Jane's POV (while Jayfer were out):
After Jay and Kiefer went out of the house, I asked Yuri
Jane: Are you sure you can cook? Our kitchen is... different
Yuri: Oh, I will be just fine
I didn't think more of it, so I just let him be. He can't burn our kitchen down... right?? Anyways, when Yuri went downstairs to the kitchen, Aries sat on the chair, where Jay was sitting and started entertaining me with jokes and embarrassing memories, when we were kids. After 15 minutes, we could smell smoke.
Jane: Yuri!! Are you ok??
Yuri: Yep... totally!!!
At that moment the smoke alarm started ringing.
Aries: Yuri, that doesn't sound fine!! *turns to Jane* I will come back.
I nodded. When Aries went down, I could hear laughter and yelling.
Aries POV:
When I went downstairs, I couldn't help laughing. Because Yuri was running around in panic, like an animal, who is chased by a lion! It looked so funny!!
Yuri: Yeah!! Laugh it up!!! Don't help me!! Just let the house burn down!
I helped him, while still laughing so hard, that my stomach was hurting.
Aries (mocks him in an exaggerated deep voice): HAHAHAHAHHAHA!!!! "Oh, I will be just fine"!!!!!
Yuri: How was I supposed to know, that their stove has literal knobs!!!! I thought it would be an electric stove!!!!!
Aries (still laughing): Jane said that their kitchen is different!
Yuri: Yeah! Well, I didn't know their stove is a gas stove!!!!
Jane (from upstairs, concerned): Are you guys ok???
Yuri: Yeah, everything is fine!!!!
After that Yuri attempted to make Adobo again and this time, I was with him to supervise his cooking and to teach him how to use the stove. After half an hour, the Adobo was made. We served it in a plate and brought it upstairs along with water.
Jane: Did you burn the kitchen down????
Yuri (same time as Aries): No!!
Aries (same time as Yuri): Almost!!
I laughed so hard
Aries: He was running around like a panicked rooster, who had heard an explosion!!!! It was hilarious!!! I should have made a video!!! You could see his messy red hair and his face was black!!! He looked like an angry bird!!
Yuri: It wasn't that bad!
Aries: It was!!!!
Jane started laughing and said
Jane: Aries isn't exaggerating. I could hear the laughing, yelling and frantic footsteps. And Yuri, you have a black smudge on your forehead.
Jane and I chuckled. Yuri gave her the plate
Yuri: Here your Adobo
Jane tasted and Yuri and I were waiting for her reaction.
Jane: Mmmm.... despite almost burning my kitchen down, you made an actual tasty adobo! But don't think you are allowed in my kitchen again!
Aries: Thank you!!!
Yuri: Whatever
After Jane finished her food, we went downstairs to wash the dishes and it turns out that the rooster can't wash the dishes, because you have to turn the dishwasher on and not wash it by hand.
Aries (while chuckling): I will turn it on. Who knows what you will do next??! Maybe you will fill the kitchen with soap!
Yuri just rolled his eyes. When I turned the dishwasher on, I was attacked by a cushion. It turns out Yuri threw a cushion at me. I was about to throw it back, when Jane called Yuri and I. Oh, I will take my revenge!
Jane: I am bored!
Yuri: What do you want to do?
Jane: I don't know!
Aries: We can play Uno
Jane: Yes!!!
I took the Uno out of her closet, because we got strict instructions from Jay to not make her stand for unnecessary tasks. I shuffled the cards and distributed 7 cards each. We played multiple rounds like that. Yuri was cheating, Jane was winning despite Yuri cheating and I am so bad at Uno, that I skipped every opportunity to give Yuri a 4+ card.
Yuri: Jane is cheating!
Jane: What??? If someone is cheating then it is you!
Yuri: Oh, please!
Aries: You are definitely cheating!
Yuri: At least I am not so bad at Uno, that I put a red card on a green card! Are you blind??
Aries: At least I am not cheating!
Yuri: You are so bad at this game that if you were playing against a dog, you would still lose!
Aries: Well, you are cheating and you are still losing against Jane!!
Yuri: Well, Jane is the princess of Uno!
Jane: True!
Aries: Are you seriously taking the rooster's side??
Jane: Yes
Aries (muttered): Of course, the wife always supports the husband
It seems like, Jane and Yuri heard me, because Yuri's ears turned a slight shade of pink and Jane was glaring, but blushing despite herself. I looked at the clock and saw it was 9 o'clock. Jane would usually sleep at this time, since she is a morning person, while Jay is the complete opposite. Jay goes to sleep at 11 o'clock.
Aries: Jane, you should go to sleep now
Jane yawned at that moment.
Jane: Ok
I kissed her forehead and Yuri kissed her cheek.
Aries: Ewww, don't do that in front of me!
Jane: then don't do your disgustingly cute things with Ella in front of Jay and I
Knowing that I lost the argument, I went out of the room and I went in Jay's room to get her pillows, since her room is next to Jane's. I knew what I had to do with Yuri. When Yuri went out of the room, I smacked the pillow against his head. Yuri ran past me and took a pillow from Jay's room and he started running towards me. I ran down the stairs, so I could protect myself and because I didn't want to disturb Jane's sleep. We started a pillow fight and ran everywhere in the house. We were so involved that we didn't notice the feathers floating in the air. We were so involved, that we didn't even hear the front door open and see two figures standing by the front door in shock. We were interrupted by someone clearing their throat.
Jay (whisper yelling): What on earth happened here!!! I leave you here for a few hours and this is what you do??!! And why does it smell like something burned in here??!!!
Yuri and I rubbed the back of our necks.
Aries: Actually, Yuri burned the Adobo
Yuri: Hey!!!! It was almost burned!!!
Aries: The smoke alarm went off!!!
Jay: The smoke alarm went off?!!!! And what are you doing with my pillows??!!
Aries: He started it!! He smacked me with a cushion!
Yuri: You kept laughing at me!!
Jay: Did you have a pillow fight with MY pillows???!!!!
Yuri (intimidated): Y-Yes
Jay: Well, great! My pillows don't have feathers anymore and the whole house is filled with feathers as if 100.000 chickens lived here!!!
Aries: Well, we have a rooster here
Yuri: Hey!!
I looked at Kiefer and Kiefer looked like he was struggling to stay serious. He looked like he was seconds before bursting out in laughter.
Kiefer: Jay, you go to sleep and we three clean the house, ok?
Jay: You better!!! Or I am haunting you three in school for a month!!!
After that Jay took the pillows from the guest bedroom and headed to bed, while we three were cleaning up, while laughing quietly. After cleaning everything up, we drove home.
