SASHA ROSARIO'S POINT OF VIEW
"What the hell—are you guys messing with me?!"
My eyes are practically bulging out of their sockets as I stare at the shoreline just a few feet away. I'm so frustrated I could cry, gaze locking on all sorts of strange objects bobbing in the waves.
I snap my head around to Dallius, who's watching the exact same thing, face unreadable.
"Just tell me the truth! Are you actually planning to kill me?!" I yell, eyes wide with fury. He only lifts a single brow, like my outburst is nothing more than a minor inconvenience.
"You're overreacting. Why would I waste my time setting all this up just to get you killed?"
"Ugh, fine! Stop speaking to me in that fancy tone! My head's already spinning enough dealing with you!"
I rub a hand over my face, glaring at the three idiots splashing around like children in the shallow water.
Good Lord, I get winded just walking across a room! How the hell am I supposed to run back and forth in the ocean?!
