"Sleep all you want, sleepyhead… because after tonight, there won't be any trace of you left."
I said those words while looking down at my former bully , Ryan .
This guy made my school life a living hell and if that wasn't enough…
He killed my dog.
Tonight was our class party. Everyone was there—music, drinks, laughter. It was the perfect place. No one notices small things in a crowd.
I slipped the drug into his drink while everyone was distracted. After a while he started feeling dizzy and went outside for some air.
Everything was just like I expected.
I followed him quietly and waited until no one was around.
Then I moved.
One hit from behind was enough. His body dropped instantly.
And now here he was… lying in front of me like a baby sleeping peacefully.
How ironic.
I slowly put on the gloves I brought with me and took an insulin injection out of my bag.
"Don't worry," I muttered quietly. "That calm face of yours won't disappear."
I put my hand in his mouth and grabbed his tongue and forced the needle in.
The dose was more than enough. If anyone were to discover his body before decomposition , medical reports would blame everything on undiagnosed diabetes .
When I finished, I wiped the injection clean and packed everything back into my bag.
Then I carried his body to my car.
The drive took nearly two hours. I chose an old hunting ground far outside the city. No houses, no people, nothing but empty forest and barren roads.
The night was silent.
Only the sound of my engine breaking the darkness.
When I finally reached the place, I dragged Ryan's body to the spot I had prepared earlier.
A twelve-foot-deep hole.
Digging it had taken me days.
Without hesitation, I pushed his body into the pit. It hit the bottom with a dull thud.
Then I started filling the hole.
Six feet of dirt.
That was the moment the final part of my plan began
I walked over to the bushes and pulled out the deer with it's antlers cut off , I had hunted it a day before. Its body was already stiff.
I made sure to cut it's antlers so if anyone were to discover the deer then they would blame poachers and this deer corpse is the perfect distraction i had arranged .
" I am a genius " i muttered under my breath with a small smile
I dragged the dead deer over and threw it into the hole.
After that, I finished covering the pit completely. I even planted a small weed on top of the fresh soil.
Anyone passing by would see nothing unusual
I stepped back and looked at the ground for a moment.
Then I sighed.
"Finally… it's over."
I packed up my tools and walked back toward the road where my car was parked.
The night was dark and the road completely empty.
Not a single car.
Not a single sound.
I stashed all the things into my car's trunk and walked to the car door
As I walked, something suddenly slipped out of my pocket.
A small coin hit the ground with a metallic *clink* and began rolling across the road.
I didn't even remember carrying it, but instinctively I ran after it.
The coin rolled further and further until it finally stopped in the middle of the road.
I bent down to pick it up.
Suddenly the entire road lit up.
Bright light flooded my view .
Confused, I turned toward the source.
"HOOOOONK!!!"
A truck was rushing straight toward me at full speed.
For a moment my body refused to move.
I tried to step back.
But it was already too late.
So I closed my eyes and accepted it.
"BAAAAM!"
Everything went black.
I knew my body had been destroyed, but somehow I could still feel pain… like it was spreading through my very soul.
My last thoughts were about my family.
Every day I lied to them.
I told them I was doing well in school.
That everything was fine.
I wonder what they'll think when they see me dead , maybe even Ryan's body might be found...
The last bit of strength in my mind slowly faded away.
And soon…
Even my thoughts disappeared into darkness.
