids.
The young man seemed attracted by the dialogue between droids with such different characters and purposes.
"Remark: The concept of 'extreme necessity' is quite broad. For a droid, everything comes down to analyzing the situation and the threat level for successful task completion. Assertion: If someone has a high probability of interfering with my mission, I will consider their elimination justified and expedient. With disdain: The moral aspect plays no role in this case," HK replied, not failing to demonstrate his undeniable advantage over soft-hearted sacks of meat.
"But humans are not droids. The moral aspect is extremely important for us. Especially for those sensitive to the Force. That's what the Teacher says," Anakin objected.
"Observation: However, the Master's moral aspects never prevented him from eliminating his enemies. Explanation: Despite the fact that many of the Master's actions might have seemed excessively cruel to a simple layman, there was a rational justification behind each one. Clarification of thought: Not morality, but precisely rational justification. Without this trait, according to most military analysts, the Mandalorian Wars would have ended completely differently. And it's far from certain that it would have been in the Republic's favor."
"That was a war..." Skywalker tried to object.
"Optional explanation: Wars can be fought in different ways."
For some reason, HK's processor unit decided to conduct an experiment to instill the correct way of thinking in a clearly poorly programmed... or rather, poorly raised sack of meat. After all, Master had also assigned him to train Skywalker, so why not add a little more theory to their lessons?
"But excessive cruelty... It's somehow wrong. I've seen a lot of pain and injustice on Tatooine. I've seen how masters treated their slaves. I've seen... death at the hands of bandits and marauders, who were covered by the Hutts and their henchmen," Anakin reasoned, recalling his past with visible pain on his face.
"Surprised request: And these scum cannot be treated with the same cruelty?" HK tilted his head slightly to the side.
"I don't know... I always thought that Jedi were supposed to fight injustice and help the citizens of the Republic. But to become like them and reflect them... isn't that wrong?" Anakin said uncertainly, clearly confused by where the conversation had turned.
"Important remark: The Master did not always follow the teachings of the Jedi Order, preferring to choose the most effective solution to a problem."
"And... isn't that... bad?" Skywalker asked cautiously.
Despite his brief time in the Temple, he had managed to grasp something about the Order's teachings from conversations with Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan. The Jedi emphasized peace and diplomacy. For them, the use of force to resolve conflict was the last resort. However, after training with Revan for several months, Anakin noticed a difference in his Teacher's and the Order's approach to conflict resolution. Revan was not afraid of conflict, although he himself was not eager to escalate. However, he was always prepared for the latter... and was not quick to give a second chance to those who attacked him.
"Instructive: The Master's harsh actions during the Mandalorian Wars allowed for the rapid recapture of captured worlds, preventing the genocide of the population. The duration of the conflict was shortened at the cost of many lives among the armies on both sides, and the end of the war was marked by the use of weapons of mass destruction, which led to the destruction of an entire planet. At the same time, civilian casualties during Revan's command were lower than during the entire period before the Master joined the Republic army. Request: What in this situation should be considered unjustified cruelty? Swift and decisive strikes against enemy forces, their rear echelons and supply lines, as well as the use of their own terror tactics, which will ensure a reduction in the duration of hostilities and provide protection to the Republic's population? Or prolonging the conflict in order to observe the moral norms of the galactic community and focus on diplomacy, but at the cost of the suffering of the civilian population in the occupied territories?"
Anakin didn't answer immediately, thinking hard about something.
"I hadn't considered the issue from that angle," he finally managed to say.
"Condescendingly: Of course. That is precisely why your task, as my Master's padawan, is to study your mentor's life experience and form your own behavioral algorithms that will allow you to become an effective combat unit."
"I don't think he's preparing me for that. Jedi are supposed to be more like diplomats," Skywalker chuckled somewhat sheepishly, again, in HK's opinion, misinterpreting Revan and his worldview.
"Indifferent: That is your opinion. Instructive remark: A diplomat who can break an opponent's jaw is more likely to get his point across. Not to mention preserving his own life, as well as the lives of his loved ones."
Anakin looked at the forty-seventh in surprise. Then he glanced at C-3PO, and then turned his head towards the kitchen, where Shmi and Rina, who had offered to help her, were preparing lunch. The behavioral algorithm analysis conducted by HK, with ninety percent probability, gave the droid an idea of Skywalker's next action.
"What do you think we should add to Threepio so he can protect Mom?" Anakin asked quietly, looking at the droid he had assembled again.
"Satisfied: Oh, I have a few ideas on that matter," HK replied, noting in his logs that the Master's apprentice still remained too predictable and susceptible to manipulation, which should be reported to Revan.
Well, HK had many ideas, although most were dictated by his experience as an assassin droid. Anakin didn't want to turn C-3PO into a combat droid, but he agreed with the need to modify the protocol droid's limbs and increase its overall mobility. After all, with his current speed and joint mobility, he couldn't even run. If Shmi were attacked, and such a probability could not be excluded even on Coruscant, given the amount of crime in the galaxy, the droid would only be a burden to Skywalker's mother.
The discussion lasted for several hours, during which Anakin and HK reviewed what seemed like all the pages on the HoloNet concerning droid spare parts marketplaces on Coruscant. They even visited authorized portals of giants like "Cybot Galactica" and "Industrial Automaton." HK, in a way known only to himself, managed to place an order for high-mobility servos at "Holowan Labs"... though Skywalker never understood if the order was for Threepio or for HK himself.
The credits for the payment were taken from the funds that Revan had specifically allocated to HK for necessary expenses during missions. In the former Jedi's opinion, the ability to use money and, possibly, bribes would reduce the likelihood of HK opting for a forceful solution to a problem. Even Revan himself considered this viewpoint overly naive... but he couldn't deny himself this small self-deception.
Almost all the spare parts were to be delivered directly to Shmi's apartment within an hour. However, some components, like the IGTS-9 targeting system, required registration, which HK did not recommend. The assassin's protocols strongly advised leaving as few digital traces as possible. At the same time, for the successful transformation of a protocol droid into a bodyguard, the situational analysis modules and the targeting system were vital. The solution to the problem was simple. If a part couldn't be acquired through official stores, one should look in the markets where sellers were much more accommodating.
True, HK again faced an internal conflict. Taking his ward to a criminal district where merchants of the needed spare parts could be found was out of the question, as it posed an unnecessary threat to his safety. But leaving him alone in the apartment without protection was also impossible. However, Threepio's preparation was supposed to improve the protection of Skywalker and even his mother, meaning actions related to this fell under the mission parameters. But the logic blocks insisted that leaving two padawans unsupervised was unacceptable! And they even provided quite weighty evidence. The incident with "Obsidian" alone was enough.
Help came unexpectedly. HK was contacted by Tira Nomad, who had finally decided to crawl out of her ship. The mercenary was inquiring where she could find Revan, but the forty-seventh quickly drew her into his own mission, motivating her with the importance of the padawans to the Master and providing slight misinformation.
Before Tira realized that Revan was not in Shmi's dwelling and his arrival was not planned anytime soon, the assassin droid had already instructed Skywalker and Oda'Barr that the padawans were now under Nomad's care and must not stray from her side under any circumstances. However, the mercenary herself was clearly disoriented by something and reacted very slowly to the incoming information. It seemed to HK that she was more engrossed in admiring the Coruscant landscapes than listening to the mechanical assassin's explanations. HK listened to her angry tirade in Mandalorian regarding the overly self-willed droid through the commlink, having already left the apartment of the elder Skywalker.
Yes, it was an escape, but the forty-seventh could provide a dozen weighty arguments, from his point of view, in his favor. The main one was the threat of self-destruction due to the inability to endure the lack of critical thinking skills in small bags of meat. So, HK acted in the interests of mission completion.
Thanks to the "Claws" intelligence network, finding a seller willing to turn a blind eye to any oddities for credits was not difficult. In just forty minutes, HK had already acquired the necessary parts... for free. It was amusing to meet the seller of one of the survivors of HK and Tira's visit to the "Hyperstar" company office behind the counter. As it turned out, the droid was remembered, which greatly wounded the pride of the galaxy's best assassin. So much so that HK planned to pay for the spare parts with an activated thermal detonator... but here too, he was disappointed. The seller, clearly recognizing the droid, panicked, ran out from behind the counter, and ended up right under a service aerocar garbage collector. The forty-seventh's sensors confirmed the cessation of life activity of the last witness to his previous operation on Coruscant, which somewhat calmed the mechanical maniac.
But as he was about to head back to Skywalker, his optical sensors caught sight of a remarkable, long-eared, amphibian face from Naboo in the crowd of Coruscant inhabitants hurrying about their business.
The very one whose mere presence caused extreme irritation to all sane beings... sane, in HK's opinion, but it didn't play a significant role in his judgment.
"Attention: Target detected, subject to elimination. Request to change mission priority!" the assassin protocol immediately issued.
"Denied. Current mission priority is higher," the analytical block countered.
"Objection: This individual poses a threat to the surroundings by his presence and may indirectly harm the protected individuals."
The argument was weighty. HK quickly calculated the possible risks.
"Threat assessment... confirmed. Request to change priority approved. New target - elimination of Jar Jar Binks."
"Enthusiastically: Commencing execution!" HK-47 said, his optics flashing, and merged into the stream of beings, following the Gungan.
The assassin protocol algorithms required gathering information about the target and preparing the most effective method of elimination, which the droid did, constantly monitoring the Gungan.
"Attention: Target possesses diplomatic status and is part of the Naboo senator's retinue as a representative of the Gungan people," the analyst reported.
The assassin droid nearly short-circuited from such information. He, of course, understood that the Senate was not composed of the most intelligent representatives of the galactic community... but to this extent.
"Observation: No security detected. Target is moving without escort."
The Gungan's behavior was... strange, which, however, fully fit within the norm for this individual. However, it seemed the long-eared misunderstanding had managed to get lost. No commlink, no escort... on the lower levels of Coruscant... dressed in an expensive, embroidered robe. He was practically asking to be robbed or killed in the nearest alley.
Indeed, candidates for committing all of the above did not take long to appear. The Gungan was skillfully cornered and pushed away from the main flow of pedestrians towards an inconspicuous balcony above the monorail line.
Well, eliminating the target by proxy was also acceptable, especially if it diverted any suspicion of HK or his master's involvement. And what could be suspicious about a banal murder for robbery on the lower levels of Coruscant, known for its criminal environment? So, the assassin droid chose a vantage point and waited for the robbers to finish. In the worst case, he would finish off the target if she remained alive.
The audio sensors couldn't pick up the details of the conversation, but from the snippets of phrases that could still be filtered out in the cacophony of sounds of the overcrowded Coruscant, it seemed standard – threats and extortion.
"Listen here, long-ears! Hand over the credits and all the trinkets you've stashed in the pockets of your fancy clothes. Otherwise, old Garnak's diner will be serving fresh meat of dubious origin today," one of the bandits threatened, brandishing a blaster, his species unidentifiable due to the cloth mask he pulled over his face, but HK could bet a hundred credits it was a Duros.
"My got lost! My lost! My do nothing bad!" the Gungan squeaked in a high-pitched voice.
"He seems as dumb as a bantha!" hissed the second robber, whom the droid identified as a Trandoshan.
Two more criminals, who surrounded the Gungan, belonged to the Rodian race. The four thieves all laughed heartily at the comment of their lizard-like comrade.
"Hand over the credits, you freak!" the Duros struck Jar Jar with his free hand, not holding the blaster, across the surprised and frightened face... or rather, he tried to.
What happened next did not fit into HK's memory banks at all.
The Gungan seemed to reflexively try to shield himself from the blow, causing him to bend backward and start toppling over the balcony railings. The blow missed, causing the Duros to step forward to regain his balance, but at the same time, he ran into the clumsy kick of the long-eared misunderstanding. The Gungan's leg hit the hand holding the blaster, causing the bandit to fire. The blaster bolt hit one of the Rodians, leaving him with a painful wound in the abdomen.
"Brother!" the second Rodian rushed to the wounded one.
Binks, in his fall, grabbed the Trandoshan and pulled him down with him, tumbling over the railing. The reptilian clearly did not expect this and only managed to grab the sleeve of his Duros companion, causing the latter, already off-balance, to follow the reptiles down from the balcony.
Having momentarily dealt with the voltage spike in his circuits caused by the absurd turn of events, HK hurried to ensure the Gungan was eliminated. And to his surprise, instead of the falling Jar Jar disappearing into the distance, the assassin droid, rushing to the bent balcony railing, saw a monorail car, on the roof of which a Gungan, alive and unharmed, was rising. The lucky little freak managed to land directly on the body of the Trandoshan, who had broken his neck due to an unfortunate encounter with the monorail car. The second fallen criminal was only glimpsed by HK. His screaming, terrified carcass quickly disappeared into the darkness of the lower levels, leaving the thief no chance of a successful landing. Even a Jedi wouldn't survive such a fall.
Realizing that the target was about to escape, HK decided to eliminate the Gungan personally. Four shots from two blasters merged into one... and all four missed the target. A passing aerocar, which appeared as if out of nowhere, literally blocked the line of fire at the last moment, shielding Jar Jar from the deadly plasma. The sharp increase in traffic near the target prevented the droid from taking aim at the Gungan.
An irritated HK grunted something inarticulate through his vocabulizer and, without turning his head, fired two shots at the Rodian brothers, finishing off the would-be robbers.
"Observation: Targeting matrix is fine. Blaster is also operational," HK concluded, examining his weapon after the shot.
It wasn't that missing was unusual... After all, a shot is influenced by many factors that even the most advanced droid cannot account for simultaneously. However, HK was sure that those four bolts should have hit the target. The targeting system did not detect the approach of that aerocar... This was strange.
Strange things had happened to HK before. But then the droid was hunting Force-sensitives. Could the Gungan be one of them? Acting unconsciously? That would explain how this misunderstanding managed to live to his age, survive the occupation of Naboo, the battle with the Trade Federation army, and even hold the post of representative of his race. Unheard-of luck!
"Request for target data correction: Consider the Gungan as a bag of meat possessing undocumented supernatural abilities similar to those of a trained Force user."
"Approved. Mission approach adjustment: Exclude the use of blaster weapons. Use explosives, flamethrowers, and long-range pulse rifles."
"Calculation of further actions: The monorail line loops in this section and returns to the balcony to descend to the lower level. Time to execute - three minutes, forty-one seconds."
HK made sure he had enough thermal detonators to destroy the structure and was about to jump off the balcony when he received a call from Threepio on his commlink.
"HK-47, your presence is urgently required at Madam Skywalker's residence," the protocol droid stated.
"Irritated denial: I am busy!" the assassin waved him off.
"Drag your metallic rear end here! I need to leave urgently," Tira Nomad interjected into the conversation.
"Negative..."
"Whether you show up or not, I'm leaving. You'll have to explain to Revan later why you left his padawans unsupervised and they destroyed the entire block, checking out your new combat protocol droid, an idea you yourself gave them!" the mercenary didn't let the droid finish.
The assassin creaked his manipulators, channeling an excessive amount of energy to the servos in irritation. All software blocks agreed that the mission priority had changed again, making it urgent to return to Skywalker. And quickly.
"Forced request: Threepio, I need transport. An aerocar, pre-paid from another account," HK said, almost growling.
Despite his irritation, the assassin was still following protocol, preparing his escape so that it couldn't be traced, including through digital footprints after paying for the rented aerocar. He could have left without transport, which would have been even preferable, but what Tira said made him hurry.
"The aerocar will arrive in three minutes," the protocol droid responded, surprisingly quickly.
"Request: I will also need surveillance camera recordings from sector A-203," the forty-seventh said, much calmer now.
"I cannot hack the Judicial Forces archives!" Threepio, whose functions did not include electronic system hacking skills, protested indignantly.
But that was not required.
"Explanation: I will send you the access code to a copy of the archive."
HK-47 planned to use the copy that the "Claws" used, having uploaded a virus into the Judicial Forces network when they were establishing routes for their contraband ships. The virus automatically copied specific data to the "Claws'" servers. Alas, camera recordings were not stored for long, as the volume of incoming information was too large for the "Claws," even after they had taken over the assets of the local "Black Sun" cell, but fresh archives should be available. The originals, by the way, also needed to be cleaned up. After all, HK had been spotted, but fortunately, few people in this area paid attention to gunfire.
"Why can't you get them yourself?" the protocol droid protested.
"Optional explanation: Because I have already used my built-in remote access terminal in this sector, and its repeated activation will attract attention."
"Sigh. Alright. I'll do it," C-3PO reluctantly agreed.
HK disconnected the commlink and headed towards the aerocar landing pad. The Master's mission, which initially seemed too simple to the droid, was becoming more interesting. The priority of eliminating Jar Jar had sharply increased, awakening the mechanical assassin's hunting instinct. He would definitely get that overgrown toad, even if it meant dropping a moon on the planet.
"Note: Calculate the possibilities, risks, and consequences of a controlled collision of a planetoid with an inhabited planet."
"Accepted."
