Allen woke up and turned to see an pecking the window. He frowned and opened the window. The owl landed on his table and just stared at him with a letter in it's beak. He grabbed the letter gently and froze. It has a seal with big shield that has a H symbol on it. Moreover it has four animals. Behind the letter there is his address.

Allen immediately opened the letter and read it. He is amused and also suspicious. Based on his memories, Harry Potter wouldn't be published at this time right? And why did they send him this letter? Could it be his identity as a reincarnator exposed? Who knows his secret? He certainly didn't tell anyone. Or is it really Hogwarts letter and he is in Harry Potter universe. He opened the letter and took a look.
Dear Mr Shafiq,
We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment. Term begins on 1 September. We await your owl by no later than 31 July.

Shafiq, if his memory serves him right, it seems to be a Pureblood houses. Then how did a Pureblood became an orphan? Could it be because his parents are both dead? There are two guesses here. They're killed in conflict with voldemort as they didn't want to join him or his parents death eaters who died in a way. How did he remeber this? He don't know after his Reincarnation, his memory seems to have received some kind of boost. He can even remember the tiniest details now. He possessed a Eidetic Memory now. As he is guessing a screen popped up suddenly.

Allen blinked. Shouldn't the novice reward be something very good. ' haa, looks like the fanfics can be deceiving. Forget it ', Allen sighed. Then he heard the owl screeching with an impatient look. He then remembered he needs to write a reply, quickly writing one he gave the letter to the owl.

Allen felt annoyed. Who want to establish a bond with an owl. He will waste a previous opportunity if he did that. There is a reward involving the first bond. So he will refuse that. He asked for explanation of the novice gift pack rewards.
First bond critical hit card allows one to obtain anything the other party possess. Though it can only be on the same level as the person. This is a one life time card. Can't be exchanged later in the mall. And anything that belongs to this category is also not available in the mall.
10x multiplier card allows one to obtain 10 times the emotion values. But the duration of this thing is too short. So nah, and lastly the random spell draw. He doesn't even have a wand. So it's also a no for now. He is going to get the 1st option.
As he selected the first option the screen vanished once again, seems like after purpose is achieved it will disappear soon. Allen didn't sit idle, he started experimenting with magic, he will create some trouble here and there after establishing the first bond. For that he needs necessary magic, his own non verbal spell.
So Allen started experimenting with magic, after knowing he possessed magic, it became quite simple, he just needs to concentrate on something while imagining the outcome then fluctuate his emotions a little. This is also quite tough, he first wanted to lift and throw some rocks from the distance, after many tried and shattering some rocks he managed to do it.
Next is the slippery spell, this one took lot of time, it isn't just imagining, it's controlling his own magic and with emotional fluctuations it became more unstable. He now understood why wizards needs wands. Those who can move their magic without an emotional fluctuation is quite rare and this way is very hard to practice. That's why many chose wands.
He transfigured the ground to spikes, gravel and even powder many times. And these are all accidental effects. Allen wants to see what's more he can do. He practiced control for that, trying to create fire or ice in his hands. Turns out imagining and doing it are two different things. He isn't able to do it, only smoke appeared rather fire. As for ice there is no change at all.
Allen tried using some spells non verbally. He first cast wingardium leviosa, it's much easier to use levitation magic like this. Even without a wand in few tries he managed to do it. But as he wanted to use more spells, he started getting dizzy and nauserous, yeah, he didn't think much about his magic reserves. He is been practicing for an hour or so now. His magic reserves may have been exhausted by now. For that day, he took rest and practiced magic one spell at a time and not continuously, he didn't want that feeling of magic exhaustion again.
