"Hmm, I see. Resurrected, huh?" So she failed to stop them. How unfortunate. I had high hopes for that elven woman. Veressa tapped her finger against her cheek in a rhythm, pondering her next action. "Well, it seems I was unable to divulge more about this from you."
"I'm sorry my recollection was inadequate for your needs, Lady Veressa. I shall strive not to disappoint you should we meet again." Stella stood up, moving as if to leave.
"Wait!" Veressa rose, making the table set disappear with a wave of her hand. "I have a task I'd like you to carry out for me."
Stella sighed, turning back to face the goddess. "What is it? I'll at least hear you out, but if I don't like it I'm leaving. I have no obligation to follow your orders since I'm not one of your servants." Her tone was sharp, earning a chuckle from the woman before her.
