Chapter 5: Part 2
Ella walked into her dorm gently, trying not to wake Sapphire.
She placed the box on the side table.
"I'll unbox you tomorrow," she whispered.
She yawned softly as she stretched her hands, then lay down on her bed.
The morning sun peeked through the window.
Ella yawned again, her hair a complete mess.
Her eyes landed on Sapphire, who was sitting comfortably and taking her usual morning tea.
Sapphire's eyes shifted from her phone to Ella, who was sitting on top of her bed, lost in thought.
"The ball is this evening."
Ella nodded lightly. "Are you going?"
Sapphire sipped from her cup. "Might."
"Hmm," Ella murmured.
Suddenly Sapphire's eyes widened as if she remembered something.
"Your dress! What are you going to wear?"
Ella looked at her and smiled lightly.
"It's by your left. Don't tell me you didn't notice the box beside you all this while."
Sapphire turned to the box and gave her a small smile.
"Come down from your bed so we can open the box together."
Ella quickly got down. Her eyes glanced at the box and noticed a logo on it.
"It's Henry's family company's logo," Sapphire said.
Ella looked at it again. "Oh really?"
Sapphire nodded.
They both glanced at each other with smiles.
Ella looked at the box again. "Open it already," she said with a soft chuckle.
Sapphire slowly opened the box, increasing Ella's excitement.
The moment the box was opened, both of their eyes widened as they looked at each other and then back at the dress.
"It's stunning," Ella said.
"It's perfect," Sapphire replied.
"Am I actually going to wear this?"
Sapphire chuckled. "Yes, you are."
Suddenly—
Ding!
Ella's alarm rang, drawing their attention away from the dress.
Ella's eyes widened.
"Oh shoot! I'm late for class!"
She quickly jumped up and ran into the bathroom.
"I thought you're going for the ball," Sapphire said.
"It's not until this evening. Or by now you wouldn't even be able to talk to me. Henry would have sent his whole makeup team already."
"Ohh," Sapphire said.
She stood up from her seat. "I'm heading out."
"No class?" Ella asked.
"Yeah."
"K. Bye. Have a wonderful day," Ella said.
"And you too," Sapphire replied before closing the door.
In no time, Ella was done dressing.
She packed her long blonde hair into a high ponytail and adjusted her top. She quickly wore her shoes and ran out of her door.
The hallway was a bit packed with students since most of them had morning classes.
Ella checked her wristwatch.
"It's seven-thirty… class starts by eight… it takes ten minutes to get to the next building and five minutes to climb the stairs."
Ella hugged her books to her chest as she hurried forward.
Today's lecturer was none other than her elder sister—not Ruka, but Ami, the second born after Ruka.
Although she was only twenty-four, she had always had a passion for teaching. The problem was that she was a very strict lecturer, especially with Ella.
And unfortunately for Ella, this class was her main course.
Ella sighed and began to run.
If she didn't get to class on time, her sister would definitely mark her attendance absent.
By the time Ella reached the building, she was already breathing heavily, but she didn't stop.
Someone was walking in front of her, but she didn't notice until she ran straight into him.
Her books scattered across the floor.
Ella quickly bent down to pick them up.
When she looked up, the boy was already helping her gather them.
He didn't look annoyed.
"Sorry," he said.
Ella shook her head.
"No need to apologize. I'm the one who should say sorry. I was just rushing to class and didn't see you."
She smiled gently.
That was when her eyes finally focused on his face.
Her heart skipped.
The guy in front of her was the most angelic being her eyes had ever seen.
His silky brown hair.
His golden-brown eyes.
And a tiny little beauty mark close to his right eye.
Ella's gaze slowly moved to his pink lips… then to his chest… down to his long legs.
He was wearing a simple T-shirt and blue jeans, but it was obvious his clothes were from a luxury store.
Her eyes were about to move down to his shoes when the boy suddenly spoke.
"I'll get going."
His voice was calm and steady.
Ella looked back up at his face.
"Oh… bye," she whispered.
He walked away.
That was when it suddenly dawned on her.
"Class!"
She yelled and began running up the stairs again.
She didn't even dare check the time anymore.
Luckily, when she got to class, her sister hadn't entered yet.
Ella quickly settled down and arranged her books. The classroom was already filled. Almost no student dared to miss Ami's class or come late.
Even though Ami was strict, her class was still very interesting, and students understood everything she taught.
Ami's blue eyes scanned the entire classroom carefully until they landed on Ella.
Like the rest of Ella's siblings, Ami was perfectly beautiful and alluring. That was the main reason many guys never missed her class—they were always eager to answer questions just to get her attention.
Just as Ami was about to call Ella out, a knock sounded on the classroom door.
Ami's eyes shifted from Ella to the door.
"Come in."
A lady walked in. Her aura was calm, her black hair packed neatly into a bun, and her glasses rested perfectly on her nose.
The students immediately stood up, sending confused glances at each other.
She leaned closer and whispered something into Ami's ear.
"There's a new student, and he's a VVIP student, so please…"
Ami nodded gently.
She stretched out her hand, signaling for the boy to come in.
The students were quite surprised to see the MD enter their class. It was very rare to see her since she was usually in her office.
The MD smiled and waved at the students before leaving the classroom.
The students sat back down.
Then the boy walked in.
The entire class froze.
Even Ami's eyes were fixed on him as he entered.
Ella's eyebrows furrowed slightly as her eyes landed on the boy.
"What is he doing here?" she muttered, her hands tightening around the textbook she held.
