3 WEEKS LATER...
Jay's POV:
I woke up to my Alarm ringing like the world is ending and right on cue Jane pounded on the door and started threatening me
Jane: Jay, I will buy 100 Alarm clocks and hide them in your room, if you don't wake up!!!!
Geez!!! How does she get so harmless yet scary threats from??? Is there a "Threats for your oversleeping foodie younger sister" book?
Jay: I am getting up!!!!
I got up and realized that there are only 5 days left till Halloween. I am counting down the days, because I love Halloween. It is my favourite holiday!! By now, nothing has changed, which is odd, because in my world peace doesn't last long and I have a feeling the peace is about to end. Anyways, we are decorating the school for the Halloween party. Yes, we have a whole party for Halloween. Well, there won't be any Alcohol or anything. There are just events in our school we can participate in, like the best costume or like limbo, stop dance and Section E will probably play hide and seek in the whole school. Halloween is the only time, where Section E is allowed to play hide and seek in the school. Another fun thing is that we can pick a theme and decorate our classroom according to it. And the best decorated classroom will win and get a trophy. You can even bring your family members and friends from other schools to the party! So, I will definitely invite the F4. I think, Section E would love the surprise. I have told them that they won't be able to come, but they are definitely coming!
Jane: JAY, HURRY UP!!!!
Jay: COMING!!!!
I quickly got ready and went downstairs as fast as I could. I devoured breakfast and went to my car, only to find Jane's car gone. Tss, she went without me. I sped to school and ran into the building. The minute, I entered the door, the bell rang. Phew! I made it just in time!! The minute, I sat down the classroom got louder than it already was. I was about to ask Ci-n which theme we picked, when Sir Alvin went inside the classroom and taught us about the... uhhhh... honestly, I don't know, because I didn't really pay attention to Sir Alvin. Sorry, Sir Alvin!!!!My attention span is just as big as that of a goldfish. I just go blub blub blub!! And who can concentrate on math, when Halloween is coming up??? It is basically impossible!!! I was thinking about Vampires as a theme for our theme, when Sir Alvin called me up.
Sir Alvin: Miss Mariano, can you tell me the formula for the capital?
Jay: Oh, it is Interest divided by the Interest rate. Interest has the alphabet Z and the Interest rate has the alphabet p%.
Sir Alvin: Correct! At least someone is paying attention!
Phew! Got saved again! Good thing, I already knew this topic!!! Uff, I must have not been the only one zoning out. Tsk Tsk Tsk!! Ignore the fact that I didn't pay attention at all! Anyways, now I was safe for the rest of the lesson. In the last 10 minutes Sir Alvin suggested that we talk about the Halloween theme, since no one was paying attention.
Sir Alvin: What themes do you have in mind?
Felix: Haunted Mansion!!
Ci-n: Abandoned city!!
Drew: Zombie apocalypse!!
Blaster: Mummies!!
Eman: Clowns!!!
Eren: Let's recreate IT!!!
Jay and Jane: Vampires!!
I looked at Jane in shock. She thought of the same thing as me?! Wow, our twin telepathy is getting creepy! But I high fived Jane. After that we went into a full-on discussion about which theme is better.
Felix: What is creepy about an abandoned city??
Ci-n: Well, haunted mansion is so basic!!! Even amusement parks have haunted mansions. It is boring!!
Drew: What is creepy about Mummies??? They are basically unknown creatures wrapped in bandages and are depressed enough to live in coffins!!
Blaster: Well, the Zombie apocalypse is already the theme of Section B!!
Josh: Some people didn't watch IT, Eren!!! How are we supposed to recreate it??!!!
After a lot of discussing, I noticed that nobody objected to the Vampire and Clown idea
Jay: CALM DOWN!!
After that, the class quieted down
Jay (cleared her throat): So, I noticed nobody has nothing against Clowns and Vampires! Does anybody have anything against those ideas??
Everyone looked at each other and they shook their head in a no.
Jay: Great, so let's flip a coin!
The class nodded.
Jay: So, what is heads?
Ci-n: Vampires is heads, because they have heads and Clowns is tails, because they have tails!!
I was about to point out, that Clowns also have heads and that Clowns don't have tails, when Josh remarked
Josh: What kind of scary a** clown came to your birthday??!!!
Section E started laughing out loud
Calix: HAHAHAHAH!! HE HAS A POINT!!!
Denzel: HAHAHA!! Josh, you never fail us!!
Jay (slightly breathless from laughing): OK, let's move on! Vampires is heads, because Clowns don't have heads anymore, according to some people here *some classmates snickered* and Clowns is tails, because the new Gen Z has made Clowns with tails!
Section E burst out laughing again, even Sir Alvin couldn't hide a smile.
Ci-n: My bad, I must have mixed Clowns up with dragons
Keifer: So, you had a headless dragon on your birthday??
The class burst out laughing again.
Yuri: Buddy, you must be so traumatized *pats Ci-n on the shoulder*
Ci-n was just whining at this point.
Sir Alvin: Class, we just have a few minutes until class ends! Just flip the coin. Clowns is tails and Vampires is heads!
We flipped the coin and it landed on heads.
Sir Alvin: I guess, we have Vampires as a theme. Happy decorating!!!
After the lesson, we had a free period to decorate our classroom and it was pure chaos!
